Andy Bello is hands down one of the best General Contractor's I have worked with. His knowledge goes beyond pipes, so don't think he's limited to plumbing. He installed an egress window at our nearly 100 year old home. Because of the age of the home, there is space. His team was extremely true with excavation equipment within inches of my house and my neighbors house. Andy was very informative and participated during the entire project. The finish work is best in class, such as fencing function work, and framing.
I recommend Andy.

This guy is a joke, your an idiot if you have anything. Apart from his plumbing that is unorganized he believes he knows everything and is a jackass, do not trust this guy!

Called times with no return telephone or response. So can not rate his abilities, but can the service (poor).

The water ran cold our water heaters on both of turning on within a few minutes. Andy Bello's representative, Ray Sanchez, stated this should not be happening and that he could fix our problem. He recommended flushing both the water heaters to remove mineral build around for $330. We had him perform this plus he capped a pipe that cut off all water to one of our bathrooms. (He uncapped that pipe, but charged us for that error he made). He requested that I write a check out to him rather than Tankless Plumber or Andy Bello Plumbing.
I would recommend that anyone with a plumbing problem steer clear of the business and
At this time we had paid Ray nearly $1,000, but still had the first problem we had called him to repair and he still seemed to be clueless about how to repair it.
I ran the hot water heater with the closet door open for air supply and called Ray to inform him the water still ran cold. He proposed soaking the shower heads. I did this and the problem still persisted. As soon as I contacted Ray to report that he became annoyed and his attitude shifted to the being OUR problem and not HIS to repair. He became very educated and told us we should go purchase new shower heads and again there would be an extra service charge, when he needed to come to our home. When I suggested he would think about improving his client service, here is his text he sent me:
"TEACH ME DUMMIE. I'M DYING TO HERE (SIC) WHAT YOU GOT TO SAY SO I CAN LEARN HOW TO MAKE MYSELF BELIEVE MY SHIT DON'T STINK, AND SO FULL OF MYSELF, THEN ILL (SIC) WRITE A BOOK... STOP TEXTING ME."
By flushing the heaters, our problem wasn't fixed and CAUSED a problem: when it had never leaked earlier among our heaters was leaking. Ray explained that we had a heat exchanger, that seemed odd, but we consented since it was be covered by our guarantee. He also installed this to get an extra $360. The water in both units was quickly running cold, which was our original problem, although the unit leaked.

Ray stated there has to be a water line and to get an extra $225 he may find where he was in the home. After exploring this alternative he concluded there wasn't any crossed line, but suggested the real problem has to be insufficient air flow to one of those heaters (that was in a closet with a vent to the outside). I told him that it had been working fine for the previous five decades and that heater had been installed per specifications such as air capability. I told him he would speak to the manufacturer and they might conduct a report on all error codes our water heaters had had, which he had been unaware about and had never done before for any water heaters he had worked .
We wished to locate a plumber who specialized in servicing those have two tankless water heaters, so we contacted Andy Bello Tankless Plumber. It was a mistake.
I'm still in the market to locate a person for our plumbing problem If anybody does know of a plumber.

He speaks with a New York accent, which I presume should be a necessity for all pipes:)
I have had Andy assist us including support to our water heater. He has been timely and I have never had any issues after the actuality with his job. We have had installion of an instant-hot water method and a new kitchen faucet in addition to our water heater. His prices seem very fair and he tried to explain things.

We was putting off replacing it and had a semi-emergency using a garbage disposal that is leaking. We had bought the replacement garbage disposal but would have taken my husband half a day so we'd been procrastinating to put in.
Andy called me back in a couple of minutes on a Saturday of a long holiday weekend when others weren't working. (No one else has returned my calls yet, and Andy has come and gone!)
Andy quoted me $125 on the telephone and said it would take a hour. He came on all the promises. We would recommend him to other people in our area. He was helpful, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and fair. Great service all around.

We wanted to get a tankless water heater, our old one was about 17 years of age and obviously not working as efficiently as could be.
He told me I didin't if I didn't need them, require any of these things, the heater itself comes with a filter that takes all the crap in our atmosphere that is nice out here in San Diego. He broke down it, there are two filter options that are different, he didn't do anything or a difficult sell like this on any of it. You can tell he has been a plumber knows his customer service and his competition and bids reflect that. Our water heater was installed by him Friday, it seems great, if he was done and his mess cleaned up along the way. I would call him again in a heartbeat for our plumbing requirements.
The first two each told me something distinct, Bill Howe wanted to gouge me for nearly $1,000 for a electrician they said I would need to install a new outlet for the device (there's one 5 feet away that I plug my washer and drier into). Plumbing Plus told me I would require a water heater system to make it run correctly, while Bill Howe said no it's not needed up a set would be a whole house filter. It went on and off, Andy was my 3rd and last quotation and boy I'm glad I called him!

Andy Bello is a great plumber. He was easy to reach which is tough to come by with plumbers in North County. He got the work done and came on time. I will call him. Thanks Andy.

I called Andy Bello Plumbing if a bathroom in my place of business wouldn't unclog after I used a closet auger. I called Andy at the morning that day, and he came out later! He kept me informed of everything that happened as he did his work and worked with his instruments. He managed to fix the toilet using a long auger and needing to take out the toilet. He left the toilet clean and mended everything! His price was very fair (I have a plumber friend that notifies me of what prices ought to be) and Andy was favorable to utilize. I'm happy to support his business because he is local. Thank you Andy!

Andy had been servicing our pipes needs. He calls to service it yearly and also installed our tankless HW heater. Always courteous & with comedy, Andy responds with rush to our calls. Plumbers are hard to find. Andy Bello Plumbing is a keeper.

Andy is the man. He gave excellent rates for each of his work to us. Thank you Andy for rebuilding our bathroom and laundry area then mad slab leak.

Andy is an old-time plumber who understands quality pipes and customer services. He's like your uncle who gives to assist, except he does and knows the way to assist. He cleaned and trouble-shot our Norwitz tankless water heater. He came on time, ready and delivered. He understood and fixed shortcuts taken by the plumber who installed the unit in a manner. When the unit didn't work properly after his repair, he came back, and discovered the problem- which he believed he had addressed. He endorsed his work, provided great service and was apologetic for missing the fix - no cost as I'd expected. Andy is a stand-up guy. I strongly recommend him.

Friendly, quick and reasonably priced. Came next-day as requested, cheapest price from 3 quotes. I will utilize Andy again!

Wonderful man, quality work, fast, responsive, and realistic. I would give him 5 stars but a few of the guys who work for him aren't that dependable.

Very delighted with the service & won't be afraid to use Andy later on.
A couple of weeks ago I was packing my luggage for a flight when I discovered that our water heater was leaking. I needed a plumber fast so gave a call to Andy as I saw he was local. He explained he had been on a different job but would be inside the hour. He arrived, made things safe, began draining the tank & told me the choices. He went & got the tank after deciding on the replacement , came back &'d finished the installation within four weeks of the telephone call. I left my trip on time.

I too received this Reaction in Andy Bello: The lord is perfect my friend although I am perfect but. My thinking is perhaps just like a sales call it seemed. try again. And recall be happy just be pleased."
I can assure you I left messages and mails (two of each) with perfectly clear contact info, but no response whatsoever.

I decided it was only fair that I respond once I got through all of the spelling mistakes of a third grader. If Andy produced any sign that there could be delays due to weather or had made some mention of not servicing Ramona, I'd haven't felt right about leaving 1 celebrity. The first thing when I called, I asked was he said sure and if he would support Ramona. I had tried other technicians that weren't eager to return to Ramona, therefore it was. There wasn't any mention of any chance of a delay. We set an appointment time and that was it. Additionally, I am quite impressed that Andy is able to remember how the weather has been the day that is exact now that it is almost nine months later. I suspect that the weather didn't stop him from allowing me to know that he was a few hours later than he'd told me, although I don't remember if weather could have been an issue or not.
I felt a little bad since it was based on his customer services, when I left Andy Bello Plumbing a 1 star review. Now almost nine months later He's composed a reply to my critique (just in case he gets clever and deletes his post):
This is a wonderful effort to make yourself look like you earned an unfair 1 star, but I feel the necessity to go 1 step farther and indicate to fellow Yelpers that Quantrell Plumbing is used by them. Quantrell Plumbing if Andy failed my expectations of customer support that was proper was utilized by me. My expectations were surpassed by quantrell Plumbing and I have even used them again.
"Bo hoo Ryan sorry but as I advised you if it had been raining that it had been and very heavly that you would need to wait a bit longer for your non emergency call. And also Ramona is realy out of my support area but would try to help you weather permiting.

Garbage disposal leaked Saturday morning and busted and I gave them a telephone number. Came and replaced the whole thing within two hours of this call. Friendly and fast, would use again to additional plumbing needs!

Andy did a quick and complete project cleaning my tankless - it needed it too. He was very patient in explaining what needed to be carried out and what he was doing. No surprises . Quite straight shot, and he's a man that is nice .
