Tarpy Plumbing Heating and Air

A year later, I'm still blown away by the customer service. We had to have them out last week to replace a pump to your ac. We got email and a telephone 20 minutes before the established appt letting us know they were on their way. Every interaction I've had with the workers has ever been amazingly professional. Could not recommend this company enough.
After our AC broke down during a hot week at San Diego Tarpy was utilized by us last year. Having a newborn at home we had been desperate to get somebody. Tarpy understood the plight we were at and using their tight schedule they were still able to come out but we had to replace the entire unit. When it arrived to install, they put paper down on the floors so that they didn't cluttered anything came on time and got everything working.

We finally have an Amana Home Comfort Plus speed system which is not only energy efficient but much more quiet than our old system with a warranty that is fantastic. We hope that the energy savings we expect will soon be reflected in our bill that is SDGE.

Jeff, Sergio, nicholas and Cheryl have been a fantastic team in coordinating and installing the heating and air conditioning system's replacement.
Nicholas & Sergio set up a system such as the ducts and registers. They're personable punctual, neat, considerate, professional and assets to their company. They made it a pleasant experience and streamlined the installation.

Because I signed up with them over the 4th of July week I received a discount from connecting together at another discount along with the San Diego County Fair. Steve was thorough in explaining and answering all of my questions when he came out for the proposal, the father and son team who set up the unit where thorough, paid attention to detail, cleaned up after the job, and review the specifics of utilizing and maintaining the unit. Cheryl worked to finish the trade after the setup was done.
Tarpy employees were timely and professional.
In general, I was really pleased with the service Tarpy supplied and with the caliber of the Mitsubishi components (inside and out).

I need to congratulate the office staff for the considerate and courteous service. In the past two decades, I've seen an enormous amount of customer service and speed of reaction. Only want to say thank you so much to the team for the excellent job out of Artie, Cole, Tarpy PH&A and Cheryl including a UV light to our HVAC system and increasing the size of the cold air return. The space where the device can be found under the house is incredibly small. But they managed to get this task done. Everybody was very professional and helpful. Thanks again!

It looks like the installer forgot to hook up the pvc drain line. He connected the condensation line therefore the water had nowhere to go.
Tonight I just came home and discovered my ceiling was about to cave in because the water condensation was pooling up on top of the drywall panel. I'm still waiting to see if my floors will begin to buckle out of the moisture which fell from the ceiling.
Bowen was able to determine the drain pan wasn't sloped properly which caused the water run away. This whole process was a headache. Although, I'd cannot personally recommend Tarpy, I'll state they were very friendly and professional in the way that they managed this mishap.
I'm pretty sure drain line is pretty essential to the proper functioning of the air handler, although I'm no HVAC specialist.

More importantly, why did not Tarpy send someone out right away to make this rather than waiting. Unbelievable.

In over 18 decades of house remodeling experience, I have never experienced anything as shocking as what I did today using Tarpy Heating and Heating. They installed a Amana 2 ton heat pump system in my condo yesterday. At first, I thought everything was fine when the installer left but that all changed. I discovered that they never even came back to do a walk through with me after they had been done to create sure everything worked, which I thought was odd. ThenI noticed they left the AC set so I turned it back to 72. Tarpy was phoned by me and talked to Chad. He said they would not have the ability to get a technician out .
The new system is functioning like it should. Following a lot of patience on my part along with excursions by technicians, Tarpy was able to get the machine.

My husband and I just got a AC and heating units installed in our condominium. I am so impressed with this business from the women who make the appointments Paul the estimator, Sheryl the scheduler and of course Crow and the installers Jason. They were helpful and all professional . I will be recommending them to friends and family. Thank you!!!

The job was completed in a professional manner. They went over and above sealing all and looking for any air leaks.

Was professional, responsive and helpful during the entire process of installing AC in our property. Sergio and nicholas were our installers and they have been polite and knowledgable. Cheryl always answered my questions quickly and was helfpful during the practice. We had a lot of work being dont from contractors and Tarpy was merely a pleasure to work with and was also very accomodating to another work that took place. Over all it was a fantastic experience.

Within hours of determining Cheryl contacted me and scheduled the work. Not weeks out but instead in 1 week. I understand they're busy so I didn't expect it fast. Cheryl and the office staff were exceptional and kept me up to date every step along the way.
Next came the setup. Wow!!! Perfect!!! Slam Dunk!!!
I'm a mechanical man and also have worked with my own hands most my life and that I handle field service, sales, and repairs for another huge company in town and I understand first hand the coordination it takes from earnings, to logistics, and implementation to deliver the product and get it installed in time period promised. Doing almost all of my home upgrades and repairs and being a hands on guy myself it was not easy for me to invite others and my standards are quite high. These people Nailed it.
From Scott, the specialist that lent me also the two installers this, Billy and Miguel was topnotch!!!
No surprises, ideal implementation price, no pressure, and also the equipment works perfect.
Hats off to the Tarpy team since I know there are other people in office and the warehouse I didn't call out by name.
Scott obviously knew his stuff and was not interested in selling me the product, but instead listened to my requirements and budget and nailed it. ( Trust me I got 4 additional quotations ).

We moved and of course our ac decided to crap out. Our previous company did not support our place so we contacted Tarpy and they came out the following day. The salesman was very knowledgeable and gave me several options. The installers came out and worked at our attic that was scorching most of the day once we picked a new device. They're extremely knowledgeable and they've hard working employees. Ohh and the women that work in the office are extremely friendly too. Fantastic firm.

Loved working with Tarpy from start to finish. We had three units. The bid was honest and Paul was helpful and informative . The installation team, Nicholas and Sergio, were so great. They were amazingly polite, were educated, and listened to our needs. They also left the workspace clean which is not always the case for a whole lot of contractors I worked with. The credit card payment has been a breeze also and Cheryl helped us organize that. Overall, definitely go with these men. Sounds great and we are very delighted.

Catalino and the Miguel were great. Super professional, educated, and kept me since I was 17, engaged for the most part. By which I appreciated, the owner, Paul Tarpy came. It was because of a miscommunication on our components although we had one hiccup with the location of a few outside ducting. The Tarpy group, including Chad and Jessica at work were able to help me locate a settlement quickly that we all agreed upon, and because of this I shall definitely recommend them. The end result looks and functions great!
I'd about 6-8 quotes from HVAC companies, and the sales tech, Scott Bergen of Tarpy, was the very best -LRB-619-RRB- 541-1415. He went over and beyond to teach me about HVAC in the house, our options, and how they would affect cost, utility bills, time to heat or cool, etc.. He also did an investigation of the whole house to determine the size AC system needed, something no other firm did, and found that a more compact size system (and much less price ) was adequate for our needs. The cost was in the lower end of the spectrum, and we felt that they were far our choice depending upon our meeting with Scott.
Just had Tarpy perform a AC installation on our new home. We had a AC condenser installed out and attached to the loft, along with an present furnace moved to upstairs in the loft.

Scott who visited us did a good analysis of our house distance and helped us pick on AC vs split ACs. He also explained gave us quotations accordingly.
We got the idea of installing broken AC in our home after seeing the business.
They were very accommodating and adaptable with our availability for a free consultation and quote.
Nick and jason were so fantastic. They did an amazing job and did all of the installing with minimum disturbance to people at home (it had been really nice since we had a 1 week toddlers in the home). They were very professional, quick, efficient and kept us updated as the job was progressing.
Overall we had an excellent customer support for installing and Tarpy Nick & Jason is highly recommended by us.

Update: they fix the register and did come out and assessed to make sure that everything was done correctly.
Well I recently finished building and moving into a house and Tarpy was who our contractor employed. There were several issues. First they forgot to place a pan under the air conditioner damage. Second the technicians revealed zero customer service or remorse till I mentioned something, when they returned. I told them when they were here to repair the damage there was a port cover and they've yet to return. Not impressed.

We had a replacement heating system at a price that was reasonable for my parents' townhome in Bonita. I'm pleased to say and friends recommended tarpy they exceeded our expectations!
Catalino and miguel were respectful, although not just on time, hard-working, cleaned up and completed the job on a timely manner. We highly suggest.
No delays. We could schedule service. As my parents are we were VERY pleasantly surprised that the young guys were.

Fantastic support and repair. They were fast to schedule us through a busy time. Our tech Bowen was knowledgeable. Our issues were diagnosed and fixed by him quickly. Highly recommend!

We had and the existing Duct was older and needed to be replaced. We had roughly 3 quotations from HVAC companies, and by far Tarpy's was the best. The Revenue Advisor, Steve Tehrani, went over and beyond to teach us about HVAC in the home, our options, and how they'd affect price, utility bills, time to cool or heat, etc.. He also did an analysis of the entire house to determine the size of the AC system which we needed, something no other company did, and found that a more compact dimensions system (and less price ) was adequate for our requirements. The price was at the end of the spectrum, and we felt that they were by far our #1 option depending upon our meeting together with Steve.
We are extremely pleased with our HVAC system and we would highly recommend Air conditioning and Tarpy Heating to anyone thinking about upgrading their residential furnace and air conditioner system.
Catalano and the Miguel were fantastic. They have been professional, courteous, and attentive, as they worked in and around various rooms of our home during the two day installation process. They kept us apprised of their schedules and worked hard for a hours every day. They were quite conscientious about placing tarps and covers and in cleaning up every last trace of any dust or attic debris before leaving every day. We had just one hiccup with all the water pipes which were in the loft but, Cheryl, the Project Coordinator promptly scheduled a plumber to come to our residence, along with the pipes were repaired the same day.

Nicholas and Sergio came by today to repair some so far so great and ducts. They were really effective and were here on time. We'll definitely use Tarpy again later on. Thanks!
