"Tavares Ace Hardware was family owned and operated since 1985 from the Carter Family. Roy Carter Sr. bought the ACE hardware store located in Tavares FL. While still operating within its downtown location. Where it became known as Tavares Ace Hardware in 1967, From the 1920s, this building was home to the Tavares Hardware Store. During the entire year of 2005, Roy Carter Sr. and his son Roy"Cadie Carter Jr. made a difficult decision. They both acknowledged the household made a decided to relocate and that they had outgrown there shop. The new shop was built on S.R. 19 at which it provided big benefits. Does this square foot shop supply more retail space than the orginal Main Street place, but it also has an abundance of consumer parking. Provided that about 50,000 things are stocked by every shop, a few are carried by every one of the Carters stores.

Always greeted right away by staff prepared to help me find something. Choice is good and their pricing is fair. They always have what I'm looking for and if they don't they have suggestions where I might locate it at another shop. They are good at making suggestions, if I do not know exactly what I need to solve a problem.
Have shopped on Duncan at this store, so that I guess likely a client. Staff is usually friendly and knowledgeable. They often have what I need to prevent a excursion to a box although it's a small store. Ace paints are good quality paints with matching a color and I have never had a problem. All in all, no issues during the years.
Worst service and they don't know their product. Sold me a weed killer which could of killed all our fish later telling them it had been for the water.
