I was in need of a great deal of plumbing work after purchasing my new house. Wood's was to working with name company up to end of the project, wonderful in the quote procedure. Donovan called to let me know he was on his way and the task was done in one day which I was expecting a day or two. They did a fantastic job!!!! I won't be afraid to phone them again and recommend them highly. Thank you!!!!
Years ago before I had been stuck with a massive bill and no job done by a plumber working for Wood's I had a kitchen faucet put in..."guaranteed 100 years". . Now it is leaking because the appropriate. . .or ANY. . .screws weren't put in. The screws are proprietary, because it is a faucet and I am having to replace the faucet. PLUS, I didn't see the leak until I had been having a new dishwasher installed which could not be installed due to the leak. . .now I have to wait another 2 weeks. Please, don't use these guys. .
Even 5 or so years later I'm stuck with their poor work.
We have three quotes to replace our water heater. One did not include much detail, perhaps not water heater's newest that the company would use and was high! Two were reduced and of these, we travelled with Wood's. We felt they offered the very best merchandise and we liked the degree of detail shared equally when the men arrived to the house to check out the job and in the estimate.
He was great at describing some things happening with all the plumbing and checked in before going forward with a cut to our water closet (exterior) door. He did fantastic work and we are pleased with our water heater.
Very prompt. Solved our difficulties and worked diligently. Prices reasonable . Courteous and service that is pleasant.
We were given a fair quote to install two pedestal sinks by donavan. Enjoy decent job and the price done by Donavan & Pete.
The Plumbing of wood finished replacing most of our other companies beneath kitchen sink pipes that was a wreck because of less than adequate previous work done by other businesses. We replaced the dishwasher and the garbage disposal and everything is working beautifully. Having the problems are fixed by one individual and install the brand new appliances was something we should have done . The young man who did the work and our quote, Joe, was exceptional. He knew as he travelled along, what he was doing and conveyed. We have pipes in our kitchen that's done. In addition, he fixed. The price was fair and the professionalism couldn't have been better. Thanks Woods Plumbing and Joe.
My hot water that was older decided to quit working on a Friday afternoon, two days before I had been to get out of town guests. I called Wood's morning and they set an appointment for me. Josaiah promplty came, after scrutinizing the water heater, and upon his advice, we chose to replace the water heater. Josaiah was individual enough to take some time to answer my questions, and extremely knowledgeable, comprehensive. I like the fact that he didn't rush and he took his time. He took the time to clean up after the job has been done and was quite awesome. You would not even know any work was done and he had been here! Josaiah was also very personable and it had been a joy.
When they appear in your door, they will be in a vehicle that is lettered, wearing a wonderful uniform, and name badge.
Our company was using Woods Plumbing for many years and I highly recommend them!
They will probably not be the cheapest plumber in town but you get what you pay for and that's ethics, professionalism and also a family owned local company that has been in business for 36 decades!
Following the piping was set up Wood's brought in an excellent dry wall contractor to ensure that the textures were matched and prepared for painting. Mike and corey did a superb job.
These people are experts. I had a re-pipe. Got three quotes, Wood's wasn't the lowest but were aggressive. Wood's bid was chosen by me because the supervisor pointed out code and age issues, who gave me the quote was very educated, and was willing to work with me.
I dreaded having to re-pipe my property. It wasn't enjoyable than I had feared, but Wood's left it a whole lot less of a hassle.
I can not talk highly enough of the pipes team that set up my piping. Bart and Bob clearly know their stuff. Actual experts. Always on time, finished a day early, failed quality work, worked with me on"I'd like this done overly" items. A pleasure to use. So I'd have a kitchen sink throughout the weekend, real concern for my needs, even staying late to put in fixtures.
Fantastic expertise, great tech price, great explanations. Highly recommended!!!
I had a 5 year-old water heater that had a new"mother board". I had to make the warrantied part could be paid for and the two phone calls to determine the location that had the component. Plumbers forgot to turn off water and blasted water all over gym equipment, automobiles and pictures. Husband spent an hour cleaning up mess. Plumbers took at least an hour
attempting to cable role to get it to operate. I called the company to discuss issues and was told a manager would call me . It has been 3 days and no telephone. I had been billed $440 with this component installation.
I referred a Customer over to Wood's Plumbing. They were happy with the home pipe job that is new they obtained. Older homes in Tucson require it .
I had a leak at the valve at my primary water line close to the water meter and a friend called me to Wood's Plumbing. They were able to send someone out the next afternoon and extremely accommodating. Bart called 30 minutes prior to the appointment time and let me know he would arrive a few minutes early. He identified the issue and gave me a quote to replace explained as well as the valve in detail the work to be done. I was impressed that he even worked beyond dark to get everything done and managed to complete all the work at precisely the same service telephone. Bart was professional, courteous and exceptionally personable and he took the time make sure I had no questions and to go over everything. I suggest the Plumbing of Wood and Bart if you're searching for a responsive and qualified plumbing professional.
I must begin by saying the secretary is an absolute sweetheart! HOWEVER!!! This is an company who tried to bill me $ 500. I was told I needed to order a thermostatic cartridge plus they informed me it cost $185. I found it on amazon for $70. Integrity in price should be a company cornerstone although I understand businesses will need to create money. You might fool others, but didn't fool me!
Joe, the owner, contacted me and corrected the billing error right away and the price is now. I was happy with the job 12, as I mentioned.
We've used them three or four occasions over the years with great results. However, lately they tried to talk my parents into spending tens of thousands to tens of thousands of dollars on unnecessary repairs into the residence. The problem was solved after renting some gear for $50 and a few hours work. Perhaps they've enlarged and new employees are not honest or capable as old ones - but we will not call them and this was unacceptable.
I used these guys a couple of weeks back for a drain. They were very good about coming out. That they found problems that they stated would cost several thousand dollars to fix and snaked the drain. I paid $200 for the drain and your visit did not function properly when they were completed. Of living with all the drain after a week a neighbor and I talked and we fixed my drain that was clogged . I'm not saying that the other repairs aren't necessary, the home is 40 years old but that I definitely am skeptical and was miserable about using a leaky drain after spending $200
Don't employ these folks. Beware! Since they were 1 minute from my house to give me a quote on a fix or replace a gasoline 25, I called forests pipes. I inquired if they could find a leak since I had a leak and was discharged from my property. ( Gas was red tagged) A great guy came out and couldn't find a leak but couldn't give me a quote. Agree his boss will come. I compensated 212.50 for a pressure evaluation. The guy and girl on the phone said there was a miscommunication. Since all I wanted and needed was a quote that I hauled in my call to forests pipes. About two weeks later, 2 guys came to the house for the estimate. First thing he says is I really don't understand what guess. However, of course I had been nice, and spoke about what happened with the initial estimate. 1 guy agreed there was a mix up. I said I called planning Dept and could find the license for $52. He explained they were 350. I just wanted a quote nothing personal. They gave a quote of $2900. I recived 4 other estimates ranging from 550 to 800. The job was done for $550. Permit was 52 not $350. These people ripped off me. Tried to gouge. At a time when our family of 5 was evacuated from my home. They charged nearly half of what the work was supposed to price, to get a estimate that was ridiculous. Quality does not supercede customer support and reputation. Beware of this organization.
Mind you that this is a 6 year old water heater--probably cost $450 if we bought it out right???
We had no water pressure. They come back out and walk forth and back and back and forth scratching their heads. One guy says that rosemary captured at the line and we had to have out it. . .He left then sent another guy out--same scenario. He says we need to put in a $2000 conditioner. This difficulty although happening right after the setup is net-new. I felt I was being up-sold like paying $50.00 additional for a smaller water heater....
Update: Wood's Water heater setup was faulty and we have to break open the walls and also have the pipes blown out (since they did not blow out at the installation! Run do not walk from these men!
We had. They were recommended as a Certified AO installers. They came out and said that they had was too large so that they had to get a smaller one--because of the privilege they charged an additional $50.00 over and above a charge of $350 for using a replacement installed--yep a beautifully outrageous cost of $437.50.
You never know what you want until it fails! I recently helped a friend by advocating Wood's Plumbing, not only managed to help her with what she wanted, they helped her avoid Thou$andS of buck in water damage from a second story bathroom sink that wanted fresh supply valves and lines! A fantastic job and catch!!
