Update: I am nine months and a homeowner ahead of my family was about to descend upon my home to our first Thanksgiving in the new crib in I had a sewer pipe event three days. That has been looking iffy at best (as was my chances for a shower lasting more than two minutes).
Since my experience with homeownership is that sh** happens (this time, literally), it is very good to have someone you trust on speed dial. He's great in an emergency, and no matter you feel at the moment, he'll make you laugh.
My experience was fantastic, the issue got fixed and Thanksgiving has been spared. While he'd spent two afternoons at my home, he didn't charge me anything close to his usual speed on the premise that he couldn't fix it (it was the very first time I ever argued with someone to charge me longer ). He called to follow up a couple of days after to ensure that everything was A-OK (a indication of total class in my novel ).
The pro he called came over with a camera. It was inconclusive to determine the location of the fracture, but did confirm there was one. Next up was a call to the"digging plumbers" who came the following day with small shovels, found the breakage and fixed it in under five hours.

Nasty water came up from under our downstairs bathroom. Greg came right over to see if he can establish the issue. In addition, he came again the next day when he had more time to try to fix it (and a bigger snake). Unfortunately, the snake was coming up glistening -- I discovered this was a indication of pipe breakage (snake travels through gravel, gravel lumps from the dirt ). Greg will explain what he is up to every step along the way and what you are up against. In this case, he had to go to the scary little crawl space with a small spade under the house to find out if he could get to the breakage. He picked up his mobile phone and set the spade down, when he ascertained the busted pipe segment was too deep to be obtained by a single person. Greg was fantastic! Really professional, cleaned up after himself, very honest and gave great advice. He made sure I knew exactly what went on and clarified what he had been doing. Super friendly and a man you can trust. From his critiques of the plumber who did my residence, you could tell he has high standards and does the job right.
Anyways. . .the job was finished the fastest I've ever seen and in a decent price. I can get him as my'go to' plumber.
This guy was awesome! I didn't have an emergency but he called me revealed up precisely the exact same afternoon to look at the problem. Its VERY difficult to find someone reliable and not scummy within this region, and I believe that person was found by me.

First off, communication with Greg is outstanding. He is extremely prompt to call you back and keeps you updated on timing right up until he shows up for your own prospect.
He worked very quickly and was specialist. His speed was quite fair. I can use York Pipes and thankfully refer him to some friends and family.
He eliminated the sink as well as the stop valves . Ran into some issues because of the way the stop valves were installed but Greg handled that no issue. Again, a price was charged by him and did great work. HIGHLY suggested.

EDIT - 6-5-14 - Had Greg come for a plumbing dilemma that is different, to substitute a faucet in older version sink that had to be custom. Initially said the ordering procedure for those parts will be 3 weeks. Next day after searching around he found one instantly. Good job Greg.
Regardless of the fact that he needed to do all this extra work he kept his charges very aggressive to say the least.
I recommend this plumber.
Had Greg come for another filthy sink at the main bathroom. Not merely did he clean the clog. So he went to the local plumbing supply warehouse put in it while at the exact same time maintaining the charges and picked a brand fresh piping up. Another fantastic job again. HIGHLY recommend him. Fun easygoing man.
I can not say speak highly enough of the plumber Greg.
I called with a fully up tub. No water going down at all. I asked for a quote and he gave me a one. He showed up in under one hour. Wow I said to myself.
The age of the pipes and the angles of the pipes created it he would need to remove a pipe joint in the cellar to run a snake down the pipe.
He tried because of the pipes being old he needed to do work much beyond just snaking the pipe. He needed to replace a bunch of piping as well. He finished the work perfectly and worked really difficult.
Greg is my plumber. My experience with him was superb. He worked over the course of many days, always arriving on time. He explains what should be performed, does it, before he leaves, then cleans up. No play. No BS. I could not be happier.
I will be calling Greg in Drains and York Pipes every time that I have a plumbing issue for the remainder of my life! I had a scenario. After calling and stressing me out, I called York. Greg was extremely favorable, came the day and got everything. He sings while he works and was awesome! He cleaned up after himself! Amazing! I have already stored his number in my mobile as my plumber and would advise Greg exceptionally.
York plumbing has been called by me and left voicemails regarding a plumbing problem at my condominium. The very first time I called was a couple weeks ago. I never got a reply, but I thought I would give them another opportunity and maybe they were really busy that week, since they have great reviews. This week I called again and I have to get a call backagain. The voicemail claims"all calls will be returned." Not true in my case. Maybe Greg is a plumber when he calls you back and shows up, but I guess I'll never know.
I had emergency pipes when my water heater flooded my basement and broke on a sunday night. Being a Sunday Greg was able to react immediately and professionally. He showed up and put me. The cellar was cleaned and he went to find out my water heater was under warrenty and was able to receive the replacement for me. He identified reasons for the broken water heater and areas that the preceding plumber had missed. Once these problems were identified through what he would correct that he walked me and made certain I understood why he was doing it, and what work he do. I cannot thank him enough for the wonderful work that was done and I'd recommend his work to others later on.
After locating a leak I phoned York Plumbing. Greg was cordial on the phone, told me he would call back within an hour when he was finished with the task. He called when he said he would, showed up in my location when he said he would, was very nice and pleasant, and got to the problem. He discovered the source of the escape (and did not make fun of me for not having the ability to find it myself because it was not exactly as hidden as I believed ) in only a couple minutes. He billed me a lot less than he initially said it'd cost and repaired it quickly. I'll be calling Greg, if ever I need a plumber !
Our house was transformed by york Plumbing from forced hot air oil into hot water gas that was forced. Job in a little house in Nahant. Installed all new base boards using a high efficiency unit throughout the house. Don't inconvenience us during the job - and I work from home. Great job!
