Within the 35 years that we've been in business , we've seen a lot of items that were different. We are not surprised by anything anymore when it comes to the plumbing, heating and cooling system, or septic/sewage needs of Arizona residents.
I called Mike much later.
Baker Brothers did a repipe. Nearly the first floor ceiling and also many living room walls have been opened to the bathrooms and the kitchen.
I felt dumb. LOL
Paint and drywall ended and you would never know they were there.
Love Baker Brothers!
We planned to move into a hotel for the month with our two cats. Mike told me it would not be necessary but we needed to be comfortable. Silly us! We moved back home. The men were organized and so clean that we knew they were there. They managed to keep our bath and kitchen working all the time.
Our experience with Baker Brothers has been positive, and I'd recommend them highly for jobs that are repiping.
I have been so happy with my encounter with Baker Brothers, and they've my husband and I!
It has been almost a month since the fix and we noticed that our water bill has been higher than normal, last night. I phoned Mike and he was out here in just a couple of hours. Within about 15 minutes, he figured out that the leak was unrelated to the repipe task - it came from an old pipe. He capped the pipe off and the leak stopped. Although this was irrelevant to the repipe occupation, he did not charge for the ceremony AND noted we had a new valve outside he replaced us for FREE. This shows his customers are appreciated by him and will take care of them.
From the following day, his team of some of the nicest and most professional men came into our house. They were really friendly and calming and could feel my nervousness, explaining the entire process in detail to me. In a little over a week they ran the pipes through, had cut to the walls, and put all the fittings up. It was a really messy process but they were very considerate, placing paper on the floors and covering up furniture moving paintings, and sweeping their drywall mess . They replaced a couple of valves which were worn out. Subsequently, the most amazing dry wall man named Mark Searles in and did the wall and paint job I have ever seen in my entire life came. You can't inform that pipes have been set in. After the job has been completed, Mike personally came to our house to rate the job (after the town had already done so) and to make sure we were happy.
I was amazed with how Mike managed any problems that arose. We now have a ding on our fridge that I am convinced I noticed, which apparently doesn't happen. He was troubled by this and took a chunk off our bill, when he would have easily said"You can hardly see that" because he knew it'd bother ME. Additionally, when cutting the drywall an electrical line has been struck, which does happen sometimes, and a electrician has been outside another day to fix it. Mistakes such as these are inevitable in any significant job (people are deceiving themselves if they say they are not), and Mike made sure everything was taken care of. Also, we noticed a cracking sound in the wall after the pipes were placed, and Mike was right there to inform us exactly what was going on (contraction and expansion due to our water heater being put WAY too high. . .and much improvement after we turned it down). The issue happened when I noticed water streaming throughout the floor that seemed to be operating beneath the bathtub, flooding the floor and turned on our downstairs shower that was used. I immediately called Mike in a panic, who stated"I do not like to listen to the term'flood!'" And agreed to send one of his techs over. Obviously I understood I had the shower head pointing the wrong way - one of the moments of my entire life. Mike just laughed it off when I phoned him back, but it was very nice to know he'd leap to help us out in a (water) crisis.
Mike from Baker Brothers walked , on a Sunday morning all times with his son, who also works for the business. He came in on his day off, and did not want us to need to wait till Monday. He was concerned and compassionate in the. He really got up on a ladder and utilized his moisture sensor and cut out a bit of the drywall to inform us how bad the water damage was (completely over and beyond), then capped the pipe off briefly so we would have water. He worked with us to get our business by providing a few extras, and provided a quote which has been HALF of what some of the competitors were piling. His prices in conjunction with his kindness was what sold us with this company. We talked to another client and were sold.
In September we noticed a bubble. When we understood our pipes ran up there, we all know that it was time. This was something we'd been dreading due to the cost. We predicted about six or seven plumbers and became increasingly nervous. Up to 23K charged to repipe that our 2600 square foot house. We had been dealing with water damage in our ceiling and now this added cost on top of its stress - . My self was sort of a wreck.
A $187.50 unclog it and to conduct a snake through our sink? Money well spent for all those ALL day, after waiting, you want to be scammed! 10-2 is when they say they'll be here but they arrived at 2:10. Never again will I use Baker Brothers.
I have nothing but great respect for this particular business I have been cultivating a good relationship with all the plumbers (shout out to Doc & Chris) but to be honest with you there I wouldn't think that some of them are lacking Chris was doing the copper work, he did some unbelievable work at the house I am totally pleased with everything they've done. I believe they've gone over and beyond what the service job was and this was a complete install so that they must get in the house every single day from the time that they were done you couldn't even tell there was work being done on it, thanks again and I hope that this helps somebody who needs work completed you won't regret it.
I am a big fan of businesses that are local and I'm not in the habit of giving reviews that may hurt you. However, if anybody is thinking about hiring Baker Bros.. Plumbers be aware that they're one of the most expensive plumbing firms in town. Mistakes are common, particularly anything more complex than a drain. By way of instance, on a water puddling at the backyard call a part of my sewer line has been replaced and re-connected into an pipe leading to an ancient tank from the 40s instead of the primary sewer line facing. Their work. Cost? $4500. Another moment, a bladed snake was driven via a concrete pipe, putting a hole in it. Their work. Cost? $2500. Obviously, I've had enough. I hired another company to fix their"work." Be aware they do not like to be questioned and that they will admit nothing. You are to get out of their way and pay their prices. Remember, they're doing you a big favor just.
A buddy, who's almost 88 years old, so that her billed to put in a garbage disposal told me! Fundamental install, that is it! They took advantage of her. I used a business and they installed one for 80.00 and suggested I buy one at Home Depot to spend less. Shame on you!!!!
I recommend Baker Brothers plumbing, they are extremely professional and always on time. I have had numerous jobs that this business has done for me personally and without a doubt all of them have turned out perfectly. From to replacing all of the pipe in another 14, re-piping that the whole home. Our business depends on the brothers of Baker plumbing solutions to the fullest. They'll come out the following day and resolve any issue that you're having Whether there are any issues. They are very knowledgeable and professional.
My Saturday away to start with water came from beneath the wall. I called Baker Brothers, because they'd repiped my house and that I thought it could have been related to the repipe. They had a two men here and they discovered the leak which was coming from underneath my ac unit that's less than two yrs old. They vacumed up the standing water as best they could. I has been advised there are a service call charge. They left to go pick up bills, and I asked about a discount. I received a call from Baker Brothers telling me they were considering a courtesy call, so I would not have to pay for the support call. Thank you so much Baker Brothers I really appreciate you giving me a break now. Let's hope I get as good service from the ac individuals. This company is highly recommended by me, They repiped my house and did a fantastic job.
We were helping a friend get quotes to get her home plumbing pipes redone. Mike from Baker Bros came out to bid the project. He was than the estimate that is next. When asked what the difference might be....what they perform differently than the other respectable plumbers in the town he became angry and said he no longer desired the job and asked for his bid back! Maybe having a terrible day...I don't know but I do know his bid has been nuts! Don't bother...
My personal experience with Baker Brothers Pipes is excellent, My sealing difficulty completely fine today. I would like to say, the number of options can be overwhelming If you're looking for a plumbing service in Tucson. It is vital to decide on a plumbing service since they'll be responsible for carrying out some of the most significant repairs in your home.
I do not write reviews but I must say that. Doc was the plumber who re was considerate, courteous and most importantly and did the pipes in my home. It was a nice change to have a provider care about professionalism.
I felt this merited the time, although I don't bother to write reviews of service providers. I called Baker Brothers this afternoon, and they delivered a wonderful serviceman, Ken this afternoon. Not only was prompt, courteous, and considerate, he was helpful and knowledgable. I had been thrilled with the service, price, and Ken. I would not be afraid to phone Baker Brothers again and would recommend them to friends and family?
