I think a critical component in the success of any project is excellent communication between the client and the contractor, a thorough understanding of the scope of work and of course realistic expectations. Angel has ever taken the time to ensure he understands what it is I expect, so the project is a triumph, my vision to the scope of work and a willingness to remain on top of it.
I have hired Camex Builders for two jobs. One was a bath remodel the other installed some new laminate flooring.
I've appreciated his openness to in certain that the people who are currently working on the project are skilled and are prepared to present superior craftsmanship from the product. While I take credit for the designs and materials choices it was still critical that they were executed properly. For jobs that will affect value and the appearance of your home they are highly recommended by me.

He is very professional in his work, working in my project Power, a main panel was Also Converted by him from 100AMP into 200AMP

Three decades after, my parents had moved closer and were downsizing to a nice mobile home (which has struggles to redesign ), and the contractor they have hired had done almost nothing in five months and was robbing them blind. My Dad recovered from major surgery and they were living in a hotel, in 1 bedroom of the home - with no kitchen and half a bathroom.
Angel if his group were the subcontractors to a general contractor I had hired to half of my Mountain View duplex and I first met with. I was rather impressed with his job - but maybe not with the entire contractor - and - made sure I got his contact details.
Builders and camex Electric are just simply the best. Angel and his staff are very saviors for my loved ones.
Then I went and hired Camex and Angel to assist remodel to get an update for my own mother-in-law - for the side of our duplex. New kitchen which has been arthritis no-slip vinyl plank floor that is fresh, new bathroom fixtures, new electric work, and complete painting inside. Angel discovered some problems that were truly scary and I am so glad we mended before the house burned down! He installed ventilation for bathroom and kitchen, and a gorgeous kitchen that she's in love with, and all in only a couple of weeks. Reasonable excellent quality work cost, and superb communication and problem solving. I would recommend Angel and his staff at Camex! They saved my family. A++
Pushed Dad to call Angel and Camex, and I am glad I did. Angel came away, evaluated the circumstance, and he had gotten more done on the home than the other guy had completed in 5 months! Within a couple more weeks, my parents had a gorgeous kitchen bathrooms, hardwood floor, and paint job that is excellent out and inside. Camex and angel add a beam that is massive to make an open plan kitchen/greatroom and mended the horribly mangled electric job the guy had butchered. I was really really impressed. The group of men was amazing, and actually cared about the family whose home they fixed and the quality of the job. The cost was incredibly reasonable and all worries were listened to by also his and discovered solutions.

Angel simply left my flat. He did an excellent job and put a great deal of pride. Pricing was rather fair. Given all of the work and hours spent, he could have definitely charged more. Along with this job at a price that is good, Angel is simply a gem of a human being. He is the kind professional you want on your team. He works with the maximum level of integrity and is kind, straight forward, honest in his pricing, true to his word.
I highly recommend owner of Camex, Angel.

I had the Great fortune to meet Camex Electric and Angel Sanchez and Builders. Angel himself is a self-made hard-working man: contractor homeowners' type enjoy me always hope to find, and I've hired heaps over many years.
Thank you Angel!
Shelf expertise from begin to finish: they are focused on customer satisfaction and quality. It was a small but complicated endeavor that required them to get in and get out in tone for trades, and they did just that.

I would recommend him to anybody. He and rudy is a really great group to work for.
We got chief switches and our principal panel work. He is proficient and quite proficient in taking responsibility. He planned all of the needed permit to with all parties and did analysis. He is a really honest, humble and dependable person. We could leave house keys to do our chores. Pricing clarified the importance of work and all of the procedure involved and was fair.

Wow!I contacted Camex by phone with a feeling of urgency as I had a job that required a quick turnaround with unknowns and myself unable to be onsite to guide the process at all. Angel contacted me back within minutes and that I gave him the scope of the job which was to disconnect utilities out of 3 transport containers (water/sewer, gas, electrical ), in addition to eliminate a large metal ramp, some container bolts, plus some pipes which were in the method of being able to move the containers. This job required a licensed and insured contractor and a person I could trust to keep with because everything was being coordinated by me . Angel went to work by taking the initiative coordinate with the customer directly to acquire through a walk to push to the website, evaluate what was required, and offer an estimate which he did all. Amazing! He also sent me all of the Certificate's of Insurance. He was my guy! I met up with him to provide a deposit at work, and we got it scheduled for the following morning.

The best things about Angel are his communication, flexibility, along with his integrity. He provided every step along the way to updates. He texted me images as the job progressed, worked directly with the customer as far as possible that saved me time, and ALWAYS responded promptly to my dozens of text messages, emails, and phone calls (even on weekends) through this process. After the job was delayed by a couple of days due to issues on the client's end, he worked and accommodated together with the program. When asked to return to fix a couple of things which weren't at the scope, he jumped onto it and did not charge extra. I can't say enough great things about my encounter with Camex,. .

We ended up having to cancel the contract. I'd paid Angel up front for the licenses plus a down payment. I ended up having to pay some $500-$750 extra to jackhammer out & pour concrete slab in regions that should have never been touched, and also lost the $350 spent on permits which had to be cancelled since they had been beneath Camex's name. Then I had to find another electrician and all told likely lost nights of sleep, at least $1k, and almost 3 months of delay on the project. He even tried to tell me that under CA Labor board principles I had to allow him to cure the situation and complete the project before I could ask for a refund. These principles do not apply after such gross neglect, although this is correct.
We hired Angel to help us perform a panel upgrade which included a new underground service line in the city of San Francisco. After personally coordinating with PG&E and with all utilities marked properly, we were put to commence the project. We didn't have a date scheduled to begin the work, and I received a text message from Angel stating he was ready to begin, one morning. I was not at the home but I reliable Angel to commence the job since the sidewalk was marked and we had a simple and clear plan of actions. I received a phone call from a PG&E damage inspector who had happened to drive by the home. I was advised that Angel's brother had showed up and begun almost severing the gas line cutting throughout the sidewalk using a wet saw and cutting a route outside the agreed upon specifications. I instantly called Angel and told him to halt all work, and found out that Angel was in fact"sick" but had sent his brother to start the project without him. As soon as I got home, I was puzzled. Apart from opening the concrete in a different place (below the entry door no less, rather than to code in town because it might need 3 conduit sweeps..the max is 2) none of the cuts were planned with a straight edge or chalk line, all of them were at strange angles and one of the cuts even hit the raised foundation and cut into it by about an inch. All of it looked awful, with too little planning, business, and management, and all of the sludge and debris was left with zero cleanup, clogging the drains that are crucial for rainwater runoff in the winter (this was January of our wettest winter in years). His brother is not capable of working independently, and should not have been sent without supervision. Angel was the one who told him to take a different course than what was approved by PG&E, when he is the owner of the company for what occurred and he even blamed his brother. Thank God that the PG&E inspector stopped the insanity when he did. . If things had continued I can only imagine.
I do not recommend Camex for any severe work that is electrical. Further, when I revisited the company reviews on other websites, I had a comparative post or found reviews that he'd clearly either posted about himself. "Mr. Angel" langauge here and there the way he talks such as people on Porch.com. He should not have obtained our job and is not up to date. But, also my fault for hiring someone that does not possess BBB accrediation of conducting business following a decade.
