Michelle O'Connor in Rockaway construction is so magnificent! She has so much great expertise in building! She really listens and cares about budget and your job. She is very easy and funny to do business with!

After months and months (literally we started talking with them close to a year ago) we are all finally able to start our job today that licenses are signed off on and approved by the city/engineers. After multiple weeks of asking about a beginning date ( I was told right after Labor Day)they are no longer able to work on our project because of other projects which have popped up. This might have been OK, but they evaded my emails and phone calls for WEEKS so as to buy themselves time while I could have been sourcing builders to stay on schedule. Really poor form and really unprofessional. I feel as though I might have dodged a bullet, however and am readying reviews here.

This guy is great. Not only did he beat two estimates I got but he got the job done quicker then the other guys promised.
Eric is such a great guy to manage. Super professional. He is so much fun do business with look forward to needing pipes work.

I'd Rockaway Construction to some significant remodel on my home three years back. We had a little issue with a sink and I contacted them to find out what could be done. They sent a contractor t that was fine, timely and also checked the rooms they'd worked and made sure that everything was in order. They didn't charge for any of this, and I'd use them for the project.

The issue. We needed 400 feet of 8 inch gas line.
Eric came gave a bid and got started right away. He finished up on time, even coming in on a few weekends to ensure that he stayed on track. He pretty much managed everything and worked together with our building inspector.
Worked my ass off to beg for a few pipes organizations to emerge and do a quote for me. There is no recession for builders. I was recomended by a customer of ours. He said this guy did some work and he could help us out.

A neighbor refered me, and I got great service. Responsive professional. A lot of plumbers had misinformation on codes that are current, or were vague or either did not return my telephone. Yes, pipes is expensive, but I did extensive research so I know I got a fantastic value (quality water heater) and support for the purchase price.

Not merely did the builders (assisted by the owner, I think ) bust a hole in my living room wall (they were working in the exterior hallway), a week later they were welding and triggered an apartment-fire, destroying our possessions and forcing us to move out of the flat for many months.
What a terrible experience I had with Rockaway Construction.
I would NEVER use these guys for employment.

These men came to put in a few windows. Beronio recommended them to put in a few Marvin windows. They were very expensive and did exactly the CRAPPIEST job... The owners were not to be viewed and even when I couldn't actually open the damn windows, it took them a week to appear. My window frames looked like hell once they were completed, and I needed to spend mucho $$ to get them repaired by professionals.

I moved into Pacifica and simply discovered him here on yelp. He did some minor work and mended a bathroom in the tub. Should you need a plumber, Eric is the guy. I believe his pricing was very fair too!

Had to phone Eric out for a crisis last Saturday and without fail he revealed at the last minute and saved my bum....literly
