I discovered quite a few things when he had been assessing flows and had conversations with Bill. Obviously I inquired if he can reconstruct the skimmer. He explained he can refer me to someone else or he will help in a couple weeks but not right away. I never felt that the pressure to buy support from him or his wife.
About the price, they have the escape detection quotation. I am thankful to have these expert service with a reasonable fee. I am excited about seeing Bill for the skimmer reconstruct and will update my review then.
The proprietor's wife, Shelley was called by me, on the telephone. She is quite polite, efficient, and a person to talk to. Bill the proprietor explained it constantly has problems and what the owner had done to the skimmer and came to check the pool for leaks. He tried to find its connection and pointed out a mystery hole in my own pool. I used ton't care about this hole since it not leaked. Bill explained that it might be an overflow hole attached to a wrong location like my house's bottom. I will definitely watch during the raining season with this hole and love this extra bit of information very much.
I need to use putty around the skimmer since I bought my house 5 decades back. I contacted American Leak Detection to find out whether there's any other leaks elsewhere and what I can do about the skimmer. In under an hour, I get a solution for my troubles and had all of my questions answered.

As great as a contractor gets! Called about dropping water at a rapid rate after having our pool . They came out straight away. Checked each system on the pool to be sure that they weren't leaking. Found the leak, gave a quotation to me and returned to fix the leak. This leak was not a simple fix. They dug up remover pavers and the hammer. As soon as I came to inspect I could not tell they were there. No dust, No grime, each paver back in place and all systems! On time and under budget. . If all sub contractors were this dependable and professional.

What a pleasure to work with. Bill is personable and explains everything. We would give 10 stars if we could to him. Thanks for the recommendation to Abby Pools. Our hot tub is an oldie but goodie. We did not wish to replace it thanks to the very experienced individual, we will have our tub up and moving in no time. He's a man but managed to squeeze in. We can't say enough great things about him. He's well worth waiting for. Thanks again.

Bill is the very best! Our pool and spa leaked. Bill came back and found the leaks and replaced the pipes. He also replaced the concrete to match the original. It looks great and we are very delighted. So far no further leakage. Thank you Bill!

Do not use these jokers. Not professional in any way, not responsive in any way.
They aren't responsive and don't want to conduct business. Wednesday afternoon called them told me they did not have anything open and did not get back to me until this morning. Never mind that they won't really repair it, great if I have a leak that has to be discovered.

Bill did excellent job in locating leak. A small crack/hole was from the skimmer throat and Bill was able to find it using his mirror along with dye test. This hole caused the water to drain down but stopped at the skimmer line. Bill applied into this leak area and it seems the water is holding at the same level for two days - meaning there is no water leak from the pool. He examined out all pipes pipes for the swimming pool, and they are all OK, no escape.
Bill is very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend Bill from American Leak Detection (ALD) in the South Bay if you believe or know there is water leaking from the swimming pool. Notice that prior to calling ALD, I had another escape detection individual to find the escape but he could not discover it.
Thank you Bill for locating the escape and now I could sleep better at night!

A big thanks to American Leak Detection and their super technician Aaron Cortez, for finding the issue that, in the long run, will fix our floor issue. Sincerely, Aaron was quite thorough in searching for any other spots around the home and gave us several tips on conserving our water.
It was not clear to our eyes which there was water coming from under the refrigerator but to the trained eye and a highly effective tactical flashlight we can see water leaking from its base. It was the very first area we looked and did our plumber but could not observe any symptoms of a water leak.
You are best served by calling a company specializing in leak detectio0n first When there's a time when you've got a water leak problem.
We've been going mad occasionally had standing water on them and trying to find out why our oak hardwood floor boards were warping. We had a large amount of standing water under our home brought on by the excessive rains and a high water but we could not know how this might percolate upward, through the subfloor and buckle 1/2 inch thick oak planking.

We appreciate that they handle their client with a care that is fantastic and greatly appreciate their service. Shelly was very polite on the telephone and Bill was very experienced and professional. They didn't bill for re-patch and its re-check. We are very pleased that we didn't should make effort for the repair because it had been cared for during the detection test.
It was definitely a positive experience and we'll surely use them again.
He discovered it was the crack causing the leak, when he came for the second time. He patched it. Since that time, there wasn't any leaking.
We've got a swimming pool and we detect a severe leak a few weeks ago. We thought it has to be a busted pipe underground, therefore that I called American Leak Detection for a ceremony. Bill came last week, he discovered a couple of cracks and checked everything. He patched the cracks without charge for us. I discovered the leaking was much better than previously but still apparent, while I did a bucket testing following the repair. I called Bill and the company agreed to come back to re-check the problem the next business day.

We had a leak under our concrete driveway. Our plumber said we would most likely have to tear up the slab. This firm is the best. Bill discovered that the major leak and came out. He patched it's no additional cost. The flow slow down so I called Bill re-checked my own spa and hecame and back out however, the water was dropping. Hefound another leak and mended that you. Shelly in the office is very personable and great. You simply can't do better than using these men

I knew I had a leak. I invested and many others spent. The service that I got in American Leaks at Morgan Hill from David Lopez was Fantastic. Davic took time to describe everything, located my key escape.

Did what they said and much more! Couldn't be more happier! Love the instructions to confirm that they could find the leak (very important). Bill was extremely knowledgeable, he left the experience enjoyable Response time was extremely fast too!

This is quite ironic, since before they started the job , they would not start out paperwork without their filled with the authorized credit card onto it. Until the paperwork was received in the mail, they phoned me everyday.
However, they awakened our charging, and charged the credit card. When their mistake was pointed out, they did not do the customer service to fix their mistake, but rather told us to figure it out among ourselves as they desired to prevent the credit card fees the company would incur to repay us, and recharge the correct card.
We booked with American leak's pool division. They have companies that are local, so I am not sure we used the SJ office. They charged us to appear and find our escape, and we hired them to repair it. They had been around the site for 2 days and did the work we contracted them to do.

I had them assess my pool which loosed a whole lot of plain water and come out. Bill super friendly, was punctually and my leak was discovered by him immediately! Two thumbs up.

I had a slow leak in my pool, but thought before I realized we added water it could be evaporation. Both local pool companies I talked to immediately recommended Bill at American Leak at Gilroy (this division handles pools only). At the workplace, she was very clear on how to prep for the prices, and also their visit, what they would do, and asked me if I had run a bucket test to size the congestion. It is not cheap but I knew it was outside my expertise. Bill came out right on time, and immediately got to work. He gladly explained what he do and answered all of my questions, although I had been impressed with his experience. When he discovered the leak, he gave me a bid for repair and retesting (not cheap) but also provided a suggestion on how to stop the leak briefly. I decided to perform the myself, which cost me roughly $2 in components and took 10 minutes. A few months later my pool level has not dropped visibly. In summary, competent and easy to work with.

The technician was quite courteous, and very thorough. He did find the escape, and it turned out to be an above floor difficulty, and one that I really could solve myself with less than $10 in parts.
A $375 inspection fee was, however I felt that the process he went through to remove other issues, was worthwhile. Would recommend them.
I booked an appointment with an Pool branch of American infantry detection...I got to them through Google, full of a question on line, and they called the next day to book an appt. Their dispatcher was quite knowledgable, and put together the work sequence. . .they were busy, so we reserved 9 or approximately 8 days outside.
