Crooked as could be. The plumber(????) Called me to the phone and explained it would be $534 plus tax to fix a flow. I told him to"get out of my home" --He laughed about the phone? crazy. Huh?
I asked my brother to go over there and fix the flow.... He did and it cost less than a buck. He pulled out the stem and put a washer .
I wonder if I could tell the permit board
I couldn't get there myself and that is why I called this highway robber.
Finished in no time in any way.

As a consumer, when you read this review you must ask yourself what will prompt someone to write it. As there is no benefit to me doing so. There is simply being a fantastic citizen of the world so they do not get taken advantage of by this corporation to warm others.

If the leak was true, which it was not is this organization's quote for hydrojet service $3500, when two other companies lent me $450. Why did this firm provide a quote to fix a leak which didn't exist for a price of $1500, when the plumber who did the work replaced the wax ring for $150 on the pipe to me. Could it be my 75 yo mom housesit for me and they believed they could take advantage could it be that they're just unethical con men or of an older lady. The quote speak for the imitation leak video appears to be a practice that is known by plumbers about this corporation.

I had been having problems with my mainline, unfortunately I came to find out that there were roots... They recommended I use a hydro jetter machine, it definitely cleared up mainline pipe! Highly recommend them and I will definitely be using them again!

Very speedy and professional reaction. Called them to get a clogged kitchen drain that they told me that they and advised by phone supply in home estimates free of charge.
The technician came, diagnosed the problem straight away and because it was so simple he informed us how we can fix it (or that he could fix it for 175 bucks ) but it was so fast and simple we were quite grateful for his honesty. Everybody from the woman who called to confirm the appointment was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Would use them again when we've got an issue later on.

Greg is the man. He went above and beyond to look after my broken water main, although I was traveling and wasn't event home! The town was called by him on my own behalf, and followed later in the day coming by to ensure they'd taken care of what they needed to. He created a dedicated client.

**Updated: Raised into a 3 star from two since the Company did phone back and were apologetic about the timing situation and the miscommunication about the actual work needed to be done.
Called put an appointment for first thing and obtained a quote for about $350. Was quite pleased with the rapid availability. However No one showed up until 11am. When they arrived they gave me an outrageous"upgraded" quote for $1200 and stated he can do it for $825 then $725 like he is doing me a favor... No thank you. If they arrived on time and did this it wouldn't have been as bad but the problems left me with a taste regarding the provider. Bait and switch builder.

Garbage disposal on the fritz over a weekend, and these men were. Sigh. Paid it as what else do you do? It broke again. After having to negotiate their return (I asked for no support call fee, application of the $150 to some fix, etc)the exact same tech comes out, can't fix it this time. Says I want a new one, calls for the workplace , then estimates me $1,000 to get a brand new garbage disposal. Nope. Got another company out a day later and paid $250 complete for disposal and installation.

Then they inspect the clean out came in, and said it cannot be snaked. Didn't get the job done. They used the camera, a sonar detector and other fancy gear and then indicated that the difficulty won't be solved unless digging the pipe out and quoted $3600 for the job and asked me to sign a waiver of right to cancel contract! They jeopardized that I pay $1000 buck although I feel cancel the ceremony and there's something wrong only 5min or else they will go to court. Settled with payment, nothing solved and time wasted.
What is funny is, the next day we rented a snake machine that is basic out of Home Depot and did it ourselves. With 20min of work the drain was working with no difficulty whatsoever!! It is only a little clog right at the stage. And they said it cannot be snaked? They didn't even try. We 2 amateurs functioned for 20min and solved the problem, their 3 men with those fancy gear couldn't even find what the problem is.

Vic came out and fix our kitchen sink and bathroom. He was friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond to fix the issues at hand and give us future choices for the long term in addition to ways to prevent issues. Plus he left no mess and was considerate. I will always come to Rooter Guard for some of my plumping needs. Thank you Vic and Rooter Guard.

Angel and rick came out the exact same day I called seeing a backed. They were both considerate, professional, neat, and quickly, and would not hesitate to call them.

We actually missed seeing these guys go! Though spending on a sewer project is no one's wish, Greg, Mike and the rest of the gang at Rooter Guard helped us get it through. We're grateful to have lucked into utilizing this company that is wonderful.
Long-story-short, the undertaking proven to be a problem with the sewer line to the road, which, with waits extending the repair, ended up due to the LA City inspection process that was lame. Road function, cranes and technical gear. In that moment, Greg and Mike hung in there with usalways friendly, positive and hard working. I am used to builders that start out favorable, but sour. Greg and mike paid attention to things- like discovering and then replaced a valve at no cost that was unrelated to the undertaking. Nice!
The Rooter Guard dispatcher called the following morning to declare Greg's coming in:30. He showed up at 10, again really cheery and fine. I was trimming a few hedges at the front, and, while Greg awaited the coming of his supervisor, Mike, he offered to help me tidy up the clippings (!) Nice!
A few weeks back, at our 100 year-old house , we experienced a sewage backup on a Friday evening. I started making phone calls and quickly scoured Yelp since it was about 9pm. Rooter Guard was the most efficient answering the phone and giving me hope that they may become here quickly. They came around an hour after. His helper and greg were cheery and clean and jumped into try to get the line open. They worked and sweated, but the snakes were not going to cut on it. He had to return the next morning to explore further. By now it was about 11:30.
At then end, Greg carefully dressed our front lawn back to normal, made a trip to purchase a few bags of compost to replace what had been disrupted.
I typically just write reviews for encounters that are significantly bad or significantly great. Here's a great one I'd like to inform you about:

Kevin addressed our disposal problem professionally and provided a synopsis of what to watch for given that the age of the unit to us. He's polite and thoroughly skilled and individual as we asked questions. We will most call back them .

Definitely among the best plumbing and drain businesses and LA.. I needed to call businesses that day. One of them sent someone, who came to have a look and provide a free quote. The guy look like he had been lost. He said he does not have the correct equipment, although we tried asking questions. Then we called Rooter Guard. They were rather precise To diagnose the problem over the phone and given quote. He explained that most likely it was my machine.
An hour later there came a guy name Victor. He explained that he'd have to run a camera. A camera was run by him and showed me everything. I couldn't believe what I saw. The line was blocked with roots. His supervisor and victor recommended to make it replaced.
Fantastic job and everything works.

Service and I like to start off by saying thank you Michael for its customer service! Rooter guard took care of my shops toilet dilemma. The bathroom was clogging up and over flowing with water every time it was flushed and all it took was a phone call to Rooter guard and they shipped out a technician in a hour. The technician gave a very thorough and easy to comprehend explanation of the matter in addition to all of my choices with very fair pricing and got the work done. @update. I was given a call by upper management and offered to correct the price they had initially quoted. I was very glad, they do reveal that they care about what their customers think. Thank you rooter guard.
I just had the experience with this provider. . DO NOT use them. . I had a crisis with my sinkerator and the technician didn't change in pipes only replaced that for 575 usd... WHAT???!!! Yes I have played want responses. He Also gave me a quotation to hydrojet a principal line for 775 and to replace a faucet for 335... you want to get robbed phone this company... they appear to like to take advantage of individuals.... I need them to be fair and charge a fee that is reasonable and send me a check back!!!

I recommend Rooter Guard for plumbing difficulties. I had water back up in my own shower and in analyzing the issue, the technician discovered issues with the plumbing. I appreciated honesty, their transparency, and explanations to resolve. It ended up being a bigger task than I had been ready for financially, they had a financing product that easy to access and worked for me. The tech Vick, at work was the other team members that worked at work and great. BEWARE!!!! They came, put the incorrect gear in the pipe, broke the gear, proceeded to break concrete to dig out the trapped gear in the pipe beyond the home (all without my permission), put a hole in the pipe to carry their error outside. I had to give them permission to perform more work. I agreed not really comprehending what went on. They called me two hours later, and explained that my plumbing problems were so bad I must cover 9100 to perform the work correctly. I was amazed in the development so I phoned my builder whom I've worked with for years of what looked like an easy fix. He moved into the property and immediately telephoned me and told me how much these men hadn't only screwed up the job that I hired them , but the job they informed me I"have to do" for 9100 wasn't actually necessary. My builder came in, repaired the mess they made AND fix the issue for 1500. I naturally told that the company this and they refused to admit any wrong doing, even though they did not even complete the first 2100 hundred occupation (left the cement broken and vulnerable and did not detach the pipes). Well, once I informed them it cost me 1500 to fix they decided to SUE ME! Unbelievable. Obviously I am and will be vindicated in court but the truth that they sued me onto a job they fully messed up but also did not finish is mad. Please be warned never to employ this provider. Contact me directly (via answer ) if you do not believe me and that I will send you heaps of images which my builder took of the harm this company imposed on my property.

Rooter Guard!! I only need to thank you for great staff and a great customer service and teamwork! A girl picked up the phone and I called in and helped me though my fear set up an appointment and to calm me down. After appointment was set they gave ETA and the technicians title to me! They told me in the minutes but had a technician named out Richard in my property in 45 min. He was very professional and explained to me about the issues I'm having so that I can know. It came out to be a sewer line directly under a huge tree I had. Well since here was nothing we can do at this 22, we needed to call Mike the field supervisor to come out. My husband the origins showed me and the camera ran and issue. Since it was bad, we agreed to repair it. I had been there the whole time of the repair if they pulled it out 21, and that I saw the bad section Wow it had been just as seen in camera but 10 times worse from outside! I'm very grateful of Mike and Richard and of corse Rooter Guard and Staff!
