Sean came over on a Friday to run a gas line for our new fireplace insert. We walked the occupation - there were a couple of options. He priced up every one and completely discussed the advantages and disadvantages with every"run" After we decided for the gas line on the route Sean got right to work. He said the job would require approximately 6 hours and that is how long it took.
Thanks Flowrite.
I was really happy with the service, the job, and also the cost.
He keeps after he installs the piece of shit you get nothing from the manufacturer as far as warranty because they Are sitting at basement too long water heaters in stock is Then told me that I need to be bored and go ahead and sue him
Re: 3 leaking faucets (kitchen sink, Tub, Bath sink)What a waste of time/money... What a sour encounter...
The tech (Jesse P) provided four choices that the company literally called Gold/Silver/Bronze/Band Aid. Gold was $2400, and Band Aid was 1000. I had the substitute faucet ($200), so the cost does not even include the significant part. I didn't hesitate a second to let him go. Oh , they charged me $90 for the quotes, which was fine... because they certainly let me know when I scheduled the appointmeny.
Long story short - I hired a different tech who did the entire job + parts for $300. He replaced the kitchen sink faucet, replaced a capsule for the tub faucet & rubber band to the bathroom sink.
Flowrite gave us an estimate of nearly $1700 for work another company charged us $500 to do. Everything is working perfectly for less than a third of this cost Flowrite would have charged. Nice man, but that's a huge price difference...
Did a great job using our tankless water heater set up. Professional, friendly, communicative, and people are extremely pleased with our water heater!
Our house flooded due to a water line break in our kitchen and I am thankful that Flowrite was timely for the consultation then to take a look and also to inform us about the water pressure regulator, and that after more than 10 years was no longer functioning and caused the water to break.
When we inquired why the work was so expensive we were advised that overhead, such as the"$200,000 truck parked outside" and also the iPad on which the repair options were presented are part of the cost, in addition to his expertise, etc.. When we inquired about the cost of parts and also the period of time necessary to finish the job, the owner told us that he does not function that way and that he was not comfortable completing the work for us since we weren't comfortable persuading him for his expertise. After a bit more discussion we decided that we would consider paying (much ) more for the repairs than we had anticipated in the event the work could be finished daily. After the water pressure regulator replacing was assessed on by the owner, he stated that he wouldn't have the ability to reunite with one and did not have it on his truck.
I am more than thankful that the part was not on his truck since we picked up the ruler and replacement lines/parts in Home Depot for around $100 and we fixed everything ourselves with some help. If we had been experiencing an plumbing emergency I am convinced we could have paid anything to get it fixedwe saved a heck of a lot of cash so and did not.
If money is no object this plumbing company may be perfect for you.
The owner of the company excused himself to compute a quote to repair the water lines and also replace the water pressure regulator. He returned with an iPad presentation with five options, ranging from $500 (known as a"band aid") to more than $1,600 (premium package). To say that we were shocked is putting it mildly.
In 2014, a system was installed by Jimmy in my residence for 5g, the process took 1. Even though at the time I believed the cost was on the high side, I went went with him according to his experience & knowledge. At the box I had a water leak in my yard in 2015. County water bureau dug a great sized hole & determined it was my responsibility to repair. County water bureau diagnosed the repair. I Called Jimmy. At the day's conclusion, Jimmys co-worker responded, appeared from the hole & consented diagnosis. Co-worker went into the store to find the piece, cut out the piece that was old, installed & slice that was glued. Approximately 10 minutes were taken by labor. Before driving away, co-worker than sat on his truck for about 1 hour. County agency reacts back out to scrutinize the work at that time the repair is approved by them. County worker asks me that did the work, I tell him Flowrite. Then he asks me. County worker responds with a surprised look & tells me I got"gouged" on this deal. I predict Jimmy back & tell him exactly what the County worker stated. Jimmy gets annoyed with the County worker & begins justifying to me I'm being charged $400. Overview: Jimmy is knowledgeable seasoned, & does great work. After checking with plumbers, the $15 in 10 minutes it took to correct the leak in my front lawn & components should happen to be a $125 to $150 support telephone. I gave Jimmy an opportunity to make the situation right at which time he made excuses. Ohh & guess that got to fill in the hole & do all the clean up work....me.
Flowrite Plumbing has been a pleasure to work with. An pipe had busted at our backyard that required turning off the water to the entire backyard. They were able to come out sooner than originally scheduled which assisted us. Jesse was the contractor that came out to the home. He was knowledgeable, thorough, very friendly and honest. He clarified several options to fix the problem and we moved through the costs. He managed to fix the pipe replaced the valve in a couple of hours. He cleaned the spot when he was done along with and made sure to put covers when he entered his house. We had been very satisfied with the job how respectful and nice he was and he played. We highly recommend Flowrite Plumbing if your have any plumbing issues.
Jimmy has been an absolute pleasure. We had been having issues with our water pressure and weren't able to take a shower- AND I was pregnant at the moment. Jimmy made time the week to repair our issue! Thank you Flowrite!
Jim has been a friend for years and due to his work pride in his own work, pricing, and he is the only plumber that I refer for plumbing problems that are major to my clients. I am a handyman and do a good deal of plumbing fixes but if it's over my head and that takes over the job is done with quality and quickness and my clients love him.
I had an emergency situation using our kitchen sink and also may"t appear to find an appointment at reasonable time until I came across Flowrite Plumbing. Their customer support was exceptional and fixed our difficulty. Jimmy is a people person and devotes to work that is honest. Would suggest to anybody looking for plumbing work at the area!
Over the phone,"yes, we've specialized equipment to locate your leak" Turns out the'gear' was guy going underneath the house. Then said,"we need to call a leak detection firm" - I had been told over the phone I'd called they WERE a leak detection business. In the long run, charged me $350, told me exactly what I knew (the flow is between my well along with the home ) and left saying"let me know if you want us to call a lead detection expert." Do not use this company.
After spending more than an hour working , Jimmy was able to remove the object.... It had been an iPhone! The bathroom survived, the phone didn't! We both got a fantastic laugh out of it.
One of my toilets not flushed . My husband tried it, tried pouring liquid , etc.. Nothing worked. It was time. We ended up calling FlowRite.
I strongly recommend this company to anyone having a plumber! Call FlowRite, you will not be sorry!
I have a two year old, a bathroom, and I HAD an iPhone...
15 minutes before his arrival, Jimmy called to let us know he will be there in 15 minutes. He put covers on his shoes to protect my carpet before coming inside. He assessed the bathroom and went upstairs. He confirmed that the cost that has been quoted, and let me know he would snake the lineup. He also quoted a cost in case snaking didn't work, and the bathroom had to be removed.
Snaking was a collapse, and the bathroom had to be removed. After taking the bathroom out, Jimmy utilized a camera. He showed me about the camera where the congestion was, and we tried to guess what it had been... lego? Sexy wheel? People toy? ...
We were quoted an initial cost to snake the line, and were warned that the cost could increase if further work was required.
Jimmy was amazing. He kept me up to date as he notified me of any pricing changes that could occur worked, and was quite professional. PLUS he fixed the problem, and my bathroom is good as new... that the iPhone, not really much!
I'll call another handyman.
Telephone that was returned, specialist, they did make a change of calendar to validate date, called to upgrade arrival time. Arrived at time given, introduced himself, presented his card.
That done here's my review.
Maybe I'm wrong, I moved by reviews that stated"fair".
I understand it was challenging to get it was completed, although the shower handle off , shower arm, simple. Drain cover he explained couldn't do. Could cause problem. OK. Could not do bath spout. Told me exactly what to search for when I buy one. Didn't do bathtub drain .
What I'd bought evidently was not right.
Fist of all it's not always easy to discover services which can come here.
Cons-
My story:
Doing updates . Had handyman outside and asked if he could mend drain in bathtub. Lever was stuck (open, thank god, was for quite a while). He tried but stated it was to try a plumber and outside him. I went and bought new faucet, fresh shower head arm and surround overflow plate with drain stopper, and bathtub drain cover.
I ended up paying $350.00. Think that is high.
He told me it seemed as if I had some jobs that were small and he is not a handyman, he's a plumber and charges plumber rates. Gave me a quote of $350. + 150.00 for the shower & drain arm and spout and faucet. He is here, I stated"fix it ". Wanted it done.
Pros-
I am rather glad to we were turned on to Flowrite.Plumbing. The times I have called for service that I get to address a real nice man and she makes sure that a plummer will soon be out really soon. Both my calls were sooner than appointment days and the work was done with care and perfection. Also, it is nice to have a company come out to address the problem without charging a commission for this service. I met Jimmie today for a water flow and Jess week to get a gas line setup. It's excellent to have a company to work who is there to help the homeowner instead of simply making money although no one ever wants a problem.
A few months afterwards, when there was an easily explainable manufacturing problem with a few of the bits that he installed, he did not charge us anything for the job, awakened the effort to block it and came quickly to address it.
Having spent most of my adult life in apartments, I have not had much experience with plumbers, however based on various stereotypes of opportunistic pricing, problem to contact, etc., it was never something I had been awaiting.
Flowrite came . We had such a positive experience which, when our kitchen sink backed up on New Year's Daywe contacted them and had it addressed the next day. We went ahead and had him do any job while he had been here and were pleased with the experience and results.
If you need a diligent responsive, honest and thorough pipes company that stand by their job indicates that Flowrite is the company.
As we bought a gas insert shaun came to conduct a gas line. He had been efficient, prompt and incredibly neat. In addition, he has a great sense of humor! He quoted a reasonable price, explained the procedure and finished the task very promptly. We were very impressed! He was even kind enough to answer our plumbing questions which were totally unrelated to the task at hand!
Im giving Flowrite 2 stars since the first time we employed him he was great. Second time we called him out he said he is there on the afternoon we requested. We called him mid dawn of this"appointment" to see when he would be showing up. At that time he informed me it would be 4 months! So we could at least find somebody else, A phone call would have been fine. Good thing my house wasnt flooding!
I'm amazed with snowing the public that these people can get away! We had an issue with our plumbing and known as Flowrite for a review and quote. They stated they charge a fee of $59 to emerge. We agreed they came out, what followed was like a used car salesman pitch although on time I might include! The plumber analyzed then and the plumbing dilemma said he would need to call his office before giving us our options. That did not sound good. . . He said we had a issue that couldn't be solved by simply snaking the major sewer line when he came back to talk with my husband. We were given three options for the fix by the plumber. The first option would cost $500 (the simple snaking of the line), and the previous option $2600! Could the previous option cost $2600, but he would need to destroy our driveway as a way to do it! After the devastation, we would need to pay to get our driveway. We could get a grasp of a small independent plumber who charged us only $150 with a 60-day warranty and fixed the issue! He revealed my husband our pipes were clear of any issues and we're happy campers.
