I raised in Novato, California and was born in Napa.
As a young child, I liked spending long hours behind the computer screen, designing websites and playing multiplayer computer games. Near the end of high school, I decided to seek a career which didn't involve multiple hours spent behind a computer screen. I landed a job using Zak Plumbing, a company based in June of 2006, in Mill Valley. I liked learning the plumbing trade more and more, as time went on. I knew I needed to make a livelihood when my Mom said she was planning to begin charging me rent. I spent over 9 years working for Zak Plumbing, developing my abilities as a repair and service plumber in Marin, and am still very thankful to have been educated by John Zak, a well-respected neighborhood plumber. When he went on vacation, John would leave me in control of jobs: returning telephone calls, scheduling appointments, calling in the like, and the payroll. For several years, I was very intimidated by the action of running a business. The process became fun, as time moved on, and I began to enjoy the component of running the corporation.

It works 7, when Yelp works. The Entry along with saturday evening is broken. . sink clogged. . Do a search on yelp. . Telephone Pina Plumbing based on other reviews. Telephone is answered by tyler. . Walks issue was thrown by me. . Even tries to assist me that no visit is required. . We establish visit is best. . He comes another morning (sunday). Friendly. competent. . listens. . Disposal was fixed by him very quickly. . And we had a couple issues he helped us out with all on same telephone and for an extremely reasonable price. Thank you!!

Tyler is a first class pro. I really don't consistently write reviews but you feel an obligation to compliment it, once you see class service.
Like all contractors, the challenge is to provide a"not to exceed" quote but to have the honesty and discipline to revise down your estimate if the job goes fast and not"milk" the customer up into the"not to exceed" estimate. Tyler was effective, fast and when he finished the job faster than his quote (50% faster in our case) he was as happy as we were and billed us accordingly.
Importantly Tyler instills confidence in his recommendations and his workmanship makes him an ace in his craft.
Tyler did a wall hung two brand new vanity installs as well as toilet at our house recently.
I have used Tyler on several occasions, he ran a gas line for my own BBQ and once I wanted a new ADA toilet installed he came and did it and also added the safety framework, he repaired a couple minor plumbing issues that came up while he was installing the toilet. He had been so helpful and timely. I have two dependable and reliable plumbers to rely on.
I can not speak to the caliber of Tyler's job, but his customer support is second to none. I left a message for Tyler at 8am on a Friday afternoon (going into a holiday weekend) - I had same day service to get a dishwasher leak. Tyler called back within half an hour. His schedule was packaged but he joined me with another plumber - even texting to present us - who managed to assist me. Amazing to find someone who goes out of his way. Thank you Tyler!
Thank goodness for yelp! I was desperate for someone to help me install a replacement hot water faucet in my kitchen since the lever spewed water up like a fire hydrant and mine broke. Nobody might help me but Tyler was able to come assist me. He had been on time, worked very quickly and friendly, helpful. Highly recommend and would not be afraid to phone Pina Plumbing again.

My water heater moved in the late night. I phoned a few people around Mill Valley and they pretty much laughed at me and told me they can fix it"soon" I decided to try one last thing, and so I texted Pina Plumbing -LRB-415-RRB-570-1054 (that it turns out he favors ). He had been really responsive and next thing I knew he was at my house. It is an off brand water heater and I thought,"no way this guy has the components to resolve this POS" but 45 minutes after it had been on and we had warm water. In addition to the service that the bill was quite reasonable. Tyler saved!
In fall 2016 I was going to renovate the master bath in our home in Corte Madera. I heard through Yelp of Tyler, also contacted him to do an estimate for the work. I opted to postpone the renovation of the bathroom, and instead chosen to have the present equipment. Tyler did not mind the change of plans, and he also made the repairs that are necessary. He did great work for a reasonable price. He's also a person, and has been responsive when I've contacted him.
Best plumber (and contractor, for that matter) that we've ever had. As we found out with a different highly rated attorney unfortunately, Yelp reviews aren't always true. Tyler has worked at our home on more than 1 occasion and every time he has done a fantastic job, always on time, honest & fair and responds to emails and/or telephone calls efficiently (unlike any other plumber). The best way to have a plumber which gets the job done!
Tyler has assisted me at my property with a few projects. He is really friendly, always on time or a few minutes early, and does job for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend him!
Tyler was great. He managed to come by the day and a price that is reasonable. No BS add on charges. Fixed the problem without needing to up sell me remodeling the whole bathroom, like some plumbers. Took the time to check at some nagging although not issues and gave guidance.
Tyler is amazing! Not only did he quickly mend it and figure out what was causing a major leak in our kitchen , but he went that extra step to be certain it never happens again! It seems like I have my very own personal plumbing consultant. While I'm out of town on business, before I even return, he's ordering components for me, getting them delivered to his house and scheduling that the install. Yea! Finally found.
Tyler is to our house several times now. Super knowledgable hard working and supplies answers to any queries we have. He had been referred to us by a friend, who has had experiences.

Tyler Pina was here for the second time today. I should have written this inspection last year, when he arrived on a Friday afternoon when no additional"highly rated" plumber returned my phone. Tyler is genuinely a neighborhood gem - responsive, and just a pleasure to have in your home. I knew exactly who to call this time when we had two plumbing problems harvest over 12 hours of each other! Read the other reviews - everything that everyone is saying is true! It's so nice to have found someone like him you might not think about plumbers but man, when you need you, and you've got a lovely you it is a fantastic feeling!
Tyler checked, and our sinks and shower weren't draining properly and fixed the problem right away! He was reasonably priced, personable, and fast.
