After almost 1 month with attempting to get a plumber to come into my parent's house through Total Protect, it took one phone call to Atomic Rooter to have somebody come out.
His associate and larry were perfect!

Larry Popkin from Atomic Rooter Arrived the next day as promised. He unclogged toilet, sink and our master bathtub. Fixed the powder room toilet. Returned no cost to deal with problem. Professional priced. Would certainly recommend and utilize later on.

First they called and said they would arrive between 3-5 pm. I run to the doorway inform Kevan(sp?) My daughter is currently sleeping but welcome him . Says"she won't be sleeping for long". With him telling me it's my cold water heater leaking as I argue we spend the next 30 minutes I just don't really thing that's the problem. There's a giant puddle in my room. He yells and yells and acts like I am an idiot for me to keep turning on and off the water. Daughter wakes up. So that he can see that it's obviously not that pipe though he is sure and annoyed with 34, I beg him for the fourth time to walk into the living room. "Oh perhaps it's the drain pipe that he eventually says when he appears in another room". Duh! I know nothing about plumbing and I have been trying to tell you for thirty minutes!!!! Anyways. Get screaming daughter back to sleep. He has no communication with me. If he is going to repair the problem 14, is not telling me begins sawing on the sound ever, a metal pipe. Daughter wakes back up. Fine. At least it's getting fixed. But he's telling me nothing. Nada. Zip. Acts like I am too dumb to communicate with.
My dad, who had been at the time dealing with the loss of funeral arrangements and his brother, known as anyone to receive my house ASAP. Usually he evaluated the circumstance and would have only come to my house. Nope these men took our loss they had and obtained just as much money were fools.
Sooo. . .suddenly a pipe cracked inside water and my walls has been leaking around both chambers enclosing the walls as well as the cellar.
As I said unless your drowning, and these are the only individuals available to you remain far. They're mean, unprofessional and
-unless the drowning in 3 feet of water, and they are all you can get(even then they'll triple charge you). S

Uh yeah I am aware dude. I would just like one to take the opportunity to look into the circumstance. He does not. Replaces that pipe. Oh no, turns out the pipe above it is currently leaking too?!?! Really what? How? Of course it is that you are a moron that I want to say. Tells me he leaves and needs parts and to not use my sinks.
However, as you can see in the other reviews where they claim individuals to not even have utilized their services, bc of the location..ha. The reason I know they are true are because the answer of the company is the same attitude you'll receive from them. They act like you are a moron and everything is the fault, or they claim to not have really helped you.
I am frankly scared for my life. However, I have safety cameras and footage of those repairs as well as the receipt, so I would like to see them argue this one.

Fixes pipe. Because a door can not close tells space to wash up daught wanders downstairs. Yells at me for the fact she is going down the staircase. Gives me a quote of 525. Fixes pipe. Daughter crying. Me asking him what is going on so that I can soothe her. No info. "I am fixing it" he states. I'm telling this problem to but he laughs at me and says water does not go up.
He comes back with"Steve" I'm not there, the next day, my husband is. They refuse to look upstairs. Charge me 675. Replace both plumbing. I try calling to find out exactly what they did and the cost is different and the warranty is crossed out. Office says I can not speak to him before Monday. Find the cell phone number he called my dad from. He hangs up on me. My dad calls, he yells at him telling him none of the above occurred?!? (He was there).
Because these people are not nice Individuals, I scared to write this
Alright so I want to write more testimonials to seem legit, but I frankly only write them for lousy or exceptional support.
I call a friend who's husband is a commercial plumber because I am so angry my upstairs isn't fixed. He walks in. Tells me the pipes I got ripped off and that they used cost and it would never take two men to fix that problem. Take me as a fool and treat me. I have been able to handle one but not both. I am bloated. Pete, the commercial plumber fixes my upstairs bathroom in 15 minutes, does not charge me.

Worst service possible. We had some frozen pipe(s).
Guy showed up for 10 minutes,'' said keep doing what you're doing, tried to scare us with some burst pipe talk and charged $300. Just mentioning a few sentences. I called back to complain as I wasn't at home, my wife was. The guy had a difficult time justifying what he did and showed no more empathy to the situation. I solved the issue myself basically, these guys did not have the decency to acknowledge that. I can see that these guys have a habit of screwing people over.

We had a very positive experience with Atomic Rooter.
We were quite satisfied.
We were immediately given an estimate, and the plumber worked efficiently and fast. The area cleaned and left it cleaner than when he came when completed. I found an all-around nice man and him competent.
We got a call from Steve, the owner, who gave an estimate on another repair, After he was done. When I told him we would defer that repair (that was not an"up-sell", but is really needed), Steve was extremely considerate, and recommended a stop-gap, which the plumber did for us.
Our bathroom overflowed . We called Atomic Rooter, who responded within minutes.
The owner understood right away what the problem was. It appears our system needed and was blocked to be snaked. When a plumber might be in the home, we were provided a time, and he showed up right on time.

Now, after weeks of silence, these dopes are trying to make it look like we've the incorrect company because my place is currently PA.. Unfortunately, I have to, once again, expose them to be the lying liars they are. To set the record straight: the appointment they neglected to show up for was White Plains, NY in 2014. We've moved to PA in the end of 2015.
Rather than owning up to the fact that they failed to show up for an appointment back in 2014 (in White Plains, NY), they gave us a year long song and dance routine on how we had the wrong company, how it wasn't them, and how we somehow made a mistake. Nope. It had been Atomic Rooter and they simply failed to show up.

The ownership of this company is despicable.
Thus, to the owners, all I can say is: it is really sad and pathetic that you'll seemingly say or do anything to turn into a constructive criticism from one of your clients in to a close 2 year justification and lie fest to be able to paint a false image of 5 star reviews. You awakened. Own it. Do your self a favor and stop deceiving your clients and stop insulting a client that you provided support that is awful to. You are dishonorable and you're not men.
Update 7/12/16 - Atomic Rooter is trying to intimidate Yelp to taking my honest review down by threatening to cancel a marketing effort. Here you go, Should you need any evidence of a company acting in their deceitful efforts or a dishonest manner to try and have a criticism eliminated.

Well.They were able to start on Tuesday, together with the excavator and put the pipe (Ha), Wednesday, they return to fill in the pit (filthy mind, the gap of where the pipe was). They abandon us resting readily and did a marvelous job. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again since we have a sewer pipe that is new, we might never need them! Nevertheless, if we have some plumbing issues, hubby or I'll call them. Their professionalism is next to none.
They cleared what they could and advised us that we would require a pipe. Another Oy!! $$$ began ringing and I wasn't pleased. Anyhow, Steve, the proprietor met me and hubby and arrived and spoke Tom Turkey. He very explicitly clarified what the difficulty put us at ease was. All licenses would be cared for by them and they would get started within a week. The price was reasonable, in comparison to what it could have cost.
. .let me inform you. . .how naive we're! A week or so ago, the toilet/washing machine/shower in basement began to flood. Oy!! Buy a shop vac, to vacuum the water up and the very first thing was to run out. Russell Larry came between 8-9:30 and got to work and. The issue was that the sewer pipe had origins (bloody trees, I was ready to rip our neighbor's tree. . .come to discover, it was a bush/tree, whatever it was on our property that was formerly there).

Atomic Rooter assisted solve my sump pump scenario, and arrived to my home over the hour. Steve and Enzo were responsible, reliable, professional, and conscientious of the carpets. :-RRB- A truly reliable company.

Last 20, I was having a problem with the sewer pipes at a one bedroom studio apartment that I have. Fortunate for me I also have the 2 family construction next door. We purchased a pump to pull the waste through the construction next doors sewer line from the building and conducted a line.

I spoke with Steve and he advised me that when Palmers cannot fix the pump that determine what they can do for me and I want to return to Small giant. This morning I spoke from Palmers from Palmers and he advised me that Steve has to change the pump out and get a charge from you . I am spending. I am not sure why Steve is telling me to return to you, I have been working in circles for 2 days! He's still coming up with ways to get money. I can see in the reviews he's a pariah. Can somebody please assist me. I do not know what to do. I want to make sure that this pump is suitable for a one bedroom unit. I only have one tenant who resides there. Is there anyway I can go around Steve to get this pump?
If I could give these men a negative star I would.
The pump that I originally purchased was from Home Depot. When I began having issues with the pump about 6 months later I contacted Atomic Rooter at Norwalk Ct and had them come out. The advised that the line charged me the line to clear and was blocked. That the problem came back when Steve advised me that the pump which I purchased from Home Depot wasn't any good and that's. I purchased a pump from Steve installed $1,153.00. It's worth mentioning Atomic Rooter stole. This is the mindset of the people at Atomic Rooter.

Small Giant is a GREAT COMPANY! They sent me a replacement pump in the email and I got a decent plumber to install it. Steve from Atomic Rooter was assumed to charge me and install a pump for he wished to bill me. Thank God I had the sense to go round him. I wouldn't return to Atomic Rooter if somebody paid me ! Plumbing service !!!

I began having the problems a week, my boyfriend George had his company come back out and known as Steve. Steve charged me $185.00 for a service call and advised us to take the pump to Palmers Electric Motors and Pumps at Norwalk CT.. My boyfriend chose the pump to Norwalk in which it tested fine still did not get the job done, when it was re-installed. The technician from Palmers researched to discover that the pump does not work when it is submerged and came out. He said the pumps has to be replaced and we should return Atomic Rooter and have them replace it and they will be charge by Little Giant.

Don't use this company. I would like to tell you exactly what happened but I feel intimidated by the proprietor. Suffice it to state that they way overcharged for something that could have been done for less than half the cost and the owner is a jerk. Go with another place - . Get more than one quote and do not let anybody fool you.

Both gentlemen who came over to do the install were fantastic. They were experienced veterans who couldn't have been nicer and know what they were doing. We were in with the new and out with the old in one hour flat. Could not have been simpler.

When our hot water heater started to really go, I knew it was only a matter of days before it flooded out. I've heard those nightmare stories. So my wife and burned up the internet I did lots of research and called lots of the stores such as Lowe's, Home Depot, Sears as well as some builders. Everybody needed to charge an arm and a leg to get setup and you don't find quality heaters to select from. Nothing appeared to fit our budget or time.
Somehow, my wife found Atomic Rooter at Norwalk and we said why not attempt Connecticut we've tried in Westchester. Steve told us he have it set up by the afternoon and can get precisely what we wanted and answered our phone. We couldn't believe our luck. He gave a estimate that is very reasonable, he was able to find an water heater that is even greater whenever they offer in the big box stores and do it! Who's Far Better than Steve!

I've to explain that this review is accurate. It's for the support that they failed on 5/2/16 in Norwalk, CT. My spouse was in the home with our toddler. 2 men from Atomic Rooter came. They refused to give quote. My wife let them did exactly the task was shocked to be billed $200 for minutes of work and described below. And being surrounded by 2 big men, my wife gave up the cash and finally felt intimidated. Avoid at all price!
Atomic Rooter commented because my location in Yelp was in CA that this review is for the wrong company. I've moved to CT months but haven't bothered to update my Yelp account.

These guys did the work right and stayed until it was completed. At the night's end, the drains have been clean throughout the house, I had a video of my sewer line, and no questions that there would be difficulties later on. They stayed and made sure I was up and running. Couldn't recommend them highly.

We called in a crisis once we discovered our sump pump in the cellar had stopped working and we had an inch of water covering the floor. We were told that it would take up to an hour after we called but Steve arrived about 10 minutes. He replaced our sump pump and the water began draining off. He was quite nice and very effective, even given the late hour (10 pm) that we called him. I would highly recommend Steve and Atomic Rooter.

We had a bad clog on the sewer line and we called anther named plumber. They came and couldn't find out the issue. And the problem wasn't fixed although we spent thousands of dollars. Sewer backed out 3-4 times into our floor's bathroom. I called Steve and he arrived on the morning of the next day. They used the jet and snake. And by the snake movie the found out the place of the clogging area. After digging, it is where the issue is. It turns out our sewer line didn't hooked to the town server lineup. A foot difference is between. Our problem finally solved. I would recommend the company to other men and women.

Reliable and have gotten the work done. I believe we've used them 2-3 times by now with sinks and toilets. They were on time, came the moment or another. I appreciated advice on what has to be repaired and that which I could hold from for now. I would strongly recommend.

This is a great service. We've used them. Once you call them, they are extremely prompt in getting back to you. Every time we have called them, they have sent someone. We've been pleased with the job they do, although prices are a little on the other hand. Their staff are extremely polite, and they take good care to be neat round the house. When you've got a significant plumbing problem, the main thing is getting someone out to the house quickly, and getting the problem when they leave resolved. We've been satisfied on both counts.

Phone call that is returned was pronto out of AtomicRooter - . Tried to fix a couple of times on my own (unclog the spout? ) ) To no avail. They were over the day. . .said we want a new faucet. They were back with the part, everything is awesome.
Owner called back to ask if things were okay...I am happy and will certainly work with them again. It is good to work with contractors that do care about their customers and are prompt.

I've known the owner Steve for years and his business is reliable and gets the work done. Do not waste your time call these guys first. I live in FL now and want he did work here!
