GPI plumbing helped us when we're promoting our condo, organized by means of a realtor. They have never come through with an emergency petition.
First time we called was winter on a holiday weekend. I figured it was because they are occupied but on-call never reached back out. As we are out of town called today asking to check out a leak. No call back. In the event you need emergency reply, appear elsewhere.
Came back to get the our sewage line was suspended, on a Sunday! Telephone GPI and Sean came out over a couple hours.He unclogged the line and we could utilize our bathrooms again. Very professional and friendly.

Having arrived at our recently acquired cabin at Tahoe-Donner we found that taps and the water heater weren't working or leaking. Danny did a excellent job of everything and arrived within 30 minutes of our phone. I understand he was working outside his shift to do so. He has also been a source on a number of things including the process. I can not say enough good things about the GPI service.
The plumber (Danny) was addressed the problem and that I was impressed that he had the parts in his truck to be able to fix it. I was glad it had been repaired on a weekend!
I had a flow that needed immediate work - otherwise'd have to switch off the water to the home until repaired. Called GPI on a Saturday and they returned my phone in an hour. It was left by them to our location in an hour as promised.
As it turned off since the water shutoff valve of our cabin broke called on Wednesday 1/28/15. . .left message together with answering support. I called back again when I did not get a call back a few hours after. Danny said he would have Thursday John check it out and called back. So I wait and call again Thursday afternoon and John says that he took a look and that I want a new valve to turn water under the home but I want to wait for Danny to call me back with a quotation....no call, left yet another message Thursday and today is Saturday and no call back, no quote, being we have no water whatsoever at our location I cannot believe how unprofessional this company is. How can reviews be good....Ridiculous.
My bathroom leaked at 3 a.m. on a Friday, and that I predicted GPI at 7 pm on Saturday. Danny arrived to mend it that day and called back. He was super friendly and quite professional. He explained the problem fixed and clearly it quickly.
GPI is the very best example of a"contractor" company I have dealt with. Quick call springs, on-time prices and friendly.
He took the time to reveal what failed and I could replace itself if it failed .
So the people answering the phone aren't with GPI FYI, GPI includes a 24-hour answering service which answers all calls whatever the day or day of this week and forwards the calls.
The second task, after getting the estimate, I asked Danny (the owner) to replace two hose bibs. Not only did he do them in addition, he fixed a pressure relief valve on my water heater he saw on his own which was awful. While my occupation was large (underground water distribution line replacement) maybe there was enough profit to throw at the other material for free. I could with nearly 100% confidence say there would have been an extra few hundred, if it were anybody else additional to the invoice.
I have used GPI Plumbing three times and they've been great. I always get a quick return call and they've always been on time. That. I'm not a full time resident at Truckee getting contractors that react promptly to calls and arrive when scheduled are important to me.
Called GPI with emergency plumbing issue at cabin in Tahoe Donner. Danny taught me how to resolve the issue on my own to get a part!! and called back I call GPI at the long run for plumbing issues - .
Guy was nice enough-- support call of $95 BUCKS for 15 mins to tell me that the engine was burnt out for my garbage disposal-- needed $400 to install a brand new disposal-- AND THEY WERE ONE HOUR LATE WITH NO CALL-- 2 stars ONLY because the service guy was nice
People recommeded GPI plumbing to me personally. They have a good reputation around town. I explained the problem and phoned in. I got a call back from one of the plumbers named 19, after getting into contact with their workplace. Chris did not listen well once I clarified the problem (a leaky marriage in my water box near the pressure regulator) and insisted on looking prior to making an estimate (a $100 charge). . His attitude during the telephone call was that I was a bother and a nuisance, which is surprising to me as somebody who works in a service market. You want to be wonderful. It sounded like that, and the rest of GPI plumbing proved too occupied tofix my leaky pipe. I did not invite Chris around to work on my leaky pipe, which is the reason I've given these three stars. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that perhaps it was a lousy day for Chris, or perhaps my experience was from the ordinary to them. Regardless, they would be chosen by me if I did not now know of a better plumber. There must be some reason why there business is performing well...
