Hot water expired, or was leaking. I talked to Josh on the phone at 10am and by 2 pm had a brand new gas water heater all hooked up and ready to go.
Good service at a reasonable price.

The plumber left a huge mess for us if he was completed, to wash up and has been rude. He was angry at all when he couldn't get his large rooter machine through our house to our tank. He was able to drag a unit that is smaller through our house and run it but he left boot prints and puddles at the house. He pushed our brand-new garden hose up the sewer line along with the left the hose filthy with sewage. He also called the landlord and told him we'd been putting down things the septic like wipes and cotton balls of which we use - . We were happy to have our system working but, man, this dude was a one angry, dirty and rude person.

I never heard back from my plumber. Watkins Plumbing will be my regular plumber that is new.
I had a broken main waterline to my home. I tried calling my"regular" plumber but only got his voicemail. I have done a search and found Watkins Plumbing. Owner Richard Watkins and I placed a call and spoke. Richard said he'd be out in one hour after describing the problem. Richard worked a few hours and obtained a temporary water line to the home for the evening in service. Sunday morning, the following day, Richard was back at 8AM to finish the job.
Richard was friendly, professional and very methodical . We saved a few hundred dollars and rear fill work.

$660 to fix a leak my spouse had dug out ($198 per hour plus parts). Slowest repair job ever, multiple smoke fractures and plumber described the delay as him being"methodical." Charged for three hours for what could have been done in half that time, and that was with my spouse helping (former building mechanic, currently handicapped ) that the whole time. Senior citizen Vietnam Vet, fixed income could not finish the fix himself due or we would have spared the 660. We will be sure we let everyone we know understand about how we were taken advantage of, and will never use this company again.

Okey, so after our first review about our first trip from Richardwe got excited about the possibilities, particularly because he pointed out last time that we could only buy an
trimming kit to your shower head, temp regulator and faucet provided that it was the exact same brand (the unwell valves are different per producer, we ought to be able to perform this upgrade work ourselves as it had no in wall pipes if we used the exact same brand. So we did that. Then we found that the temp regulator and bathtub spout were a different brand then the present (my bad) and he could not get it to attach to the current inwall plumbing. So, business coming tomorrow... called Richard, clarified the problem. He was convinced that he had parts and trimming for the switch thingie and the spout. He was finishing up a project and advised he would come over soon. Did the job on the spot. This man is wonderful. Very fair pricing for pipes and parts. Once we attach the dressing table, We'll continue on with Richard for another phase of the remodel!

We chose Watkins Plumbing to Set up a Water Heater, along with an Instant Hot Water Recirculating System. We are permanent customers of Watkins Plumbing.
Our thanks to Richard for working together with us on setting up the project, and particularly for getting Mike come out to perform the job. The work product of mike is the finest we have come across. We are more than pleased with how they both took such excellent care of us.

Showed up fast once I had a water leak, my plumber was out of town. Very over priced..it wasn't an emergency call or on a weekend. .charged an extra $180 since he had to go beneath the house??? Are not most pipes UNDER the house....it was a quick easy fix which could have cost me $150 from my plumber. . I was charged nearly $500. .because I'm female. .then my Co employee came in stated her elder mothers hot water heater went out..she called initial plumber in book. . .charged her $1500. . .never again. . I will close off the water go into a motel and await my plumber!

For being awesome Now Watkins takes the cake. Last week our hot water tank died. It was not a shock. . .Watkins told us 2 years ago it was on its last leg..we simply waited too long. Instead of calling Watkins, we chose to try the installation services of the giant orange large box store....huge mistake. Someone came 10 hours later to inform us he couldn't fix it or replace it before we agreed to allow him to upgrade all our gas and water lines to deliver up to code drain pan, and valves. Estimated prices were $1500-$1800. And obviously it was too late to get it done now and might have to order. A few choices tried .
They had someone here to estimate prices in less than an hour. He found he could upgrade us to a bigger tank and that yes we needed some updates to bring it all up to code, however not if the water lines were everything needed to be replaced as much code and fine. Within 3 hours by the time we phoned them we had a brand-new tank, valves and pipes replaced at $700 less than the other quote. Was quick and really nice. We will never use another plumber . After having had enough of showers and boiling water to do the dishes Watkins was called by us. Our Heros.
I cannot recommend this place . They have been affordable, prompt, courteous and We've used them previously for minor plumbing emergencies and we have never been charged over their price even less than estimated. While generating the estimated price, they take some opportunity to describe why and what they need to perform. They are also very accurate in their estimates, we have not paid more than expected.

Richard was terrific. He reacted super quickly to my service request, was professional, polite, and did excellent work that was rapid I desired. I'd refer him to everybody.

Finest Plumber in Oroville, they always answer. The next day the work was completed. Folks, I'll use them over and over!

We had been having some trouble using our water heater and Watkins Plumbing sent someone out (to Paradise) the same day. We ended up needing a new water heater (which we purchased and ended up replacing ourself) plus they DIDNT charge us for a service call. We will definately keep our business here, if needed in the future.
