I had water pressure in my house unexpectedly and I did not have a particular plumber to call, so I checked the plumber out in Home Advisor, Kulk's Plumbing. Not only did they arrive on time; they also fixed the problem immediately. I would strongly recommend their expertise and their professionalism!

This was my first experience with Kulk's. I had a favorable experience and had used another plumber this past year, however, they seemed to be overpriced as well as testimonials agreed.
Yesterday I predicted and the receptionist was attentive and really helpful. She was quick to put me and got all of my information. I stated it was not a hurry but she stated"that you need to have hot water!"
I will use them again and recommend them to my friends in the area.
The price was reasonable and Richard was thorough on finishing the work, though because it was the end of the work day on Friday, the office was pressing for him to finish up.
Richard came at the designated time slot schedule. He was courteous funny and informative . One of my components was cracked and the other was caked in minerals. He gave me tips.
UPDATE! After the work done I had a trickle from the boiler drain. He capped the drain and charged me nothing. I am really impressed by this business with them so far!
Since that first visit where they replaced about 14 aging angle ceases, they've unclogged a sink (required two visits - the second they didn't charge me because they want to do the job right), mounted shower heads, new bathrooms, a sink, and even a brand new pump. During they've given me sound advice and OPTIONS, which are always great to have.
Being a brand new homeowner at a brand-new area, it was hard to discover a reliable plumber. I'd Heating and Daka Plumbing and they lost their notes. Jim Beyer refused to even give me a quote.
Kulk's enough can't be recommended by me! I wish I could locate professionals in different regions that are this reliable.
What a day and night experience with Kulk's! John gave sound guidance and was within a couple of hours of getting the telephone. The rates are fair since the quality of work is actually high, I think it's a fantastic value. Other people complaining on here do not know the price of plumbing work. Kulk's are professionals and deserve.
Kulk's about two leaks were called by me I had in the home the day and they sent out their plumber - so response time was exceptional and receptionist was super friendly. He managed put some silicone on it and to figure out where one of the leaks was coming from. I requested him to substitute flapper and a fill valve on the bathroom. This was it. He had been here for over 30 minutes. My bill? $302. I really don't think they never told me any of their pricing upfront and it's fair at all.
I arrived home to a gushing water heater, and they are the first ones that I called. The response time was great. The quote to the heater & installation- shockingly high. I had a friend help me to shut off everything until he arrived. I managed to receive two quotes that night, which were reasonable. Happily I managed to get it replaced the morning & saved the additional $500.
He wanted to charge $500.00 to buy and install a bathroom. I called his distributor and they said the cost of the bathroom is 217.00 for anybody. That would be an installation charge of $283.00- a complete rip offf for 30 seconds operate. He gave me a card that was a refrigerator magnet with cooking conversions and substitutions.
Kulk's pipes will not be called by me again as I feel their rates are very high and the customer service was not professional.
Owner arrived to mend two clogged toilets and billed 216.00. It took 15 minutes It was a reduction from $240. He was argumentative, providing advice about California property taxation stating they had been the same as New York. No, they are nearly 2x greater ( I just moved here from CA.)
Was very pleased with my encounter with Kulk's. I called them once I had a issue with water not draining from my fittings. They called it was a problem with the waste line linking my house. We scheduled a time to allow them to encounter, and they arrived exactly on time. Since it ended up I'd tree roots growing into the line, causing blockages, they were correct in their concept. They cleared it after great effort (was likely decades of growth), and with a distant camera showed me exactly what the problem was, and how it was now clear. Their price for the job was fair, and they cleaned up nicely after their job.
First I have to say he responded within a hour. He did my brand new water line in my house to the well which was 150 ft. He did it for half the price of any other estimate I got. Will continue to keep his telephone number and will probably be my first call for pipes issue. John M
WOW ! ! ! To poor Mr. Kulk is Not Able to return to Westchester County. He answered the phone promptly and I called because I am on the lookout for a plumber that was new and was polite and professional. Mr. Kulk referred me to Tri-County Plumbing and stated he knew their work and they would be a fantastic fit for me personally. Thank you Mr. Kulk!
I needed a plumber, quickly, to fix a leaking toilet. I also had another toilet that needed a furnace which needed to be serviced and a replacement part. After reading the positive reviews on Yelp, I phoned Kulk's P&H about 8:30 a.m., talked briefly to John about what I needed and he had his repairman, Craig, in my home in less than houroutstanding! Craig did an superb job; he explained why and what needed to be done, and was really friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and kept me apprised every step of the way. By lunchtime, the work was done, and Craig left the area in good shape. Thanks to John for being really receptive and customer-oriented and to Craig to get a job well done!
Fantastic service! Knowledgeable very. Explained every step along the way. Can use his services I recommend highly
I was disappointed with Kulk. I call him leaking. He also substituted a filter, and tested the series. He charged me $348 for it, which can be a complete rip off. Unreal. I told him that the cost was too high, and he would not hear it, he said"you win some and you lose some, and with this one I lost". This is no where worth $348.00. He was so fine and agreeable, I was truly shocked how far he ripped off us for. He was paid by me, but we will never use him again nor recommend him. I think he charged us extra and he had a helper, so he probably charged for 2 guys, and it wasn't a 2 man job. I also told him my husband get the knob, he said no and since he needed to leave to run a personal errand and would go to the shop. When I questioned him on the cost he said he charged us for 2 trips. Firsthe needed to leave to get a personal errand, and next, I told him my husband would go get the knob. This was a part of the ploy to control a ridiculous quantity of money to get a minor fix.
John is a professional. His job is good with no ripoff attempts. His rates are fair than when he began, and he renders the place neater.
What can you say? Friendly, quick and expert service on my water heater replacement. Kulk's is highly recommended by me.
They did a variety of things. They did a fantastic job on everything and all for a price. John also did a fantastic job of describing what he needed to do and what the issue was. If you go together I am certain you'll be happy with the ceremony, the cost and the job.
Through the years, many tradesmen work and come in the church buildings with varying consequences as a parish priest I've had. I had some work done on my property. I contacted a few plumbers and interviewed all of them. I was impressed with his approach to solving a range of issues and John Kulk's knowledge. He seemed on the day agreed upon with his Mike. They began to work instantly and laid their equipment and materials out. So there were not any breaks, None are smokers. . .just diligent work. My Carpenter commented how good they were and did my electrician. They finished the roughing and intend to return to set up the fittings. I was in a coordination bind. I needed each of the transactions to come in sequential order for the gas fired fireplace. John did not even ask for cash and came all the way here, did his part of the job and made time. I cannot praise him enough to work ethic, his knowledge, and attitude.
