Excellent encounter with Durance. Kirk was responsive with providing me a quotation (within a few hours through their website contact form), and even more impressively, they honored the quotation despite the fact that the job ended up becoming more involved/taking more time than they anticipated. Adam was the person who did the job, and he was friendly, prompt, courteous, and competent. My experience was really good I wholeheartedly wait writing this review because the more popular Durance becomes, the harder (and more expensive) it is to reserve them for future endeavors!

When he said he'd, walter arrived, he worked efficiently and quickly. All these are attributes that I look for in support suppliers, we will use him again when necessary.

We did not try to up sell us, and picked Durance because they were reasonably priced, a little business, and got three estimates for the job identified from our home inspection. We were also treated by them with respect, which is greater than I can say for a different company who provided one of the estimates. We ended up getting a new water heater instead of the repairs and upselling ourselves. We felt just like Adam was honest. The job was done fairly and well.

There are great things to say about Adam Bell and his apprentice Matt. They're the best, most conscientious and knowledgeable tradesmen I have ever come across. They go well beyond the typical level to achieve client satisfaction. With them today regarding a repair spoke. They took a great deal of time helping me understand the problem and the best answers and had been extremely helpful. They really recommended a type of contractor. In general, a very good experience.

I had been so impressed that I requested Durance Plumbing put in a new water heater and to come back.
Adam came ahead of schedule. When did a contractor even arrive on time? He replaced our three toilets . Adam is quite friendly and is there to help you. I asked him also to repair three taps which were not a part of the first job, since he had been there. Again finished.
This company definitely rates more than five stars.

More than a month ago, we requested a quote for replacing our water heater with a one. We figured we would beat the holiday rush, etc.. Not with this company.
So, folks, if they're too busy for a $5000 occupation, they're probably too active for the toilet
He did return to examine the current water heater & gas lines. Then - radio silence. No cost quote, no follow up. I called to ask when we would be getting the quote. His partner told us Adam would call us back. This morning, Seemingly a glutton for punishment, I called again. No excuse for why we didn't get the quote or return telephone an apology. "Apparently we are too busy to do this."
Adam showed up 1/2 hour for our service telephone abandoned when nobody answered the door. (My husband was in the shower.) Showing up early is good, however I'd expect a service provider before departing to wait till the time. We didn't figure out until we called to find out why he was a no-show in the scheduled time, what had occurred. Apparently Durance expects one to take a seat in the ready for the entire day of your appointment. Don't go to the bathroom! Don't take a shower! Don't walk the puppy! Wait. By. The.Door.Or.Else!

I read the reviews here on Yelp and decided to reach out to Durance. Not five minutes later leaving a voicemail, I got a call and a consultation on the day I had chosen. I didn't catch his name got a follow up reminder the day before and also the gentleman, seemed bright and early and got to work. He explained what had to be performed and got to it. He took a quick look at a bath faucet I had and suggested the role be replaced- as it would be costly suggested I try to contact the manufacturer if they could replace it for me.
I had been getting reminders out of WSSC about backflow prevention testing. Turns out I have a non testable apparatus and the part needs to be replaced every five years. It'd come upon our home review but I had forgotten to get it cared for. I selected a competitor and consulted the list on WSSC website for companies to work together. That competition was responsive but didn't have the part together gave me a quote that is large to replace.
I left for work but my husband told me the part was labeled and a statement was abandoned when the WSSC came after me so that I would be set! So I'm not 100% sure, I am pretty sure they contacted WSSC for me but I wasn't there. All I can say is I'm extremely pleased with the customer service- professional and prompt and got the work done in one trip for a portion of the price the competitor was attempting to squeeze from me. If you would like the job done properly and for a great price, this is actually the plumber to hire! I called them after I was disappointed by the empty promises that I received from a different company. I heard that this is a two-man show and called. I described the issue and felt comfortable with all the diagnosis. My basement drain that was clogged was snaked and opened. The price was discussed over the phone and also there were NO HIDDEN COST. The icing on the cake, the plumber was polite amazing and personable. Hirethem, you'll be happy you did!

He was exceptional. I scheduled an appointment, had him come outside and look at our issue. Not merely did he immediately address our issues, but he also went out of his way to point out problems that may take place later on (old home, previous Poor work, anyhow ). At no time did he try to up-sell me push on work that is extra. I'd use him again. Very reasonable prices too. Look no plumbers that are exceptional here.

Kirk showed up from the window that is agreed, was responsive, and also fixed the disposal and disposal in 30 minutes.

Great. Fair plumbers that are superior and pricing. Takoma are known by them and and were fantastic.
Adam came to our home to replace our water lines that were galvanized. The project ended up becoming more ambitious than was initially anticipated, but Adam worked through the weekend, explained everything he was doing and he do it and maintained our home as clean as you can while performing the work.

Just completed our hot water heater replacement. The job was due to plumbing and a space, however they cranked through and did a fantastic job. Thanks!

Came home to a puddle and no water at the bottom of the hot water heater. The Durance team was able to diagnose and resolve the matter in under three hours and showed up on time the next day. They shut off valve and realized that the water tank still worked properly and the leak came with an expansion tank. This saved us a considerable amount of the repairs and money pro-longed the life of system and the water tank. The plumbers were courteous and professional and even worked around the toys in my children's playroom! Certainly recommend them for any plumbing work.

I was impressed by Durance plumbing. We had difficulty finding an honest and reliable plumber, after moving into a new house. Lately we reached out to Durance to help us with a tap installation. Despite busy program and a heavy workload, Kirk was able to squeeze us did the job quickly and professionally for a fair price. He was a joy to talk with and get to know. We're happy to now have a plumber we can trust going forward.

Before the house had been set to begin, A townhouse I rent and currently have, was up for sale and one hour, we noticed that a portion of the basement carpet was moist and realized that a pipe into an exterior faucet had leaked. After phoning 4 plumbers who were recommended to us by friends, some of who were not open on a Saturday or couldn't see me for a week, I discovered Durance on Yelp. I left. He told me he can send Adam first thing Monday morning and gave me a 1-hour time period as opposed.

Told me exactly what he was going to do and was quite diligent about cleaning up and not leaving a mess. He helped me move some of my renters' furniture and electronics that has been in/near area was ruined by the water and even helped the ruined, wet carpeting rolls back so I could dry out the floor.

Check out some slow drains and I just purchased a house and wished to get a plumber come and look.
We had a gas dryer delivered the day before, so I had him put in it rather than getting the delivery men to do it. Durance was cheaper and I'm sure than I would have gotten with all the men did a better job. Also he gave a look that was fantastic and aided to answer inquiries and provide his opinion on issues across the house.
