Having a full house of kids, just could not wait until Monday. Called B&W expecting to pay a fortune for a Sunday morning visit. The first thing the operator stated was that there was no extra fee. Couldn't believe it. Once the invoice was paid by me but it was true.
Glen got here over the hour after about an hourhe believed it was fixed. He even ran to the hardware store to pick up a part. It was not fixed, so that he had to open up it again. Until my sink was fixed, but he stuck with it.
Thanks so much.

We called them to repair a burst pipe following the most recent deep freeze in Washington. While the response was good - that they charged us for two quite expensive service calls for a issue and have customer service.
On the good front - we had they could send someone that night to repair the pipe and a pipe burst on a Saturday night. After putting back the siding up I asked Glen if it had been an issue and noticed some dripping. He told me it it was likely just the insulating material leaking and that it wasn't an issue. The fee for the pipe repair was $300 and a weekend service charge (that I expected and was warned about).
On the lousy front - the following morning, I noticed a significant amount of dripping from the exact same spot in the house. I found that the pipe inches in the pipe repaired before also leaked after opening the access again. I cared for it and came back out, decided that the pipe needed to be cut and replaced, and phoned again. Apparently because the pipe was a second pipe, Blake & Wilcox treated it and charged me.
While the work was fine, the encounter was terrible and they've charged me almost $1,000 for 2 fixes that are simple.
I called the following day (Monday) to inquire about the next charge and clarify that I believed the two problems were associated. After a dialog that became antagonistic, the manager who I spoke with accused me of lying about the issue. He consented to explore the problem and phone me back. I haven't received a call after a week, but Blake & Wilcox has charged me.
