A predicament, to be sure, as we tried to determine where we would shower until we could find a replacement. We contacted 4 Star dependent on the significant number of excellent Yelp reviews, as luck would have it.
Its name should change since it is that. My initial contact was with Janet, and I was shortly also dealing with Alex and Andrew on the telephone. By texting them photographs, and with Andrew volunteering to take care of our construction management office to pay for the license and insurance difficulties, we could get a commitment to install the brand new water heater that same day. Dave showed up for the installment at the guaranteed time, and we were the proud owners of a brand-new functioning water heater.
The should call a plumber is an experience in life like needing to go to the dentist with a toothache. You would rather not have to. However, this firm was a joy. They were actually one of three plumbers we predicted highly rated. One couldn't commit to installation in less than a week, yet another couldn't commit to a time period, then we lucked out with 4 Star. My wife and I both would highly recommend this exceptional business. Actually, I believe we did.
From our very first contact with Janet, we believed that 4 Star was totally sympathetic to our requirement for action that was fast. Every one of those four people we dealt with was capable anxious, and prepared to do anything it took for us a new water heater pronto. Dave's installment was clean and prompt, and that he was a nice guy. He took a peek at my request at our dishwasher and gave us any advice on that issue.

Prepare to pay a minimum of $165. They don't quote over the phone. The technician to come out is free, which is good because some cost. Plumbing is pricey. I have yet to find a company or solo man that does it for a price that is fair.
On a brighter note... I've used 4 Star multiple times because they don't add unnecessary fees inflating the bill. They're always on friendly and time. Their work is professional and clean. They do deserve 5 stars.

One of their work vans was in the midst of a junction - saw me and cut off me instantly once I approached causing me to slam on my brakes and straight from the way. I am not certain they would drive quite like this using their business name. If their client service reflects their ability I'd stay away.

Since the valve in the spigot in the outside of our home collapsed we had a flow. My husband tried to fix it but when he understood the task was too difficult; he predicted 4 Star Plumbing service. It was on a Sunday night, and because Monday was Presidents' Day we feared that the service call could be astronomical. We had been provided a quote that sounded fair and we had been advised a plumber would be out the next day, (and that he'd call first so we might make sure someone would be home.) .
We got the call Monday afternoon, and in roughly 45 minutes Bob, the plumber, was at our door. He was friendly and I felt comfortable with him work on our home. He began right off and had everything he had to fix the situation. Overall he was out and in in less than an hour when he introduced us it was just under what we had been quoted. He did not try to sell us anything else....just out and in, fixing the flow for a fair price.

Called and they shipped Carlos out in less than 2 hours. Pricing is about 25 percent less than comparable quotes. Carlos is very professional & worked with mepersonally, as I am physically disabled, through this and game me the warm fuzzies that I was being treated fairly and with respect. Greater than 1 hour & violla! Install & replacements done... cleanly. Because men

We hired them to substitute cast iron drain lines. They worked on a really aggressive schedule and provided competitive prices. Jeff and David are knowledgeable especially concerning offering practical advice on plumbing problems. Carmen is amazing at the procedure and works in the office.
We hired them for a separate job --our water heater was installed by Alex. We're very satisfied with them.

I've used them and their rates are almost always outrageous. This time they charged me $186 to change a valve at the toilet out. It took 28 minutes. And for a few of that he had been talking into the office since I complained about the purchase price. They charged me for 30 minutes worth of work over $175. Last time I use them.

Fast forward to this weekend, I was having a small bbq at my house and the toilets started backing up, and water began to come up at the bath and showers, we tried to fix it but it became obvious that it needed professional attention, so I called 4 star and was told that a Technician would be at my location in an Hour, that was SUNDAY and considered an Emergency since I needed to find out someone right away so there is a flat fee of $125 just to find someone out but allow me to tell you, when your bathrooms are flooding this quick service is very handy, the technician was at my location as promised within the hour and then fixed the matter.
I have been dealing with many different home service firms since purchasing my new house, and I am very impressed with 4 Star's service and timeliness, they show up when they say they will and do the job, that is more than I could say for the majority of the other firms I have been dealing with. Mention that you found them Yelp and get 10 percent off your services.
I have learned so might as well have someone do it correctly that Pipes isn't affordable. I just moved into my new house and needed to find things fixed to fulfill my Home Insurance, so I took to Yelp to try to find a Plumbing service and known as 4 Star Plumbing Services based on the reviews. Not only was that the technician on time but he did a very thorough job, the Main shut off valve leaked, and all the fittings and plumbing changed and substituted up the entire set. It wasn't cheap but that I feel that 4 Star is very aggressive and Plumbing services aren't, and I enjoyed that the problem patched up and not only was replaced.

I called 4 Star Plumbing near the close of the day, also had a leak in a bathroom sink. I was leaving town the next morning, and inquired if they can do a service call in the last minute. They were accommodating, professional, and Carlos was my house in an hour - he was great and fixed the issue. I will use 4 Star Plumbing in the future, and would recommend anybody to feel confident in using them too.

David the plumber was on time and professional. He explained the problem for me and explained what he could do to fix it. He gave me a price up front together with all the 10% off discount and the price didn't alter once he was finished, which was one hour. That is fast. Thank you again 4 Star Services. I will recommend your company.

Horrible dependability. I contacted them about a flow in my master bath, the guy came outside, cut holes in my interior and exterior wall and left, declaring he'd be back the following day at noon (Wednesday). No one revealed or even contacted me the following day (Thursday), despite my leaving a key under the mat and the alert off. The day after that, I texted the owner at 5pm (Friday) and asked what was happening and he said he'd send someone Monday. I replied as I had now had a major leak for a leak, that was unacceptable and used machinery that was rented to keep things dry. He said the following day, he'd send someone then but no one showed. Avoid the hassle and headache, not to mention the price and prevent this provider.

I contacted 4 Star Plumbing Services . They needed $400 to replace the washing machine drain pipe. I contacted the other plumber who finished the work within 10 minutes at a fraction of that price. Was clear out the tub drain during which time they scratched up the tub with the equipment since they did not put down anything to protect the tub while working. The plumber finished some thing, at least and has been nice.

Excellent, professional and very responsive. Carlos ended up solving another issue while he was still here and came to fix a toilet leak. Visit took about 60-90 min. I would definitely recommend them.

I know that it's never good to have some thing break down in your house, but I know I will rely to do it correctly, when I have some problems associated with plumbing. They're always on time, very professional, and operate very effectively. Special shout out to Alex Alvarez who is always pleasant and great at what he wants and friendly even though he is probably really tired from all of the running around he has to perform. My garbage disposal was leaking (it's very old) Alex was here on time and got the job done in less than one hour. 4 Star is not the provider out there but my time is precious to me and knowing I don't have to sit around wondering if it is going to get done correctly and waiting for them to appear, is worth it. You do get what you pay for and, in this situation, it was worthwhile. Perhaps they ought to consider changing their name to"5 Star" Plumbing depending on the review I am providing. Thanks Alex!!!

Called them a year or two back and had no answer. Called back and there was a woman obscure if she was going to call me back . She did. She handled the call wrong, although I think they were understaffed or busy at the time. I was skeptical about there real office hours when she could not even schedule me until the next day or 10PM.
I am shocked they have good reviews on here. Usually if a local business return calls or doesn't pick up it implies they are fly-by-nights.

4Star Plumbing Specialist Alex Alverez did an amazing job with replacing my old faucet I couldn't eliminate. Alex installed the faucet better that when we had the original installed with the bathroom. .
I discovered them to be somewhat more pricey than some plumbing services, but you never know what you may get. Peace of mind and you understand you don't have any fear of a job and a great guarantee.
Would recommend to anyone.

I was very satisfied with the service I obtained from 4 Star Plumbing and Eduardo. I had and Eduardo arrived in a couple of hours calling 4 Star. The cost was a little higher than anticipated for the installment, however he did two other bibbs in precisely the exact same time in a cost, so total the value was great. He finished the job and it looks like a quality job. I am very delighted with the organization and Eduardo's professionalism.

For an appointment, 4 star plumbing can't even appear in average South Florida Fashion. I had a tank and a tankless water heater equally needing replaced. The very best that they could do was a 5 hour window from 12-5pm on a Tuesday, when I received my appointment. I received a call at 4pm stating there was"only now way I can find any body out there today." They offered to be out here in the morning. I am putting my foot down with out these contractors here. Nobody is becoming my company till an appointment can be honored by them. It is so frustrating to have rearranged my WHOLE day, sat around all afternoon awaiting a PLUMBER who never shows up.

Replacing 2 valves in 20 minutes and charge $330, I would definitively not predict that 4 stars...
