I had a leak and scheduled an appointment with Allen's Plumbing and they declared in the day. I saw that Steve's Plumbing called them and had high reviews and looked online. Jacob made the repairs which looked a whole lot better than the original piping and found the leak. Then I asked he said it was no issue and if he had the time to install. Jacob went back to get the water heater and returned and installed it. The work he did seemed good. Steve's Plumbing is going to be the firm I use from now on when I've a Plumbing issue. They have coupons for discounts on their website.
WARNING!! I appreciate that this problem was resolved but it was not easy and amounted to a lot of unnecessary grief.
Very bad experience, don't call, you will get fleeced. I called to get a water line break. Worker turned the water back on prematurely resulting in his work becoming undone and fittings. He repeated this situation for TWO days! Finally, at 5:30 on Day 2, it held , alas, a segment only a couple - on the pipe- was overlooked.

P.S.: Following weeks of pressure to cover the balance of $800 (I'd been requested to hand a check for half of the estimate of $1600 PRIOR to whatever being done), and me being adamant that I would not pay for a botched job, I eventually received an apology"that I had been neglected" and that I would receive a reimbursement.
I started over, and needed to call yet another, this time an expert plumber, who'd cut out everything that the helper of Steve had completed - !

Steve's Plumbing has been instantaneous in replacing the leaky garbage disposal of our rental condo right away. Our plumber, Jacob was exceptional in most support. Also had Jacob put in shower sprayer and a toilet faucet in our home the same day. Same support. Steve's Plumbing services is highly recommended by me.
Had a slow leak from my bathtub faucet. Called Steve's at 3pm on a Friday afternoon and they sent a tech to inspect. Jacob was amazingly knowledgeable and helpful! Fixed the escape and helped give some information around the installing of the tub we installed. He was efficient, quick and kind.
Sucks we have the plumbing services of Steve. Being upfront, we've never had any issues before so we do not understand how pricing compares to other businesses but we moved back to this company bc of their amazing customer service. Before our technician came outwe regular obtained updates from Rachel Basso/Amaral. We had roots that grew into our pipes so it kept getting clogged:their Ohana program saved us a change that is wonderful and I urge it. Our technician Collin was genuine and friendly. He's we will keep advocating the pipes of Steve and the reason for 5 *'s and utilize them for potential problems however crappy. :P thanks to all!
Forgot to say, if you buy Collin Miller or Jacob. Jacob came the first time we had a situation out and he was quite wonderful.

My upstairs Dual toilet leaked out of the resoiver and irritating the crap out of me. Called to have it repaired. Steve's Plumbing came because the parts for the old toilet would have to be arranged the following day, determined to replace the toilet. Martin (tech guy) replaced both toilets in just two hours. Happy with the occupation, very costly but hey, my toilet is my own castle. Sides, going to Vegas next week and will lose much to show for this. This is what I got, two new toilets

Steve's is absolutely our go-to plumbing firm. We haven't had to use them for a number of years, but wanted their services.
Thiago was their irrigation and leak specialist. He kept in contact through the procedure using electronic leak detection which pinpointed the source. He also discovered some faulty fixes done years earlier which could have caused a significant home flow. He kept me appraised of the costs for time and materials. Ron also did the same. They coordinated making this situation very reassuring from afar. They even sent photos for our records of what they fixed.
We signed up again for their Ohana program to maintain our plumbing needs. Steve's has. We thank them for their Kokua and expertise in tackling this incident, and recommend them without reservation.
Was knowing, considerate, effective and helped us solve our water problem. The staff who answered the phoneCourtney, Val and Cheryl were excellent communicators when their guys are on land confirming. Everything had to be coordinated with our land manager since we had been off island, and it could not have gone.
Anthony and matthew of Steve's Plumbing discovered where the leak was fast. It was a tough job. Really professional. Did a great clean up.
Called Steve's and plumbers arrived a half hour afterwards. Speedy service. Chaun and thiago are pros at what they do. Thiago went through all the options. Plumbers on site were personable and professional. Finished without any issues whatsoever. Highly recommend!
However, my bill claims that they"eliminate the valve, and turn off water supply". I had done that before their arrival.
I was told I needed to purchase their parts.
They took before and after photos. They pulled off the brass compression ring and set the valve . I believed I was overcharged at $144 to get only a few minutes of effort. Therefore, I am not as likely recommend this company simply because of pricing that is high or to phone.

I was pleased that Kaalai and his spouse were able to come sooner than expected during regular business hours. The job was done in about 20 minutes, they were quite professional, and I am grateful.
My kitchen faucet had a leak that is flowing and found another escape under the sink from a corroded pipe. I got no answer and filled out an internet request form. I called and got a message that was recorded. I left a message describing the problem and to call back ASAP. Today is Wednesday and I have yet to get a call backagain. Jobs that are certain are only selected by these guys. NO ALOHA. . .just here to tear Maui people off. I used a Maui plumber that billed only $150 for labour and arrived in half an hour and fixed 4 plumbing issues. 1 star only for their site which makes them seem so great when they aren't.
Excellent service. We bought a forclosed home that had a great deal of work. Called Steve's Pipes and they were able to come out the few days. Jacob was very thorough in his job and concienscious regarding getting the jobs done correctly, meanwhile pointing out of a slow flow in our main water line that he totally redid. We had fixtures replaced being taps in the kitchen, bathrooms, shower heads, toilets. & water heater replaced that was an unforseen problem. Jacob was considerate & took on the last minute work mentioned with elegance & Aloha. I signed up for the Ohana program which gets rid of the fee to visit the home. I would highly recommend Steve's pipes & ask for Jacob. Jacob's explanation for the work was consise it was somewhat about the wallet but you get what you pay for. This provider can also be BBB backed. I plan to go through Steve's pipes . Mahalo Steves Jacob & pipes.
I can not say enough great things about Steve's Plumbing. Rachel responded straight away to my Yelp petition for help with a leaking crap disposal.Then that it wasn't long at all before I got a telephone scheduling me for support that same day. Matthew was my support individual and he was considerate and professional I felt comfortable enough to leave him in my house to finish the job and lock up. He let the dog in and out as well as took some images and sent to me, as I forgot. Go Matthew! Steve's is going to be my go to plumbing service from today on!

I have spoken - regrettably! I won't ever use them. They state they will bill 39.99 to come out but as soon as they arrive, watch out and hang on to your wallet!! They'll take you for 200, to level one. Immediately to degree two for another hundred. After 30 mins, the technician will walk off with 300. Whether he has solved the issue and doesn't even check to find out. He didn't! Dishonest business- never again. Beware!!!
Grossly overpriced. Inferior firm. Do not patronize these folks. Since they pay for them, is. These guys are the biggest rip off ever! A simple $90.00 job will cost you 500 oh and they inform you have all sorts of plumbing problems and it will cost a few thousand dollars to get the work done (the work is only going to take an hour or 2 but but they'll cost you thousands of dollars) I won't ever use these folks again. I don't mind paying for labour but I don't like being taken advantage of. These guys are thieves. Dirty rotten thieves. Do not encourage them and their antics. Take a stance! DO NOT USE STEVE'S. Steve you need to be ashamed of yourself ripping people off how you do. I am disgusted by you.
If I could give 10 celebrities to Louis, he would get it from me! He is honest and a solid professional that is so unusual around here! Colin Miller, with Steve's Plumbing, did a great job in repairing our water hammer dilemma. He's considerate friendly and educated within his profession. All the employees at Steve's Plumbing to whom I'd connected with are Kathy, professionals , Cheryl, Roger, the District Supervisor. We'll definitely use their services again. They're reliable unlike Roto Rooter who never returned messages and neglected to deliver. Steve's Plumbing have earned my confidence!!!
