Forget it. PRICEY FOLKS only made $125 from me and I have cold and warm water valves never switched.
I believe it away for them to spend 5 mins & bill $29 after a quick visual check or $ 125 if anything opens up! Still no assurance it can fixed and gave me another quotation.
No cost first of all. It is what it is. I had cold and hot switched in two of shower valves so was quoted $350 in the trip. $29 fee for them to come out and tell me was waived. But they weren't able to do it tell me that they can not take action unless they split tiles and wall using a quote of $1890 and to start up one of those units was $125. (This does not include me finding a bathroom renovation contractor to redesign the tile work).
--upgrade 8/20/2019 - Maureen at this provider is super nice and understanding. She asked if she could repay the amount charged and called me to learn what happened. Also offered to send a senior plumber free of cost to find out if my problem is fixable. Their customer service is appreciated by me.
May have professional type timely mannered technicians and admins and reviews however PRICE TO PAY.

But here I am, in paid in using a $500 deposit and good faith, on the telephone with them to describe the unfairness. I managed to take an image of this truck, which states'our job is guaranteed'. Waited to get a call from his supervisor, but he never called me back...
Day one:

A different guy comes for the"hydro jet" evaluation...
Never got the video delivered to me.... I am still hoping to receive it at some stage...
I still didn't get that video, either, so today I am out $500 with nothing to show for it...
He shares the information about the congestion and states that a hydro jet would burst a zero threat alternative, through the barrier. He also said he would send me the copy and recorded the video session that was whole. Everything made sense.
But the hose that he was putting in the ground (thru precisely the exact same opening that the camera had been used) was becoming stuck, or would not create a turn in the pipes (despite the fact that the camera had no issues getting all the way (85') to the road (or technically- the sand block before). They tried going via yet another and another hole, but had no success. Seems like it couldn't make the via an elbow that is existing.
I was excited to get the problem resolved and was then bought another $750 for its hydro evaluation (so now up to $1000). As the issue will be resolved by it, fine, I approved.
I am not comfortable with this, as I believe should they thought it couldn't be carried out, that they shouldn't have recommended the hydro. Or at least, they should have warned me. I mean, just how am I supposed to know whether their hydro hose fit or would match inside of their pipes? Why didn't the guy from Day One recognize a potential Hydro Jet issue? They did the video review, they recommended the service (that I had not even heard of until that point) and their hydro'head' (and backyard hose using a head) would not match.
Before the guy leaves, he states that I am still on the hook for the whole cost of $1000, but 1) that they will offer a reduction of $250 (taking it down to $750 total), and I should be paying more, because it's technically a different $375 each time they'stick it into a brand new hole'. The'sticking it into different holes' thing, by the way, took about 10 minutes or so every time (so that the $375 thing, eh).
In the end, it had been decided that it's of no expectation on a Friday afternoon and I am probably gonna have to tear up the yard to fix the problem.

Feeling, I suppose pipes is pricey, however to be professional service come with high price, although our home was serviced by 5 stars, superb service and workmanship, on short notice.

The next plumber arrived and turned the valve together with his hand as if nothing was wrong. No problem with valve he stated, saving me the pain of having to possess the village and the money come to shut away the water .
I thought they were good and have used Excel a few times. But, I suppose it depends on which plumber they send over.
Was Excel plumber using a citizen?
I had Excel come to quote an outside faucet repair. The plumber said he couldn't turn the water off be house for fear of a gasket breaking due to some"corroded" valve. He would require a couple of hours to repair and said it'd cost $495 to replace the valve. That was contested by my city's public works and advised I receive second opinion.

We had to change a water heater we obtained appointment straight away the men were very professional, if they left we nevertheless had an issue and they came back and fixed it. I liked They answer Immediately when there was something not done so thank you

Had a flow in my bathtub faucet that needed to be mended. Called Excel Plumbing along with two local competitors to make sure I was getting fair and honest quotes. Excel's price was $690, which was high for a very straightforward and easy job. Ended up getting the work. The repair took less than 1 hour and contained changing capsules that were both cold and hot. Since they are a RIP-OFF will never predict Excel!
Thanks for the answer Thom! While I agree that mistakes happen and all of us ought to be tolerant of the. This was not a mistake, however, deliberate gouging.

My sump pump appeared to be recirculating water. Wanted to get it checked before something occurred. Adrian B came. Checked the pump. Answered my questions and gave me a clean bill of health. Checked my backup it worked too. And, no service fee, so there was no charge. Too many shops like these days! Thumbs way up!

We moved into a house in a month and the burbs in, found sewage in the cellar. Excel came out the next day and managed to ID the problem right away (initial pipe into the house over 100yo corroded through). He gave a quote to us but clarified just how much those might cost and potential issues. He appeared so we advised the work, and accepted his quote. It went fast, he didn't have any of the troubles that were prospective and got the job. We'll definitely use these guys again.

Because I'm on a fixed income that a Moen was proposed by him since it was similar to the one I'd had, and the cost was within my budget. He left then returned to put in and he put my cleaning equipment back!

Excel plumbing actually got me and did an superb job. The owner himself came to my home and they gave me an superb price to replace my sump pump. I would highly recommend them to anyone searching for plumbing assistance. They'll be the company I use for life!

I had Brian O. from Excel purge my kitchen sink and the procedure went great! Brian came after they said he got to work, diagnosed, would, repaired it, gave me some suggestions for the best way best to prevent similar problems and even explained what triggers a situation like mine. I would use them again in a flash (hopefully I will not need to soon though). I called to make my appointment and process went swimmingly.

We used excel to update our water service line to 1.5". They have been courteous, professional, and got the job done before the ground froze. Alex did everything he could to make sure the job was done correctly. Highly recommended A+ support.

We used Excel Plumbing for the first time. Luke, the plumber that came to install a new toilet, was professional, productive and friendly. After he left, he kept us apprised of what he do, and left our home spotless. I would use Excel Plumbing again, and I would strongly recommend Excel and Luke. They did a great job!
