The furnace had a different difficulty on Saturday (an old issue that cropped up again) and they came in an hour again, despite the snowstorm that had struck the area. The serviceman who arrived explained my tenant and to myself the situation and was beyond polite. I could not be more pleased with the support and would recommend them to anybody needing heating assistance.
These guys are GREAT. I had to call on a Thursday night at 9:30 and they were at my place within an hour. The technician that day was professional and efficient, and he waited on my final decision for several hours when a person and I spoke to purchase a replacement part.

We were known to Quick Response by our plumber since we had a leaking heater to be addressed rather quickly (within 12-14 hours). After establishing a scheduled time, naming our referral, and phoning, I was told they do not service our area and then the person on the phone. Very rude to hang up and suggesting another alternative for our circumstance.

Very annoying experience! I phoned them for their advisement of quick response. They gave me an appt window for the day which I took because I had 24 hours prior to the rains. I explained my situation. The Following Day during my appointment window throughout the day the dispatcher read by a script" "I really do apologize Mamwe telephone you if a technician becomes available". Can you inform you if somebody will be here now. Same response. I am frustrated that they strung me along as I could have made other arrangements both. No one came!

Angie's List is a crock. Everyone I called from there was more than willing to allow my family suspend. Will call Rapid Response again for your own HVAC needs.
After calling 8 other HVAC individuals at 8:30 pm Friday night at Newton, MA area to see our 22 year-old furnace was blowing cold air, called Rapid Response and they arrived the next day (could have found out that night). Dan found that the problem straight away and assessed the machine over. Had heat in about one hour.

I have been working with those men for many years and they are THE BEST when it comes to response, while they are a little pricey -- when the motor of my A/C went , and they basically saved my sanity. At first they told me it would be"a few days" before they could get the replacement motor -- once they saw me about to implode, they pulled out the stops and got the motor overnighted from CA -- 24 hours afterwards, up and running. I promised I would tell the world that they saved me by a great deal of perspiration. Because men -- Chris and notably Eric.

My brothers Brookline apartment had no heat and it was overdue but far to cold to not get it fixed right then and there! Quick response came out within 45 mins to repair whatever was wrong and it was within his budget so when problems strike be sure to use them. Good way to start the new year.

Quick story. Was in the basement. It was just before Thanksgiving. There was a smoke coming out of the vents. Because we had 20 people coming we had been in a panic and it had been realty chilly out. They had been at my house in 30 minutes! No charge for anything. Turns out there was something which only burnt up in all and the brand new furnace was well, but it was great that they cared enough to come over so fast.
They also did a skilled and spectacular job, and have installed 2 replacement furnaces for me, basement and attic. I have ZERO complaints. I recommend them.

Can you spell RIP OFF! What a mistake I left having them come to support my air conditioning system. They wanted to charge me $190 for them to visit Worburn to pick up $89 and a part to get a brand new air filter.
I live 1 mile from Home Depot....an air filter price approximately $7-12. As soon as I refused this they consented to give me one at no charge....that's since they charged me $216 to get a"diagnostic inspection" to determine what the issue was and then a second $334 for the part I wanted. The service person was adequate but he is not the owner.
Unless you want to clean out your check book, DO NOT use these people!

Buyer beware! Would not recommend. I own/manage 17 possessions in Boston and these are one. Be prepared for a fee for these to drive into your property, then it'll cost a minimum of $287.

Rapid Response, the third, had a guy out within about an hour. He fixed the issue for a flat fee that was agreed upon after he noticed what was wrong (thermocouple was shot). Prior to the final bill was tallied the service call charge of $36 was eliminated.
We called 3 unique plumbers. Our customary plumber said they could not get somebody out until the next day at 10AM. That wasn't going to do the job.
Our furnace refused to start up one cold January morning.
The next plumber called back, after two desperate calls.

Got completely ripped off with them. They did not supply an accurate quote over the phone to the typical support. After the guy showed up, he quoted so send him away and we needed to write him a test that was 39.
We called the company and they did the same job.
Save $$$ and don't use this company.

Came to fix my A/C around 5 hours. Men did a temporary fix to get me through the weekend since I have a kid, then fixed it the next week pretty quickly/easily. They called beforehand, came when they said they were really, and would nice guys. This was great, although I've had such poor luck with all trades. I'd hire them again.

Beware!!!!!! - this business is a complete rip off. I called out them to fix our hot water heater which they had originally installed and they informed a warranty covered me over the telephone. Then told me till I had the initial receipt that the water heater wasn't covered by the warranty and therefore they needed to charge me an extra $1280. They'll take you as they can get from you. Consider someone for pipes assistance!!!!

The technician was on time and professional by taking apart our boiler and THEN telling us it would be $600 + to fix it, he reacted to a problem that is small and he refused to put it. He left our house (in late December) without the heating or hot water and therefore we paid nearly $200! I called somebody else who vacuumed the exhaust tube (quickly repairing the draft difficulty ), put everything back together and turned on our warmth for NOTHING. UGH $200 down the tubes.

My furnace wasn't working in the midst of January. He came out said I needed a new filter and"safety switch". I paid $300 to him. Its beginning of February and my furnace isn't working in any way. Called him back and he said $149 to come and cost of repairs out. If he had any warranty on his job since it had not even been 3 months, I inquired and he said NO!
