The assessment in my neighbor was that the igniter burnt out. I went with the HVAC Tech which may come to my home and called about for an HVAC Plumber. All Services Group sent a Tech by Saturday but the Tech said there was a jumper in my furnace and did not wish to touch it. My home and furnace are yrs old so I phoned the Developer who built my home to learn what All Services Group Tech supposed about a jumper. The HVAC Plumber who set up my furnace was sent by the Developer along with his assessment completely contradicted everything All Services Group Tech told me. Ultimately, it had been the Nest Thermostats that burnt out the igniter. The Developer's HVAC Plumber altered the igniter, said there is no jumper in my furnace and put back my old thermostats. I phoned Nest and they appeared to agree so accepted returning the thermostats it's possible for the igniter to burn . After all this,'' All Services Group charged me $270 that I thought was quite high for the Tech and also for a visit not to wish to touch something or replace the igniter. When I called to learn why they were charging me $270 they said because the call had been on a Saturday so the fee was for half and time. I have no difficulty paying for a person's time however when I hear two distinct stories what is wrong with my furnace, I will side with the HVAC Plumber who actually fixed the issue and appeared to diagnose the issue into the true root cause, in this situation the Nest thermostats. I gave the bill to the Developer's HVAC Plumber and he did not concur with All Services Group's assessment and thought the cost for the visit was high also. This was my interaction with All Services Group and won't use them. Especially when they won't fix the issue for any reason, I would recommend finding the rates out prior to hand.
