Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Thanks to water lines and backed-up DC city sewer, my basement flooded under over one foot of water three days, and also my sewer backed up three times. Very unpleasant, expensive, time consuming, and sad because land was destroyed in the basement, etc..
It's not often I get to recommend tradesman or a contractor of any kind in DC, this is just another exception.
If you are panicked their employees are friendly and kind and work to really get someone out fast.
In their first visit they fixed a problem created by a different unprofessional plumber, although granted, Roto-Rooter isn't affordable. Sam also gave us information that countermanded the other plumber's advice and saved us.
Due to Sam's persistence and follow , Roto's camera view of the clog (they did not bill us ) proved that the issue was on the city's side. We could get the city wash their pipes and to come out. Now that the town's clog has been removed, we have not had any flood or backups.
Every time, I called were courteous, and helped us determine the cause. Their dispatchers are helpful and polite, and Sam, that came out twice, was patient polite, and professional.

SITUATION
On May 30, a service technician by the name of LAL came into my condominium in Odenton, MD, to unclog my toilet sink.

LAL came on time having giving me a telephone call heads-up he was on the way. In that call, he had been solicitous that he had been coming in a time. Before he got here -- set a tone that was positive I loved that courtesy very much.

In reality, that attitude, coupled with his technical know-how that was clear-cut, left me amazed. Especially, a ton of crease cleaned out with that sink 16 years worth of gunk. And he did it in less than two hours.
Put down as a Roto-rooter fan -- even a cheerleader. This young guy delivered when the chips were down. He is a real"go-to guy," a credit to your organization -- and to you company's reputation.

Once he came, I was impressed by his patient way and"Can Do" attitude once I briefed him about the problem at hand: the clogged sink in my bathroom. As a former Navy Seabee (Captain, USNR, Ret), that winning Can Do attitude resonated with me personally.

Lets state plumbing and crisis are. I called one and independents other large three letter company in Baltimore. Anywhere for the call, not the work from 150 to 250. Valve and my hot water heater lines decided to get a winter heating party celebration in my utility closet. Actually went to get a new one, looks gas water heaters are catchy. Called Rotor rooter, actually the tech is in with Fred, installing pipes, new lines and a valve. Repair, plus 12 month warranty on the work's price is significantly less than half of a new tank.

DO NOT USE. They charged me $599 To clean a drain and then tighten a faucet. I feel nostalgic.

Used this company for what I believed was. There are several other reputable companies with great reviews and way more reasonable rates. Snaking a kitchen sink wsx $599.00. Please do your homework.

I contacted to get them fix a plumbing emergency that the original plumber which I contacted did not fix and within a few hours they were in my home. Within 2 hours I was back in business, no more plumbing emergency. Excellent service and work! A life saver!
My plumber has been L.P. #2158. Soon after I explained the difficulty that he realized what had to be done to repair it. Then he gave the quote to me and I went with it. L.P. did fantastic work and came through with what he said he was going to do.

Overflowing toilet in a leasing on Memorial Day weekend with folks moving in now. Beyond dreadful! Was able to snake exactly what our hands snake couldn't. Previous tenant flushed something down there. Anyhow James Lian, #2629, had it working like a charm very quickly. Thank you!!!

Yesterday, I phoned them and they offered to come out right away, but I needed to schedule them to come as I had a couple of conference calls scheduled for my job. Well Jimmy arrived but my calls had become rescheduled for right in the center of his service call. I needed to immediately show him where the issues were and then hurry off to another part of my house to address these calls. A couple of hours afterwards, he patiently waited another half hour to describe what he'd done and what the issues were. He found my exterior clean out, which myself and various plumbers failed to find before. They gave me a reduction that was great as I was referred to them by another plumber.
Can not go wrong!

Josue was fantastic and polite. I always use RR for my plumbing needs. He reduced the price to match my budget and gave guidance to me. Job well done. Problem solved.

We have had plumbing problems for a few months and it became clear that they couldn't be handled by our regular plumber when our drains backed up less than a week after they were here. Because we understood our problem could not wait till morning, We predicted Roto Rooter for the first time on a Monday night. Neftali came and was really polite, knowledgable and wash. He made sure everything was flowing before he left and snaked our drains. The following morning someone came with a camera and reasoned that we have problems with our main sewer line and it is going to have to be replaced. Roto Rooter gave us an estimate before we make a choice, and we're amassing a few more. But so far they've been great and I would suggest them.

There was an issue with what I was perplexed about exactly what they could/could not manage. . .so ask questions prior to if you're not sure. I reserved online which didn't allow for this. Customer support did reach out to ensure I was satisfied after the snafoo and the local supervisor Mr.Tolson was sweet as peach pie and I appreciate him caring that I was not pleased. Its easy to tell if people are simply scripted like he actually cared I was not happy, but it felt SO he either really cared or is a great celebrity thx Andrew!

Roto-Rooter has been great. The technician was there at 9:00 a.m. as guaranteed, was friendly, professional and needed the job finished in 20 minutes. Roto-Rooter would be highly recommended by me.

Woke up to a basement, the drain in the basement backed up. Called Roto-Rooter plus they send over Max (tech 6672). Max was fantastic! He saved me a fantastic deal of money , nevertheless istead of just substituting it he managed to fix it was considerate, he quickly narrow down the problem to the pump. That made the situation a little better. Thanks Max!

Sent an plumber to fix a bathroom --the plumber not just didn't unclog the toilet, he marked the porcelain inside the toilet up and shattered the porcelain toilet paper holder inside the walls, then had the nerve. I spent the next two days, to no impact, trying to talk without avail, to a live customer support individual. And my toilet is still not fixed. Do not EVER use their service.
