Sailo promised the family he could repair the issue and we would have hot water in no time. For expeditiously tackling our issue 12, thank you very much Roto Rooter and instantaneous. We're definitely recommending the business to our neighbors, friends, and co workers.
My loved ones and I are very pleased with the service supplied by Tech (Sailo).
We awakened in the middle of scrambling for my nephew's football match, to no hot water:-LRB-. After calling a few organizations, my sister proposed Roto-Rooter since she recalled the"Uncover Boss" episode and also the CEO made a great statement about the corporation.
To our amazement we predicted on a Saturday, and they offered to come to the exact same day. As other companies said the week was their availability, this was amazing.
Sailo took the opportunity to spell out the issues, and was instantaneous, very considerate. So a water heater could set her back 17, my Mom is upward in age.
Called Roto-Rooter to repair a leaking pipe. The technician assessed the pipe, came, and began work. We gave consent for the apparently minor fix, but an estimate was never given by the technician before working. We assumed that it wouldn't be much because it had been minor. The pipe has been replaced. After finishing the project, the technician began repairing a loose toilet door (that we didn't ask him to do, we thought he did it out of good will).
Through the visit, the technician stepped out to take telephone calls. The technician went to his truck for about an hour to write the invoice up. He took so long, we thought he left! When he came back with a charge of $ 1,100 we were shocked! On the invoice, he stated that he repaired a toilet door (that we didn't ask him to do). We had been thrown away from the cost, although I will say the technician was proficient and polite. Tell us ahead that the invoice will be that high! Just a small section of the time was spent working, although he had been at our business for a few hours. Thank you but with business practices and price gouging such as this, we're not going to seek Roto-Rooter for repairs .
Fantastic tech and prompt support. This corporation will be my go to plumbing support from this day forward (and I have used MANY pipes ).
Charlie (tech ) was the best. Spent time describing what was going on and pleasant to work with.
We had a crisis repair (kitchen faucet detached from the sink - water everywhere) and needed help fast. Roto-Rooter was extremely responsive. They shipped out tech Donovan Rose who stopped when the faucet came to install it and get us an operating kitchen the water, helped us pick a new faucet, then came back immediately. He was both professional and personable, and, most significant, quick and efficient. We appreciate excellent work and response.
Called the service line on a Saturday night with a semi-emergency -- a leaking ice-maker line for the fridge that dripped into the flat below. They could not come out right off but said they'd ship a truck Sunday morning (I also called Spartan who also promised Sunday rather than revealed and never called back before Monday).
Lal, Technician #2036, showed up towards the end of the window however, once on the job, labored actually going to the hardware store to get parts that weren't loaded onto his truck. He stuck to the initial quote despite spending far more time than he anticipated on the job. Two thumbs up.
I had a plumbing crisis. I phoned and they guaranteed that they could come out in 2 weeks or less. The issue was clearly clarified by me. The dispatcher assured me that they can snake an exterior drain. Their plumbers could not do that. Meanwhile I'd cancelled another plumber and my cellar was flooding. What exactly does"rooter" in the name mean if they can not actually do that?!? I am disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this plumber. By today, no plumber I have contacted has availability tonight, and also the damage in my cellar is increasing. It was a costly mistake to call Roto-Rooter. The dispatchers will need to be honest the first time about what services are supplied.
I recently had a backup/ overflow problem in my home. I call Roto-Rooter because they online and they'd there 24/7 service. The customer support representative told me they'd have a tech in my house over the hour. After I got off the telephone the technician arrived 15 minutes. I was amazed on how fast he got to my house. After he came, the technician explained to me and evaluated the situation the options I had. He explained he was gonna do the option , and if that didn't work he was gonna need to do his second option. Which cost more. Luckily his solution worked. He had everything. The tech was very friendly and informative. We had a different business stop by and explain to us the wake damages. He explained to us the effected areas need to be removed and replaced. He assisted a claim record with our clients insurance too. The team needed to wash up the day also but sadly my family had aims. We rescheduled for the following day and everything effect was removed and prepared for repairs. This was a situation for me and my loved ones but the frustration eased with there support. Thank You!!!
I Would like to thank Al and Matt, and the rest of the Group in Roto-Rooter to their above and beyond service over the past week. Matt, Al, and David remained until nearly 8 pm at night at my house to ensure they spoke to the DC Water team, since they understood the issue could be ignored without their professional opinion. I shall shout their praises because DC Water has finally agreed to dig up the street and replace the emergency line. Without the staff staying to speak to DC Water I would probably be dealing with this for the upcoming few weeks rather than (hopefully) the upcoming few days.
We woke up up basement toilet Sunday, and Roto-Rooter was outside in the house to rate the issue. It was to be more than a clogged toilet. . .cracked pipe, crazy old DC plumbing problems, etc.. The guys worked methodically to figure out every difficulty they struck in my property it was disclosed that the problem is on the DC town side, not until FINALLY.
The tech was rude....price was quoted $395 higher than Len the Plumber for the identical support. Over priced!
Because if we'd sewer backup it may happen again to be honest, we did not have this reassurance. Roto Rooter was contacted by us and asked camera service to scrutinize our sewer pipes. After review, it was identified that the problem was not and on DC Water's side of the pipe with our pipes - in other words, the sewage backup was being caused by DC Water. The tech was preparing to leave, and I asked about how much I worked out. I was blown away when they stated I did not owe anything. I honestly expected to pay for this, and Roto Rooter had completely no duty to provide me the camera service at no cost. And they did so as we were, because they were equally frustrated.
When I have plumbing issues, I will certainly use Roto Rooter. If the company stands behind their own services, I don't mind paying a premium. Bonus: They are open 24x7, so in the event that you need services in the middle of the night, make sure that you provide them a phone. Frankly, it's worth it for the peace of mind, although it'll cost you.
Guess what happened a week after after we replaced everything (drywall, molding, rugs ), we'd. . Another sewage backup! We were both upset and confused, so we contacted Roto Rooter. They were on site in 2 hours and snaked the line. DC Water and the tech met and they discussed my situation, and they both believed everything will be useful. We were expecting the third time - that the third snake would clear the issues.
Once I read the invoice after I got home from work, I was disappointed as technician wrote he just snaked 40 ft of line, rather than 100 ft before I went to work and let my wife handle it, as verbally consented. As soon as I educated Roto Rooter about my worries, Roto Rooter came back and cleared 100 ft free of cost to give us some peace of mind that was excellent - that they could have easily claimed and stated"Tech did around 100 ft, but did not write it down" and they took steps to guarantee us the sewage drain was apparent.
As soon as I discovered my wife named Roto Rooter to correct a sewage backup, I was upset because I told her that I discovered Roto Rooter was expensive. To clean the sewage backup, we were quoted about $600 dollars. We were impressed because they left and cleared the clog. Roto Rooter was forthcoming and clear before the job was began by them.
Plumbers should consider Roto Rooter as an example of premium and exceptional service. We will surely use Roto Rooter - however they stand behind their services and did several services without charging for 28, even though they cost more - even when they could have!
Thank you Andrew T., Mark A., and the Roto Rooter crew of Jessup, MD for the Superb service.
Pricing that is Unethical, extortion-level They wanted $400 to snake an outdoor drain that's only slow--not clogged. This is a 10-minute job. Incredible and dishonest price gouging. Until you flip to these people Locate an honest plumber.
I have a drain in my yard that's partially clogged . I called Roto Rooter DC to get the drain snaked. I've used them before and they were premium priced for that to say the least but I was in a bind so needed to agree.
Super fast and efficient. They were there on a Sunday although No one likes to call a plumber.
A very expensive plumber - #7909 assisted yesterday us unclog a kitchen drain. It was way more expensive than that I think it is worth, although their service was great and on time. Our total price for the service was that is overly excessive for a service that is routine and $850. When I called for an appointment, I attempted to ask for an notion of the price tag, but I would not be told by the lady. As it was, their service is 550. If there's anything as well as using their snake to purge, it is additional. Yesterday, I called to complain and the operator said I would be called by a person at the branch. Now, but I did not receive a telephone. I really don't think I can afford this plumber for service. They even charged us $59 for a gallon for drain.
# 7909, mister Khiangte, arrived in time and did the job at a fair price and quickly. I would ask for him.
I would use Roto Rooter.
Such easy support & fast! I called at 6:30a because we had no water and someone was at our home by 9a. Zaw was professional and trustworthy. We needed to get a new water heater. He called Nyi and they could get us a new water heater installed by 3p. Since we had a baby at home and they both had children 26, they were observant and informed me about the setting of this heater. They were both skilled and cleaned up our laundry room also quite well (and if they had some dirt on their shoes).
I am updating my review after speaking to a man in the workplace.... Plumbers make a ton of money per hour so $120 to get 15 minutes is normal. :)
I needed to have me turn off at the street and had a water line break in my home. They said to get a plumber come out and turn me forth. Called this morning because they offer free estimates. They arrived when scheduled. It cost $120 to get my water turned back on, which was costly to stick a pole in the ground and turn the water main back on in my opinion, but the fact was remarkable to me. The technician I'd was Jonathan, I would suggest Roto-Rooter based on this adventure, just be ready to spend.
I will say that although I really don't know where to begin my critique. When without inquiring a plumber arrives and takes a pop and drinks it there is going to be a problem. When you are asked by a plumber in precisely the same sentence asks how do you afford to live here and also what exactly do you do for a living there is going to be a problem. Can you see the pattern that is starting? I have got to the facts of the subject. When a plumber asks to borrow your vacuum cleaner and much destroys you being able to utilize it on indoor carpeting then you understand there is going to be a problem. You know there is going to be a problem when a manager requires you an assures you your service fee will not be cashed and the test torn up however they cash your test then and turn around. Once the plumber alludes to the cost to restore your water heater will be close to 600 dollars but at the conclusion of the estimation of prices quotes you a figure of 1700 dollars then you understand there is going to be a problem. I opted to have my hot water heater replaced for about 650 the cost of a brand new hot water heater using extended warranty along with the setup fee of 425.00. I'd say they weren't replacing ANYTHING that was what they quoted me for labour since the price plus I got away cheaper than giving these rip.
Update: Ed Clark on the phone and I spoke shortly after posting my inspection and he apologized that I received and assured me this was an isolated episode. He was a man of the sentence in telling me the check was in the mail. I received it the next day. One bad apple can sometimes spoil the bunch! I probably will not call Roto Rooter.
I phoned Roto-Rooter to fix a small slow drip coming from a pipe at one of my closets. The technician was here for 15 minutes before he realized he needed to go to the shop to get pipe little enough to replace the failing section. Before leaving he asked me directly"how much do you want to cover today." Shocked I said well I would like to cover what the service is worth and never get ripped off. He then said there is a $245 flat fee for me coming out here, and I'm going to charge you an additional $100 for going to get the components for components I get. So, the technician is gone for almost two hours and the Home Depot is from my property. He shows up with 3 ft of a metallic connector he was likely to use to splice the pipe that is old using the new and a PVC piping. Didn't look like $100 worth of components to me by any means. After returning from the shop to make the fix took him about 10 minutes. Overall, he earned $345, and was for 30-40 minutes, where bulk of his time has been spent talking to me about the high costs to live in the region where I live in my own home. I called the exact same Roto-Rooter and had a comprehensive drain under among my toilet sinks replaced for $276 with labor and parts included I am beyond disgusted. Talk about dishonest premium prices for service!! while the technician was friendly talking
**UPDATE**
After submitting my review I received a message in customer service saying that a official complaint and requesting my address from Pat. Soon after I got a call from a manager at the branch where my technician was dispatched from who expressed apologies. He should on no account be a reflection of their company as a whole and noticed that the tech's behavior wasn't appropriate. He place the technician on a"do not send" list for my speech and provided me a good part of my money back to compensate me fire my dreadful experience. That is the kind of customer service that I will acquire Roto-Rooter potential business from me and appreciate. They could have ignored my post but took some time out to be sure the situation has been rectified. Says a good deal about how they value clients . Thank you!
As advertised! Called Roto Rooter in 10am to have a tech come out and swap out my garbage disposal. From 10:30am, William had came and began working at work. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and completed before noon! A bit on the expensive side ($239 after $50 Yelp reduction ) but it is a flat charge and William had to do just a little bit of work to adjust the pipes since the new disposal was not a perfect fit.
I'd like to thank Joe Ogle with Roto Rooter for coming out to Hamilton and helping us with a Sewage inspection. We had a expierence with a sewer company. Joe ended up saving us tens of thousands of dollars in unecesaary repairs.
