After an overview of the experience, I was contacted by the proprietor, who voiced concern and tried to make it appropriate. His people, including Mike, bent over backward to turn things around. There was A part arranged, the bill was fair, and the heat's back on.
This firm works hard for the customers, and following some bumps I am pleased to say that I'd call them again.

I wasn't able to clear it myself, although I had snaked the line before calling a plumber. I've used Cregger Plumbing in the past for additional work and their prices were fair, so I called them. When I called, they did not contact me back the next day to schedule an appointment and seemingly lost my contact number. My wife called back in the day's end, but they were booked up and could not get me. She put up an appointment for the next day. My wife called back, after not hearing from them in the morning and our appointment information was lost by their system. The operator informed us that they're using a brand new system and have been having difficulties with it and apologized. They gave us a fresh window between 3 and 7pm. Around 5 pm, James called and informed me he had been on the road. He was polite and very professional and came quickly. James went to work and listened to me about the issue. He managed to successfully clear the lineup. When it came time to get the bill, it wasn't only sensible as is, however, Cregger Plumbing knocked off an extra $89.00 I presume as a result of the scheduling mistakes. (I never complained to them about the scheduling mistakes, they did so in their own). I would highly recommend this company again in the future for pipes needs.

I have utilized Cregger for sewer line maintenance previously, but this week has been the very first time I needed help with a plumbing situation... and it was a SITUATION! We had our AC head out to the days on one. This is a Wednesday when all other firms near us had a availability and they had been available the day. We needed the motor replaced along with the support person had one in his truck. It was replaced. Fantastic support. Highly recommended!

Experienced and knowledgeable. Would use them again.

Called Cregger Company, following a renter in a rental property reported a water heater went bad. The tech arrived to the house and had phoned me, after I had called. I knew what to anticipate including price along with also the water heater replacement went without a hitch. Job well done in this circumstance, would call them again for future needs.

The owner is lying about what happened and then writing reviews that are fake to cover this up.
Within days of my sump pump being checked out by them it backed up and my basement flooded. As the owner is quick to point out in his retort, the visit was initially related to some laundry tub. He fails to recognize his employee also scrutinized while he was there my sump pump. The reason for this was to determine whether the pipes remained the exact same diameter throughout the home. He followed them from the laundry tub (main floor) into the cellar.
When speaking to the business owner he explained it was my fault for not checking the pump right after his technician looked at it to make sure it was ok. After refusing to take any obligation, he hung up. As he likes to claim I never asked any support. Trust me, after that fiasco, I did not desire his company anywhere near my pipes again.
Many of these reviews are. They're actively trying to boost the organization's rating by making bogus reviews because the REAL reviews are revealing how bad the"service" (if you can even call it ) really is.

Needed a plumber to replace our hot water heater that died just after Memorial Day (2018). The day afterwards, I called Cregger's, and they sent Kevin and two other helpers to install a new one. Afterwards, we had to get them out to make several temperature adjusts, and they came out with no hassles and our warm water temp is perfect. Cregger Plumbing Co is our go to plumbing support. They are educated and competitively priced. Additionally they plumbed the first floor laundry room which she loves of my wife! Cregger Plumbing Company, you're wonderful!

Requested to get my own sewer drain snaked as part of a home inspection request. Cregger provided a fantastic expertise and timely support. The shipment didn't inform the servicemen that it had been a sewer snaking based on inspection results, therefore he didn't bring a range. Fortunately, the servicemen made up for it with effort in doing the job right. My sewer return access was not easily reachable, James made extra effort to access the sewer properly and do the job right the first time.

Upgraded review: I sent a guy out on a Saturday morning to adapt my schedule and had a hard time but Derek, the supervisor, called back. Derek going above and beyond to receive my problem cared for is really appreciated by me. This proved to be a really kind and caring gesture on his part - thanks Derek!!

Derek is a good guy. They came out and snaked a cellar drain. It backed up on a Saturday. I was originally told it'd be a crisis telephone charge plus another fee for snaking. I told the person (not Derek) I did not agree with having to pay another fee when it occurred so soon after their first visit. After Derrick got involved that he made things right. I would work with them.

After closing the water valve in the basement I disconnected a maker in the fridge. (We are expecting a new refrigerator in the morning) I spent 25 minutes mopping up the floor that was messy, and hobbled to the shutoff lever. He arrived close to 10:00 PM. I travelled to the basement problem site by my lift seat. At a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis and age 90, I learned an expensive lesson. The Cregger Plumber solved the issue before my lift seat touched the basement floor. I was shocked to discover that he turned the valve one more time, and the water leak problem was solved. I thanked him how much I owed him. He replied, $225.00. Was a two minute endeavor and a ten second visit. I told him that the dispatcher quoted me $165.00 for your home call, and extra solutions could extend to $225.00 to 500.00 plus parts depending on the nature of this work. I advised the Plumber it was clear that I lacked the hands power to make the last turn. . My statement to the Cregger plumber was,"This is a fantastic way to obtain a reputation for good relationships with a new customer". Evidently, it's not fantastic publicity for a business dealing with a 90 year-old that are handicapped, unable to create the last turn on valve. My suggestion to anyone looking for a plumber is to consider coping with a plumbing firm that takes all factors into considerations, before settling for a experience that could parallel my experience with Cregger. It was a image. The problem was solved.
Michael Eremia. P.S.. This revision is based on the prompt, courteous response I received at 11:00 PM from the proprietor, Dereck Cregger, 10 minutes following my sour inspection was posted. He calmly stated he knew my angry feelings, and stated that the $60 fee for two second service rendered is just one he - as the proprietor - would not have charged. Mr. Cregger clarified that the service charge rates are posted on each individual plumber's cell phone, and onsite plumbers are not licensed to negotiate a modification of service rate charges. In dealing with my complaint about the fee the plumber's problem, was. The owner assured me that his institution's priority is every client's total satisfaction with services and he would refund $60. He sent the check including an extra $5 to the aggravation I experienced. This is my very first experience using a service supplier displaying such a complete understanding of a business trade calling for actions. There is never a good time to call for a plumber, but happy that I was referred to Cregger Plumbing for an issue in my condo unit downtown from my fridge. They could get out SAME DAY (that can be a huge deal for me personally ), diagnose the matter, and help cure (but not replace) the water line.
I wanted to provide a five star rating, but could not due to the high"emergency call" up-charge that could not have been averted.

We had four plumbers. Cregger was the fourth. The tech they sent from the first time did not resolve the issue and we had to telephone Cregger back to let them know we were getting water in the cellar. What is crazy is Kevin worked the hardest of all the technicians to make sure our lines were clear and draining correctly! He pulled all type of our rental house's basement drain - a few food cans, a spray can, heaps of weeds and other debris. I'm not sure why the plumbers were not able to discover any of the stuff and pull out it. But we're happy Kevin did!!!! Cheers to Kevin!!!
I like my town and I've a great deal of properties in the city which require professional crafts to come do repairs. I'm glad I can call on Cregger to receive a dependable plumber for my possessions (Only send Kevin again, please).

Very happy with the service, either from Monica in the office and Ian who provided the service. We've been procrastinating getting a hose bib set up and water shutoff valve replaced but Ian did a thorough job and we waited and worried for nothing. And Monica even called to follow up! We highly recommend this firm.

The owner of Cregger contacted me right away - while I was out of town he organized to get into my house. They spent the hours until the problem was solved, working on my house. It is rained hard times since and I've had no issues.
Unfortunately while I was out of town days after having the work completed, we had some heavy rain once more - and some water STILL found its way to my cellar - was not happy about this, contacted Cregger immediately to find out what the hell the problem was. I had been out of town while I was off and it had been difficult to coordinate to obtain a plumber.
New to Ferndale - had some'immediate water in cellar' problems shortly. After purchasing a house safe to say not a great feeling. I shopped around for prices to have backwater valves installed on my basement floor drains. Cregger was aggressive on cost - fast to support, and technicians friendly & professional.
Cregger has many years of experience in Ferndale / Royal Oak area - I would suggest them to anybody.
BOTTOM LINE: Despite what was initially a bothersome plumbing situation - Cregger went out of the way to use my program (uncommon ) and make sure I had been cared for - and did not stop working until I had been in good shape.

I feel like it's difficult to get 5 stars as a plumbing business because they're normally the bearer of news that is pricey. Still, I felt that I was treated with respect and the service was timely. I was unsure whether our situation was an emergency and had called on a Sunday morning. I talked with a woman who broke down the crisis service pricing vs a consultation - . Because the bathroom overflowed I was able to make an educated decision and not one in dread! They had some issues and called to follow up article service when we had been satisfied to determine. Would recommend!

Trustworthy support. Came back from vacation to a leaky hot water heater. Within 36 hours they had placed a model
In place. Used them for a new water conditioner before.
