Ryan & Company

I utilize Yelp nearly daily when searching for services and this is the first time I've felt forced to leave a review. It's rare that a service provider surpasses your expectations. I have used Ryan & Co. three occasions today, and every single time they're more instantaneous, more courteous, more professional than I could possibly expect. We purchased an old home with heat, baseboard, and radiators. Ryan & Co. came out three occasions - after because the boiler was overly complete, another time to enhance the operation of my radiators, and finally a late-night emergency trip for a burst pipe. Kevin lately during my after hours emergency telephone and I spoke, and he was really nice. They had a technician out to me. He is thorough and methodical and he describes everything he's performing that I can understand. Ryan and Co. has taught me about my home than I have discovered through any other means.

Visiting with my parents in Whippany. Come to find that they're without a functioning furnace, have offenses from the gas company that need remediation, a bathtub drain leak acute enough to be draining into the garage along with other more minor issues. Kevin and rich came out on a Friday afternoon, remediated all of the gas firms dilemmas and fixed the chimney, made the bathtub drain leak safe and they're writing estimates to replace safety and ADA standards to increase. These guys are top notch and professional. Thank you for assisting my parents!

We had a air purifier placed in through Ryan
The sole issue is raj 15, they had to fix it twice today, after.
The first time was 12.2017. It had been issue with the line being obstructed. They blew out it and all was great. I also check it often just to make sure it stays like that. This might not have been preventable, I am not sure.
The next time was the selonoid failed. When the furnace is on just does it, and / enables water to pass into the filter it automatically stops. All water was ceased by it from coming out.
$80 for the visit billed @.
I didn't telephone Ryan about this or whine a lot. However, I still feel as a thing should be warrantied by them if it breaks over 3 years. Or just charge for something or parts. I have had builders do similar things in the past since I have been loyal in the past.
Update: 3/5 celebrities (original was 4/5 celebrities )
Overall the work was great. It had been set on 12.2016.
$80 for the visit billed @. They desired @$290 to substitute it.
I called a different firm, they said it seemed old, and replaced it for $160. They showed me a brand new one has a couple of items which make it better. Given it has been.
For some reason Yelp won't allow me to upgrade my review, so I have to rewrite the whole thing. My last review was about a page so oh well, and paste can't be copied by me.
The tech who did the work: Brian
I believed that was too expensive and part broke just after two years? Seems early.

Of course there was a large bill at the end. At these hourly rates I simply can't gjve 5 stars.
Both guys in this crew listened to what I asked as far as routing the pipe and hammering the roof, were unfailingly polite, did a very professional job, and also made efforts at cleaning up after themselves lol. The manager Kevin Ryan stopped by from time to time but abandoned the dudes with the job in shirts and khaki work pants. They are a class operation you may imagine.
A platoon of the army of Ryan revived the vent and drain for my kitchen, replacing galvanized pipe that had closed inside with modern PVC. They also pulled out the cast-iron trap PVC . Let's just say that the isht is flowing now!
If you hire a plumber who drives a beemer? Well I mostly tried to hire and was exceptionally glad to see all the work done fast, it is a bit dicey when you can't flush!

My propane grill changed but there was no gas coming into the grill after hooking up the hose and hose. I checked all the valves and they were at the"on" position. I have done a google search and found Ryan. He checked the grill the gentleman came out and saw it not ignited he removed the hose connector and we saw that gas came out. I informed him that I also had a newer connector and he said"let us try that" He put it on and low and behold we were able to spark the grill. Job well done my sole complaint is that he was there for all of 15 minutes and that I provided the part which fixed the issue and I was charged $236.

Could not be more happy with my experience. Escapes in the bathroom going down into the ceiling from a contractor who remodeled the bathroom of the kitchen. Called Ryan & Company to take a look and the proprietor Bill came to have a look later that day. Sent his technician Brandon, who was at 8 AM at our house the following morning to perform the repairs . We decided he should check the toilet and sink as well to be secure after fixing the leaking shower. Sure enough they had escapes as well, Brandon managed to repair all 3 leaks fast and even did a few caulking to enhance the appearance. Both Brandon & Bill were very knowledgable, friendly, showed up on time and also did a fantastic job at a fair cost. If you require plumbing work done in North Jersey, call Ryan & Company today.

Erin is so nice on the phone when I have a lot of questions. I talked with Kevin recently during my after hours emergency telephone, and he also was really nice. I had water pouring out of my walls and ceiling and he also helped locate the water shutoff valve to the house, saving me a lot of water damage. They had a technician out to me.
We bought an old house with baseboard, radiators, and electrical heat. Ihave not ever had a boiler and've consistently used forced heat in the past. So I have a lot to learn. Ryan & Co. came out three occasions - after since the boiler was overly full, another time to enhance the operation of my drains, and finally a late-night emergency trip to get a burst pipe.
Their prices are quite moderate - $300 for the after-hours telephone to stop the leaking pipe (still must schedule the fix ), $1100 for a full days work adjusting and repairing 10 radiators. They've a customer for life!
Rich has been my technician for almost all the work and he's one. He is methodical and thorough and he explains everything he's performing that I can understand. I have had many questions and he always answers with kindness and them . Ryan and Co. has taught me more about my house than I have discovered through any other means. Beyond the work they've done, this understanding will help me enjoy my house and care for and therefore I am quite grateful.
I use Yelp almost daily when searching for services and this is actually the first time I've felt compelled to leave a review. It's rare that your expectations are exceeded by a service supplier. I have used Ryan & Co. three occasions today, and each and every time they are more instantaneous, more courteous, more specialist than I could hope.

Only had my third ceremony together with these men and once again everything was outstanding and really felt compelled to leave a critique. Having purchased a house that needed a fantastic deal of work done I have been dealing with contractors for close to two years now. This company is a breath of clean air. Whenever I call the receptionist is super friendly are always on time, friendly and get what they should accomplish in a limited time. They have addressed the two of our heating problems without a problem and on short notice. Richard, our today was outstanding and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend this company.

My steam boiler began giving an odor, something aside from a natural gas odor off and running rough. After another company failed to find the problem first thing this morning and told me that my chimney was probably blocked, I called Ryan and Co. after affirming myself that the chimney was apparent. They advised that a cleanup was needed and came in just a couple of hours. Everything is working again. Fantastic service, super fast reaction time (can't tell you how many places didn't even phone me back), and affordable rates.

In response to Mr. Kevin Ryans answer to my unfavorable review of his service. . .kevin was not current. And if the telephone conversation was listed by Erinit will be proof that she phoned me and began yelling at me. She should be educated on how best to manage an unjappy client (which happens in this business) rather than to call them and get started scteaming and threatening them with legal actions. Bad. Very bad business practice. Along with your technician did NOT inform. He wanted to cjarge me and did it $300. He gave an ultimatum to me, I coul pay the $300 or purchase a service agreement for $275. I dont want the contract and he was not happy about it. He brought it down. He said ill be left and rightback eithout stating why. After more than 20 minutes, I went to the van and gave the test to him and told him that I dont enjoy the eay you do business. The same afternoon, when I did not have hot water, I called Erin later, and she said she'd check with the techs to see when they can find. In the morning at around 10 am I called..No answer..left message. Called again. . No response. Several hours later. . Called again. Left message that if I didn't get called back I'd place a stop payment. BINGO! She called me immediately, yelling at me, I had threatened her, accusing me. I was forced to yell her words over. And yes, I cursed. No heat for 5 days and this is what I get. She phoned me back, left a message, threatening to take action. I phoned back, left message which not to undermine me and because she has caused me so much aggravation, mt blood pressure went sky high, I needed to call my doctor and take an extra bp pill to bring it down, I told her I am placing a stop payment on the test. And by the way, your technician had an attitude problem, he was ugly, rude, defiant and uncooperative. . Now, I called another business, they're coming tomorrow to fix the problem. The girl on the telephone was sympathetic, kind and professionall in her manner of speaking. I haven't dealt with people like Erin snd your technician earlier. Never had an issue. You should fix them, not me. I shall send you a money order for your $49 I agreed to pay when I made the appointment. When I called back to inform your office manager I still had no water since I have to pay another person to do everything you should have done, but I will not pay you for anything else. Have a wonderful afternoon.

Thoroughly impressed by Ryan & Co.. Off, our furnace was out, it was cold. I called Monday and they were able to get me . A fast evaluation, explaining what he had been doing the whole time, the removal of an unfortunate mouse captured from the exhaust fan, an appraisal of harm (none), a reset of the machine and voila... we're off. Plus, I had some wire mesh that he gave a couple of pointers, helped alter the humidifier as well as whole house filter, was able to put little blocks on the input/output, and was on his way. HVAC and the most easy experience I have ever had. Oh, and was able to take a charge card and write up a detailed receipt that was automatically emailed to me... which anybody using tradesmen understands it's normally and old-school check measuring hands, this is just another added bonus.
