I called pipes and I got a call from Ed who had been knowledgeable and very pleasant. Ed advised me of his workload, but Ed promised to fit me ( that day). Ed kept me updated with regard and he came .

Ed will be certainly used by me again if I have any plumbing problems.
Our 12 year old garbage disposal lately seized up and died, and we all needed to get it replaced. We called Ed and A-1 managed to come out over a few days. He was very educated on ensuring he understood our location beforehand and kept us updated on his arrival that is anticipated.
Ed is organized. He arrived with all the equipment and tools he would need and was quite tidy in doing the job, which could get messy. He made sure everything was connected and functioning correctly and took his time. He had been fastidious in cleaning up after himself once finished.

He is going to convey that to you if he says he is definitely going to be late. If he states he can't replace your problem but he could stop by and take a look at it, he will make that effort.

He worked to have it installed and also to be certain that it functioned correctly, without any leaks and came back a couple of days after having an AO Smith water heater.
But, I made the choice to substitute it and went ahead.

My water heater finally broke down. I understood it was just a matter of time as it started to get louder. Anyway, I remembered that Ed gave a call to him and did some work. He stopped at the close of the day by my house to assess the broken water heater.

I had a situation with my own water heater that influenced by water heater. Thank good for Ed who managed to figure all this out! He worked hard to get me back to where I had water and may work again within my home. I suggest Ed wholeheartedly . I would use this business and of course Ed again if and when necessary. While recovering from surgery, I came home to find my sink and my own machine. Decided to proceed on Yelp and called A-1 Plumbing about 3:15. Was patched through to Ed, who kindly consented to come out after he finished up with his present job. He came knew exactly what to do and the way to do it, and as promised. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient! I will call on A-1 should I have a problem again.

Our water heater pilot light cease functioning. We spoke with Ed over the phone. He gave us a quote for replacement gas valve thermocouple and eventually the entire unit. He was available to come for the fix and ed was easy to speak to, he took his time to explain me a lot of things which I appreciate. Definitely a good man to keep for future use. For us so yeah, more life to our water heater tank that was 15 years old, it turned out to be replacement.

It's not a task to replace it, nor lots of choices in the industry Considering that the water heater is 50-gallon with power vent.
My water heater begin leaking after 10-year usage.

I contacted 4 firms, Ed is the person who offers the right version for the replacement ( according to my study ) to avoid any possible risk of re-piping in ventilation, hot-water recirculation and T&P.

Cold showers are no fun. . .my water heater pilot light was out and that I could not get it . It was a closed system so I was stuck. I called several companies and A-1 was. Ed came out same day and replaced the broken area (a thermocoupler). He had the task before anyone even returned my phone done. A+ in my book. Thanks!

Attempting to take care of our clogged sink promptly after Drano did not work, as in make it work ASAP I hunted Yelp up to find a plumber that was 5-star in my area. I called A-1 at 8 AM and was moved instantly to Ed who came out at less than an hour to take care of the problem in 15 minutes. He takes pride in his work and also taught me a bunch of things about pipes and other construction matters because he is exceptionally seasoned building mansions and hundreds of houses. I will consider them for HVAC and would call A-1 to my future plumbing difficulties.

Another plumbing company stalled in the last minute, and I had a bathroom. I managed to talk to Ed right away by phone, and he asked the right questions to evaluate the problems and be able when he came out to repair them. His support is friendly, professional, clean, and he managed to solve the issues and make repair recommendations in order that they wouldn't happen. If I want assistance I wouldn't hesitate to utilize, thank you Ed.

I live in Sonoma county and I have some property in San Jose. My tenants called me around 2 a.m saying everytime they flush their toilet their bathtub is filling up with water. I have used A1 Plumbing before for my other possessions so that I gave them phone. Ed came out to the property early this Saturday a.m.
According to my tenants it took him about one hour in a half to fix the problem. Ed was professional, curteous, cheap and also wore booties to protect the carpet. He phoned me in the close of the endeavor to give me a play by play of what all happened. For all my plumbing requirements I'll be calling them in the future. (Too bad they dont support Santa Rosa)

Ed was on considerate and time, help track down. I would give 5 stars instead of 4 if he assist restricted the dishwasher line, asis we can't use the sink, also, at 2 hours rate charged he might have replaced the price and capped the line.

I phoned pipes to fix a gate valve. I thought that I need to call a plumber. After obtaining an outrageous quote of 500 dollars and being told that had to be achieved and that the plumber proceeded to snap the nipple. I really could do the fix myself. That meant replacing valve and jackhammering the concrete. Took me two hours. How the initial quote was 500 dollars was beyond me. Not seems these men will jack the price up. Also, when I called I was informed there was nothing that could be done since the bill was closed. Poor customer service.
