I could not be more happy with the job that was done and allow me to start by saying I was initially, not excited about this massive job. That all changed after meeting the Ace Plumbing & Rooter team.

Each the communication was superb! I had Feras and a thousand questions replied them and knowledgeably. I had done a ton of research in Feras and materials summarized my options obviously, the advantages and disadvantages of each option and let me make an educated decision. He answered every other question I could think of, and talked though longevity of each option, substances involved factoring in my sources. I had complete trust in the group. In addition to all that, I believed Feras was a really kind person and was involved from day 1-wrapping up the project.

He literally does not care about his clients' needs. It's about his schedule and he is unapologetic. The contempt shown is some thing, although maybe finding a plumber is hard to do.
Where water was intended to be away from 8 am to 6 pm We'd Scotty have his team add our HOA and water yards. Besides beginning to the first day, he was compelled to find the job done for 30 units done in two days that seemed absurd. Day 1 water was away until 7 pm and there were apologies. On Day 2 at 6 pm and it was apparent they weren't any where near completed on 4 units, he actually said he would be achieved in an hour rather curtly against what his own worker stated, and he wanted the men name so that he could reprimand him. He was concerned about do it in two days that he can care less that maybe people need to use their water for things like even the toilet, showers, or dinner. Regardless he would not be"micromanaged" and now that it's past 9 PM and they are still nowhere near done that he won't even make eye contact. When I asked him what was going on he snidely said"do you want me to leave now?" Which would leave 6 units without water as if I was the one wanted to attempt and have two days work.

The reason why I am raving about these is because there was a hiccup with the owner called me to address the issue and provided a resolution. This is the way you know a business knows how to make things and actually cares about their customers. Thank you!
There is several reasons why Ace Plumbing warrants 5 stars. They were quick with scheduling an appointment. If I need plumbing service. . .that means I need someone to help mend the issue ASAP. The team is friendly too and super responsive.

Called to get an appointment in the afternoon and have an appointment the exact same day! Bonus two was that the service tech showed up on time, and was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He diagnosed our issue, which was not anything to do with an air block as we'd concluded from a lot of YouTube sleuthing (yes, best to leave these things to the real professionals), and restored our hot water pressure. Yeah! I'd definitely call and use Ace for any plumbing needs.
We tried to DIY and correct a water temperature dilemma with all the shower and replaced with a thermostatic mixing valve. While we fixed this part, we made another problem and began having issues with our hot water pressure. We could not figure out how to fix as a low pressure shower is too depressing to begin a day it so called Ace.

Joel and his crew replaced the water line that removed/laid down concrete in front yard, and goes to the water meter from our house. Joel is quite knowledgeable, and answered the many questions that we had in detail. He worked together with us to ascertain what needs to be performed in our situation, and was supportive even though we left a change to the design of work. Joel frequently came by, and responded right away to our calls and looked at the region, to be sure that he was providing the details that was most precise to us. We couldn't be happier with the job and are working with them to replace the rest galvanized pipes in our house. We recommend Joel for pipes and concrete work!

Ace Plumbing has been professional and responsive. Our garbage disposal stopped functioning, so our kitchen sink has been backing up and a mess. We needed help fast. Ace responded quickly and determined the job was not in fact the garbage disposal, but the simple fact the previous house owner ( who had been in fact a plumber) had not caulked our sink in place. Incredible!
Anthony Geraldizo of Ace Plumbing got our garbage disposal functioning fixed our sink, repaired our loose faucet while he had been at it, and also did a complete and thorough job. We are sure to call Ace Plumbing again if (if ) we detect more"improvements" put in place by our previous house owner!

Derrick came to trouble-shoot a toilet. He was instant, coming in his appointment time. He looked in the toilets in our home just as a precaution and also fixed the issue with the toilet. He shared what he was doing with me, which is nice - I love when I am able to learn just a little something when fixes are made. Ace was called by me since I've seen their trucks so in my neighbors use them that is a good sign. Making a consultation with Ace is simple and I will use their services again in the future if I have another issue (cross my fingers I don't!) . 5 star service.

Update: the proprietor apologized and called and offered to make things right. At this point the WH has been at a lower price point, done expediently and is set up by a different company. I'm revising my review from 1 to 3 stars to await the owners ability to step in and acknowledge a need for improvement.
I'm disappointed that this firm has reviews that are high, but strung us together and was so irresponsible with our time, money, and hassle of no water.
(3) Monday morning my renters had gone the full weekend without hot water. Tenant am saying nobody had shown up. This renter actually went to operate from house to adapt the appointment. When I called to ask the technician, he stated that after those shops weren't open on Monday and he would reschedule us no neglect for the day Tuesday 9am. He requested me to send photos of the water heater. He called back saying that he would have to raise the price because we are in need of a special kind of unit to ~ $ 4k once I delivered him more photos. Now my renters were super upset, and I had lost trust in this firm. He said that perhaps he would lower the price but he would need it.
I've noticed that once they've built up their achievement successful builders on Yelp tend to get complacent over time, and for these guys they feel it's acceptable business practice. But I am posting this make it obvious that this is behaviour that is unacceptable to consumers such as us, and to warn others not to blindly trust the reviews of long past.

Untrustworthy. My water heater started leaking on a Friday afternoon, and I am really regretful that I trusted these guys. By Friday onwards , they didn't appear on three times left me along for 4 times and then doubled the price .
They would promise that he was advised to go out and I would wait call backagain. On the third call I implored technicians to be changed by them. Around 3pm they stated they were sending a technician out around 4-5pm. That technician called me to ask for the model label, so I had the renters text that sent it together. He called back stating that pricing could be $2500 based on the model and precisely that product couldn't be guaranteed by him. He said contractor supply stores weren't open that day nor the following day, so it would be best to wait until Monday. Otherwise could I be okay with Home Depot quality water heaters, which he believed weren't reliable? I thought it strange that Saturday/Sunday stores weren't open, yet Monday was Columbus Day and he would anticipate them open. I increased this but he had been convinced Monday they'd be open so we scheduled for his Monday 9am coming (he would buy at 6am).
(1) Friday afternoon when I called they suggested they'd send someone out at 10pm but would have to charge me a $170 premium. That technician did not appear. My renters thankfully figured out how to turn off the water on their own. The technician texted me saying that he had shown them the way to turn off the gas, and would return in the morning, but turns out that he was trading texts, but did not physically make it on site. I called him did not reach him and 8am , so left a message. We never heard from him again, and suffice to say, he never made it morning.
In recap, there wasn't a single physical visit to the home, but they quoted me a price after asking for a photograph of the model label, then dropped the price on the 4th day knowing my renters were desperate by then, stating it's a more complex model than they believed, needed special order, but promised somehow no neglect reschedule for another morning 9am. I've since gone ahead to hire another plumbing firm who's getting the job done for 2900 and managed to confirm with a direct site visit in a couple hours of my call (that they did not charge me for).

Carlos is a life saver! My spouse and I came home with a new born baby. It was a challenging case because a wall hung toilet caused the clog. Carlos figured out a way without removing my wall toilet saving me money and time to fix my dilemma. Carlos is my hero and go-to plumber!

I've had two experiences with those men. Neither one have been positive. Called them another day for a crisis. Woman place me on hold and never came back. I tried again and same thing happened. Telephone rooter and plumbing and they took care of me. Another time needed a man out to replace a toilet and he not only brought the wrong one but it was the wrong size as well. It was a comedy of errors. Call another corporation and I needed to send him off. Do not recommend in Any Way

As a homeowner in SF, I always worry about the costs of home repair. After several quotes, Leo Soto from Ace arrived, quickly accessed the leaking issue I had, and while some gave me quotes to mend it in $800 to $3500, and a no less than a week waiting period, Leo Soto arrived in, repaired my issue immediately, was professional, clean, considerate and explained what is was going on. $185 dollars later, NO MORE LEAKS! Thank you Leo to your fair and fast service!! Ace Plumbing & Rooter is going to be the very first call I make with my plumbing issues!

Why does your water heater neglect over the weekend? The people at Ace were quick to respond and professional, when I had a leaking hot water heater. A heater was installed by them away. When this warm water heater neglected to warm after 5.6 years, the Ace staff replaced the faulty component. Wouldn't you understand, the substituted part failed . Now out of warranty, Jonathan substituted the unit personally and worked together with me. I must say from Jasmine who answered the telephone to the installment afternoon on Sunday morning on Tuesday, we're pleased to have a miserable situation resolved.

Leo from Ace was fantastic! Our sink was backed up and the problem was traced by him to the outside of the house - a job. However, he was very flexible and friendly. Our sink functions like new!

I had a fairly bad experience with ACE. I hired after weeks of following they weren't able to complete the job and a code breach to be fixed by them with my own water heater. I managed to find a plumber to come out and do part of their work but the permits needed to be pulled from the owner with the permit of the contractor. The proprietor never pulled the permits even after telling us he'd. I called their front desk did not hear back, help and follow up and asked for advice. The plumber claimed his hands were tied, so it was all up to the owner to pull on the permits. It seemed like the proprietor care to pull those permits or did need to. He allowed his workers to take on a project they couldn't finish. I won't use them. Unprofessional, expensive, badly run and it seems like the proprietor is a real piece.

I'm still angry about how Mustaffah took it on himself to give an Sloan valve to get my toilet to me. Four decades later and every time I poop I must flush the toilet at least four times to prevent getting"seconds." I am angry at myself really that I didn't make him march right back to the plumbing supply store and receive.

Do not call Ace, If you don't have enough time to waste! I made an appointment for Ace to fix our leaky bathroom. When I called, they said the soonest was the day, so I took it. I rushed home from work to meet with them for the appointment. I called them to confirm. Yes, Scotty was supposedly"on his way". Well, Scotty must be lost somewhere since he never revealed, and never bothered to call.
I figured out that Ace was never likely to show up after waiting an hour beyond the supposed entrance window. For forcing me to continue looking for a plumber, although disappointed and frustrated, I ultimately should thank Ace I ended up locating a run and excellent plumbing company take care of everything and to come out. Sewer was backing up through my garage. They cleared it out, came right out and haven't had any problems since. Quick to respond and fair price.

Ace Plumbing came out right away as soon as we predicted. Anthony, our plumber, was professional and polite. We really love the service and we will call them again in the future!

He came over in 45 minutes and (amazingly) rebuilt the entire toilet from the inside out with new components to make sure it was in prime order and would have no potential issues (i.e. leaks). This was late Friday night that makes this more notable. He mended them even though it was not part of the original leak and also identified problems with the installment, and had all the components on the truck so we did not have to wait.
We had a toilet leak in a building we have in San Francisco on a Friday evening which has been flood the lower floor (oh no!) . Needless to say, we needed a plumber right away. We called 6 emergency plumbers and Anthony Geraldizo at Ace was the one.
