I can't say enough great things about these guys.
San Francisco Victorian and Edwardian houses are beautiful but they come with the joys of San Francisco pipes, which can be as antique as the house.
They also have always come in time or even sooner, which is wonderful.
We've used Heise's Plumbing 3 times today - theydealt with clogged sewer lines and also've replaced a broken hot water heater. They've always been courteous, exceptionally professional, and timely. When I've needed to leave voice messages, then they have been returned within seconds.

Heise's Plumbing is since we purchased our home 37 decades 19, the plumbing firm we've used. Fred dave and their employees have come through for: replacement of pipes to gas broken sewer pipe beneath home, installing water heater replacements, toilet replacement and a new dishwasher. I have to mention that leave it neat. They are friendly and professional. Five star for sure.

Called and scheduled someone to come out. No display. Called no display. Called again. So I canceled and called my handyman. Do not recommend.

I understand they have such a reputation.
Thanks guys, so very much. .
Not only was he really knowledgeable about this particular issue he gave me a fair bid and follow up appointment...
It's such a relief to deal with its employees that treat their customers with high notch professionalism, honesty and respect and a business. .
Tomas showed up ON TIME . . .with all parts and tools needed... He worked quickly, found the problem, replaced the pipe ( making certain to show me the deteriorated/rusted out pipe). . Clean up after conclusion and Then he proceeded to patch the outside stucco. .

Our home in Daly City had a plumbing issue at 10:30 pm Saturday night. I predicted Heise's plumbing and talked to Sam. He had been at another job across the bay. He came in the morning and fixed the kitchen sink and drain pipes going down to the lower level. He was very favorable and had been early. He left the location clean and did a fantastic job. We'd call him again.

On November 21st I had. He had been on time and very professional. This is actually the third time he's done work for me. He's outstanding.
I've had a faucet in my bathtub. I had been told I might need tile work but Heise could fix the faucet. I said no problem. I had been given. Arrangements were made to have the faucet now, fixed. Tomasz arrived and set up a fixture that wouldn't demand tile work. He was professional and polite. Heise is highly recommended by me

Responsive, effective, and professional. I had a quick turnaround and had some slight issues. I guys, Excellent job!

They confirmed one of our toilets had a problem following one of the 2 most plumbing contractors gaslit me telling me there was no problem. It might be observed visually and the problem involved a component that was moving and objectively quantified. But they kept lying to me. Maybe not Heise's. Their technicians work fast and are honest. The price is affordable and that I do not need to wait for to find service.

Sam came on time.
The next evening, I attempted to get a plumber here but they were completely booked.
Sam managed to seal the bathroom so no longer water leaked.
The seal at the base of the bathroom had worn out so water puddled on the ground.
I was truly impressed with how quickly he finished the job.

I had a faucet from the 1960s which leaked and wanted it replaced. They and called Heise were very friendly on the telephone, saying it shouldn't take more than an hour to do the job and quoting me an hourly rate.
I made an appointment to get a 8:30 to 9:00 window. The guy appeared at my door at 8:30 sharp. He actually had the parts for the faucet, and got the job done in about 20 minutes. I could not have been more satisfied!

We have utilized Heise's Plumbing . We called them to receive exhaust piping and our bathroom replaced. They are always professional and prompt. This time I met Tomas. He was very knowledgeable, and quick, on time . I am able to expect that Heise's can do a great job with my plumbing requirements.

Bailed me from a crisis plumbing shake YET AGAIN this week. The team of the entire Heise and dave, you are the best!

Charge by the hour be careful. I have used them twice and each time that the project wasn't done properly the first time. They charge longer and come back. Very unhappy with Heise not getting the work done the first time. You will wind up paying more than you think.

THANKS AGAIN TO DAVE AND ALL THE EMPLOYEES AT HEISE'S PLUMBING
We cannot say enough about how much this small business is appreciated by us.
They're capable, dependable, and honest. They have even saved us money by pointing out the things covered by the warranty, and by suggesting cost saving ways to control pipes issues.
Many thanks to Dave of all HEISE'S PLUMBING and to all his employees for the excellent support they've provided over the years to people.

As soon as the delivery people left, Heise's was predicted by me for assistance with related plumbing issues. They were searching for the following day or a scheduled appointment , and I said that when we could get someone to come by following 3:30 this could allow my school teacher to hurry home and meet them. This way, I wouldn't need to take off work . After hearing that, and realizing I had been home from work in that instant, Heise's said"sit tight for a little, let's check something." And they said one of the men had just finished a job when I have called back them a little and he could come over. He had been there within 20 minutes. After there, and consistent with our experience before, he did the work efficiently and professionally, and he was a nice guy to boot.
Anyhow I'd recommend Heise.
I hesitate to give Heise rating because the better its reputation, the higher the demand for the services. And increased demand could lead to 1) higher costs and/or 2) it becoming more difficult to book them when I need them!
Now marked the 3rd or 4th time that Heise's has bailed us. I took off work for what I thought could be a 90-minute break from work, so I might be home for the delivery and setup of a brand new refrigerator bought from Best Buy. I shall spare the reader all of the details, but suffice it to say Best Buy delivered the refrigerator but fucked us.

We had a kitchen sink, so I told my wife I GOT THIS! I only ended up making things worse, not in a flood. Fred fixed the slow emptying, showed up on time, and fixed all of my good intentions. Superior service and friendly also. Found out they also do if we convert into gas fireplace, gas plumbing work will call them.

Wow! On time explanation of what had to be achieved, and I believe the kitchen was cleaner than before he came, after Gilbert left! Very appreciative. Highly recommended.

I called and spoke to Dave about a issue with my sink. I was told by him what he thought that the issue was given to send out somebody, but proposed a step for me to try. It turned out to be a simple fix. When we've had bigger problems they've come out and done a great job. They're reliable, affordable and fair.

Some plumbing Issues Requiring three visits:(2) Installed new faucet and spout fittings (which I bought on Amazon) for the bathroom sink. Some difficulties. Cleaned out horrible hard gunk.

#1 & #2 - $486 labor which included some minor Pieces
(3) Cleaned out bathtub drain after #2 actions above caused a backup.
The way, all the visits immediately scheduled and the times stuck to.
Perhaps if I'd run the bathtub water after #2 and had noticed that the backup, I could have had it would not have needed # 3 return visit for that $152 charge and emptied out at the time. Or, maybe not.
#3 - $152 labor, no parts
(1) Installed new washers to the bathtub fixture.
Costs:

Overview: I have worked with Heise's Plumbing and have found them to be honest, reliable and thoroughly educated. The single drawback is that they charge a premium for components as well as an hour minimum labour (now $152) plus they do not disclose that there'll be a $152 minimum service charge at the time that the appointment is made or during the consultation.
I had been billed $260.50 for the repair ($100 for the part, $152 labour, and $8.50 taxation ). I was frustrated and shocked by the price. There seemed to be a bit of a markup on the expense of the part but not to become mad. I saw comparable components being sold online for around $50-80 (determined by the specific model which I didn't understand ) so figured that whatever markup they billed wasn't sufficient to become mad about. However, I was disappointed to learn that the labour cost was high because an hour labor charges. I wasn't made aware of the when I made the appointment during the appointment. I don't find it unreasonable to have a service charge but think that it ought to have been revealed. If I understood I was being billed an hour's labour I would have asked Mark to tighten my faucets before he left. My toilet sink and kitchen sink faucet had been both loose and I always found it annoying that every time could proceed. Since, I did not want to pay a plumber to come out to fix them and could not work out how to tighten them myself, I have been living with faucets that were jiggly. But, jeez, if I understood that I would be billed an hour's labour I would have requested those faucets to tightened. It could have taken them 5 extra minutes and I would have gained a customer for life. But that's not what happened. I had been amazed by a $260.50 charge a month later (it took them a while to ship it and, since I travel often, awhile for me to come home to receive it) and that was somewhat disheartening. In general I could recommend them and am still thankful to Heise.
Mark was very educated and productive. He informed me that the component that needed to be replaced was a one and that he had it. The bathtub faucet was fixed. Not merely was it repaired, but Mark corrected the settings so that I might have better control of the water temperature and volume of water flow (I barely had some controller before) and correctly secured the device (it was used to jiggle before). I had been amazed and promptly asked if they also do gas line work too (they do) and whether I might find an estimate. Mark informed me that estimates were given by someone and recommended that I call and make an appointment when I'm all set to do the job to find an estimate. Mark then stated that a bill could be mailed to me left and afterwards.

After the faucet broke again (for another reason) almost a year afterwards, I knew exactly who I'd predict. They informed me that was roughly 4-5 hours afterwards. My bathtub was water but, due to their service I knew I did not want anyone else. So, being a conservationist, I spent another 4 hours busying myself, trying to use as much of the water instead of waste it. I cleaned the vehicle, scrubbed the garage, washed the floors, etc.. I was SO happy to see him and was tired from carrying buckets of water !

I first contacted Heise's following the deal on my bathtub shower broke off and became unusable. In the time that I predicted, I'd already understood that the part needed (to repair the issue) was discontinued and therefore no longer available for sale. I was further cautioned by several plumbers which I would need to replace the whole unit instead which would result in them having to cut a hole at the shower wall that would likely result in a need to replace the damaged slab (I have 1.5" SOLID Granite slabs functioning as my shower wall) which would likely hurt the bathtub which would damage my floors and... well... you understand. I only have ONE toilet and could not afford a remodel so I expected it would continue until I was able to afford a bathroom remodel and jimmy-rigged a deal with vice grip pliers. Before breaking, it lasted just a couple weeks and I was no longer able to use my shower. Desperate, I called. When I called Heise's Plumbingthey informed me that they were booked up BUT referred me. To my own amazement, the hardware store had the component and I was able to buy and replace the component myself for less than $20. Heise's Plumbing did not charge me for that information and saved me a whole lot of money.
