Used them again today for a unit for an urgent situation I own. Called them early AM, before 8am, and they picked up (I wasn't sure when they would because it was so early). They arranged some time with my tenants, and had a plumber. George went to the unit, what he did to fix and diagnosed the problem, fixed it, kept me updated on everything, and supplied me with an excuse on the cause. Great service! At this point, I will not use any other firm for plumbing services, I'm very happy with Advanced Rooter Plumbing, and particular thanks to George!
After they said they would come after I was given an estimate by taking a look at the occupation were excellent came. Which was reasonable and was performed quickly with little mess. I would call them. Won't use anybody else.
I will say he made me concessions and that ultimately, he would not accept the past $500 I owed him, did everything in his power to make sure I was happy with the job, and I'm. So while I was not pleased from a scheduling standpoint, he is a professional who does enjoy an honorable man and his job - so what more could you ask? I am certain that he lost money on this previous job, and I feel it was a fluke because the first two went so smoothly. His reputation is significant when he realized he made me nuts he did everything in his power to repair it.
Adam Reisz and I had a little love hate on one he did for me. I met Adan when my Carpenter (who is not related to him) recommended him exceptionally having worked with him many times over the previous ten decades.
He's done 3 tasks for me, piping in a kitchen sink and dishwasher moving cast iron heating pipes and assessing my gasoline lines, replacing leaky pipe and updating the meter together with con ed. Most importantly, he also straightened out the plumbing permit a GC who did my toilet failed to document - that will be a nightmare with all the building department- and Adam mended that issue for me in a really reasonable cost.
While the previous job was a scheduling nightmare and at times I wished to kill himI discovered later there was a true health crisis in his family- not just an excuse- and I assume since my home happened to be vacant (its for sale) my job was put off and took considerably longer than I would like.
Im telling the entire story because I think the true mark of an excellent contractor is not that everything always goes smoothly, but rather how they manage it if it goes wrong, especially if you're working in a hundred year old home where something ALWAYS goes wrong- and Adam did manage it like a pro, that is even more commendable considering how unprofessionally I behaved when I became frustrated with all the time - I did a fantastic bit of yelling and I think a good deal of contractors could have said forget this crazy lady, I don't want this- walked away - but Adam listened to me bitch, calmed me down, took responsibility and completed the job.
I also know him to be more active in his area and philanthropically minded- which is just another incentive.
