American Leak Detection - Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties

Greg immediately located our outside water leak's vexing source. He was prompt, professional, clearly explained everything, and answered all our questions. While here, he also preemptively checked our sewer line and irrigation system for any possible problems. The price was exactly fair for the work and as mentioned. We could definitely call them for any problems and strongly recommend American Leak Detection of Santa Barbara & Ventura counties!
(As an aside, every ALD office is independently owned and managed. Some reviews here have been published in error and are for additional franchise locations.

The owner and this company are amazing! They found the flow came into my house and helped teach us on issues that were potential! Nothing provided amazing information to help us in the future was over sold by them. They did not earn any drywall/carpet cuts which weren't vital and fixed the flow! They are tidy, professional and I would 100% recommend them! They also have contacts to help after the repairs are done. . .carpet/drywall/paint etc.. Im bummed this happened but so grateful for amazing professionalism their response and attention to detail getting the work done right!

Fritz's came highly recommended as the master. I have remote leak tracking on both. One recently developed a serious leak- going to from 1,000 gallons a week /wk! I asked my landscaper to check the irrigation and search for signs. Nothing. Fritz stopped the leak and identified the irrigation valve that was responsible.
In my property, I had a serious escape - it was that my pool could fill could drain down to just beneath the drain levels. ALD delivered their pool leak guy out after it couldn't be identified by my pool person and he sealed off the two drain leaks right away.
I'd say these guys get 7 stars out of 10! It is good to understand Santa Barbara has experts because water is scarce and precious. I also suggest getting distant water meter tracking because without thatI would not have be aware of the leak until my bill came- 3 months and 75,000 gallons later!

Outstanding customer service! As a franchise business owner of 12 decades, I go the extra mile for my customers. It is how I stay in business. Danny was courteous, educated and amazing in assisting us with our pool problem. Honest and upfront. Quite suggested.

The only complaint I have is they are very busy and it takes a couple of weeks for me to schedule the repair. My escape is minor and it's well worth the wait. Additionally, you need to differentiate them from other offices under precisely the same franchise"American Leak Detection."
My home had a slab escape lately. I worked with a pipes and escape checkers. I know American Leak Detection after a leak sensor messed up and they were recommended by the insurance company. Their escape detection is quick and powerful. Also, as the others did, they indicated a by pass solution rather than open the concrete slab. It is cheaper and has much less impact into the home. For him to fix it, it took about 2 hours. Greg is willing, professional, and very careful to explain the details. Now it is fixed and I am happy with this job.

A pipe under the slab of this house developed a water sound that was working.
Technology provided a slightly later time and called several hours prior to the appointment to allow me to know he was running . I appreciated the advance notice. He came in the time and answered all my queries. Then he got right to work and we had a diagnosis.
They request email address through the initial call since they bill and estimate by way of email.
A lady that was nice courteous called and answered me. She answered my questions. We scheduled a day and time for a technician visit.

I known as American Leak Detection, who delivered over Fritz. Where our leak was in under two weeks he located the specific place. Our yard isn't little. No trashing the yard a lot of skill. It was wonderful to watch him perform. I need all builders were like this.
That is the company. Leak detection companies are notorious, so let me save you the annoyance. No leak discovered holes abandoned over our yard, unearthed irrigation boxes, followed by jealousy of this failed project.

If any leaks happen, I would hire them.
That is an outstanding firm. Directed by Fritz, who's helped us they accomplish challenging jobs in a way that is friendly and trustworthy that is cooperatively. Their office personnel is intelligent and helpful with the requests concerning scheduling leak detection that is vague, and Fritz is superbly diligent and capable as he scouts the house for flows. A was discovered by his work for us. Leak at least two feet underground by a fracture in a 1 1/2" pipe, the repair of that has decreased the hourly leakage into negligible (and hopefully reducing our water bill shortly ).

I had American Leak Detection outside to find/confirm a slab leak. The service representative, Fritz, was knowledgeable and friendly. Though I did not have them perform the follow up work to the repair (having our regular plumber do the job ), I had been very satisfied with the detection service. Highly recommended!

I had been known to American Leak Detection from somebody who had a very good experience with them and I am glad I listened. I've my pool guy and a large pool that was leaking badly and I didn't have any idea where the leak was stemming from. I predicted American Leak Detection and Fritz, the head guy came out right on time (thank you!) And within an hour he found the leak to be across the jets into the pool and had tested the entire system and was able to fix it on the spot! Because I expected a major problem and bill to 15, I had been relieved. Not the case. He was thorough, lively, and excellent . He even looked in another water feature that I have had 3 leak people and the solution was seen by Fritz in moments. And it is fixable!
I would recommend this company and wish I'd called them worth the money and peace of mind to now that the rest of the pool, system and it is pipes is sound. And I got the issue. Very pleased.

For $450.00 they come to your house for 3 hoursput wet suits , get in your pool and pressure check all of your pool equipment. For $100.00 more your swimming pool actually gets tested for escapes the ideal way.
Save your money. For $350.00 that the KID walked around my pool for one hour, sticks some dye in some specific places and says, yup found your escape. Since he told me it comes in black, black stripes was used by him on the flow. Went out to check on him and he told me"Yeah I believe that black looks better than white" He whined. Then told me if I need white he would have to charge me. I wished to save $100.00 and now I look at this nasty black patch job daily. Save yourself the frustration and steer clear of these types of hacks.

The staff at ALD and greg were professional. Their quotation was honest and accurate, and the work was top notch. Though I had been hectic coping with my first water leak for a homeowner, they had the patience of saints and also I could not be happier. I had been recommended to them by Mercury Insurance and I could see why their work is trusted by them.

Outstanding service and on time. I had a problem with my wood floor in the kitchen. Called a plumber to find a suspected escape. He assessed under the dishwasher and sink and explained it was the clean-out or under-slab. Suggested ALD who identified it escape. The floor is currently settling down after not using the dishwasher for a week and all is well. I was prepared to rip the ground and slab up to locate the mystery leak but am so glad that I did not need to. Thank you ALD! Fritz L. runs an excellent performance with honesty. Should you suspect a leak the experience of his company is well worth every penny! I wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend him .

Fritz is a master in finding slab leaks. I watched him map out all of the water lines in my mothers house utilizing pieces of high tech equipment. He marked red tape on the spot when he was confident he found the leak. He sent out a nice young man named Wes the day, and the leak was where it was indicated by him. Wes stuffed in the hole with cement and made the repairs, the job required about 3 1/2 hours. I suggest the fix men Fritz, and the office staff are extremely friendly. 5 STARS!!

I noticed my pool going down on Friday and called American Leak Detection they were busy and couldn't get out for 10 days. The following day, it had gone two toes down Saturday. It is and we were having swim party and a large Sunday brunch for approximately 80 people. I left a message and called the crisis after hours number. I was called by fritz and after explaining the situation consented to come over which he did right. The returns were isolated by fritz and I managed to fill the pool for those events. Fantastic service and fantastic company. Thanks Fritz!

I have used American escape detection a few times during the last few years. To locate water leaks which are undetectable with out equipment that is good. There always eather on or very close to the leak. I have only ever delt wiyh KC man. Might be giving them a call. Ill update later if need be but I dought I will these guys

I did not predict American Leak Detection due to a poor review on Yelp. But we so were really satisfied so I called and went ahead and utilized them. They were for the appointment, found the leak, gave us an appointment in a few days, and gave. They're returning to fix the leak and I hope they will do a good job. I recommend them

We had a flow one year ago that was repaired by American Leak Detection. 1 year after, the leak occurred. We took responsibility for being unable to completely fix the leak from last moment and known as ALD and managed to repair the leak and they came in. They did, although it's tough to find an organization which still takes responsibility for their errors. Which is the reason why I'm giving 5 stars to them. Fritz has several years of knowledge and they're a group of individuals.
