We bought an older home and knew we'd have some plumbing problems. We've had Ben Franklin out many times and have always been impressed with their own technicians. Depart everything and they are friendly and always go above and beyond to keep the house clean.

I got an appt and called them. The plumber JJ was thuro, clean (shoe covers clean uniform) courteous and productive. I called for a bid and he explained my options, but spoke for my issue and potential potential hazards to avoid. The information that I obtained told me the plumber they shipped out was well advised and they understand their business. The bidding goes to my insurance co I hope they consider trade and professionalism understanding that Benjamin Franklin Plumbing provides rather than just consider price.
This was one. The plumbing had backed up so I predicted. Tech came and didn't have 2 minutes to hear what was occurring (save that tidbit for afterwards ). Proceeded to inform me he knew my pipe from the house to the road and the problem collapsed and I had to replace it. Having no other choices as the house was backed up I consented to have it replaced to the tune of 7k. He showed up to do the work, I left for an appointmment, and when I returned was a day worker digging into my yard without a Benjamin Franklin employee. Day worker asked for water because he was left with nothing in the summer heating and said they man told him he'd be. Tech said he wasn't feeling well and came back to finish but it's all done. I discovered a yard left ruins with low points and high points in my yard. Because he didn't excavate 8, bare spots. Planters left at 30 degree angles which I needed to proceed and re-level. Here is the tidbit...3 weeks afterwards, pipes backed up again. One travel 80 percent of the time so there is no way this was the problem and there are two adults in my house and Benjamin Franklin understands it because they said there was a toilet paper in there and had someone outside to clear the drain again. . .yeah fine. See pics below for damage. A company that was licensed robed of 7k me and my guess is the pipes will last to back up.
Fantastic business practices!
UPDATE: Benjamin Franklin Plumbing retains their word! Our problems were not adjusted and we were billed for 2 visits. Thank Mr Brewer, you and also the person I worked with, we were refunded!
Flush on my older water heater and christian came out to perform some drain and explained everything that he was doing. Showed me how bad the water looked as it came out and was straight forward and honest. And take chances and have water damage. His coworker were very professional and I went with Christian and a tankless water heater and did the job . While they were here working on my property professionalism and their ethics revealed.
I sensed overcharged. Needed a very simple cartridge needed the component from the manufacturer and replaced. Clean it and charged me for $85 and one hour to remove the part and reinstall. So I called Ben Franklin Plumbing, the initial plumber wasn't accessible. Were told that they were having a special and it had been no cost and would allow me to know the cost beforehand. Well they came out and replaced the component BUT not to allow me to know the cost beforehand It took them around 1.5 hours. When I questioned it told me was there"flat fee" based on the"description of the work found in their work book"... so I reluctantly paid the invoice. Thought it had been EXCESSIVE to get 1.5 hours of effort, so I named the corporation. Basically told that is what they use and charge someone else next time if I was unhappy.
Benjamin Franklin was phoned by me after finding a flow in my water line. The came following hours to inspect and repair but later recognizing that I had water damage they recommended a water restoration company to repair and replace the wallboard. The trip cost me $129 with no job getting performed but it was the right thing to do this I did call a restoration company to remove the walls and dry outside the area affected by the flow. The restoration firm called Benjamin Franklin to reinstall water heater and removed the water heater to so they could get rid of the wallboard. That is when my problems began. Benjamin Franklin reconnected the heater using the identical piping and left my house after. The pipe began draining after the tank all was shooting water all over my walls and refilled. I shut iff my water and called Benjamin Franklin to inform them. They scheduled a plumber to reunite on the following day. The following day a call was received by me ahead of the plumber and was told I would be billed for them to return and repair their job. I said I wouldn't pay as well as the customer support rep said that I would be called by a supervisor . The manager never called and the plumber never showed.
I had another company come out and look at my sewer system and was advised about four feet of my pipe had been ruined. They gave me a repair estimate of $15,700. I wished to get a more bids. Benjamin Franklin was among the companies I predicted. I showed the bid to him he said he wished to see himself. So he found no harm and put a camera the way. He indicated hydro-ing the traces to bring them back but was needed. Kevin was fantastic and took the opportunity to answer my questions & was empathetic to my circumstance. Thank you Benjamin Franklin for having such a great worker and I'll Be calling you when I remodel my bathroom
Worthless emergency service. I ought to be in a position to give you roads and find out if so when and if they could send someone out. Otherwise no time to waste and only proceed to the plumber among the list since there are 100's of them.
I called because of a water leak and the water being turned off to the entire house late at night. The woman would not even tell me without me giving out all my personal information and full life story, if they have anyone. That's crazy, either you do not, or you understand where your trucks are and what they schedule is. That they do not want to waste any time and want someone straight away, when a individual is calling for a plumber. I had already been through several plumbers by now and that I said that and I have to waste 15 minutes before she is prepared to tell me if she could help giving her a great deal of personal details.
My Encounter with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. First time went well, the technician addressed the problems, was professional, honest and charged me a price that is fair. I was quite impressed and I even referred them a number of my clients (I am a real estate broker). I called them a few weeks ago. The guy they sent was pushy, not quite professional (did not have all the tools together with him) and charged me around 3 times greater than another plumber charged me last week. My plumber arrived ready, was specialist, had top of the line equipment, spend time. Ben Franklin will NOT be recommended by me to anyhow. Be cautious, they are not fair and they will take advantage of you if you provide them the opportunity.
We had a gas leak in one of our bedrooms and although this fireplace turned out to be what one would think would have turned into a"challenge" since the gas line was completely encased in cement since 1972, Plumbers Austin and Caleb were able to get to the traces with minimal damage to the fireplace. From start to finish they were both very professional and personable, and shown that there's not any job"too challenging" for them! Honest and professional, they showed concern and proceeded I CAN NOT THANK YOU ENOUGH to your help today and ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectation! THANK YOU to Benjamin Franklin and equally for providing professional, quality and knowledgable pipes!
That is an update to my review. I did contact the company to verify the charge accuracy and speak rate that is high. I was called back with a service supervisor who discussed the fee. He was patient and very courteous in going through the charge. The customer support was great and he did work to solve it. I am bumping my review up for client support; nonetheless, I do think the prices are high with this service provider.
I called Benjamin Franklin the 24 hour emergency number approximately Saturday. The guy on the phone was helpful and got me on the schedule for that afternoon.
The Tech (Tom) came within the stated time estimate and that I got a telephone when he was on his way. Tom assessed the difficulty I was having, inspected the water lines in the loft, and listened to my thoughts along with me. He requested me to accept what he did throughout the day and explained everything in phrases.
Tom did a great job!!! Thank You!!!
Tom was quite knowledgeable and discovered and fixed the flow fairly fast. Before he left he made sure there were that I was happy with his job and no escapes.
On Friday night that I had water.
Tom even referred to as me a restoration firm to look after the damaged wall and floor, and was thoughtful and friendly with my puppies. They came within thirty minutes of his call!
So this firm is a fantastic plumbing firm. Understand what they're currently doing and their techs appears to be more responsive. I will also say that they as expected which is a first for a plumber and appear on time. The main reason is because of their pricing is OUTRAGEOUS. They also bill for a consultation that I don't think is right. Like their sister firm"Mr Sparky" they need to really change their pricing to accommodate many people.
Great service all around from very plumbers. Not pushy and gave me all of the info I was looking for and a few I had no idea I must be asking about. A little pricier than competitors but I always say, if you need it done right, call the qualified to get it done. My house is my investment and I'm not going to settle. Hopefully I do not need any services but I will be calling them again if I do.
This is the time having Benjamin Franklin Plumbing out to my residence. A couple of years ago the water heater thermostat moved out. That the water heater went out 8, this month. Both instances Haim was the tech. This guy can be detail oriented and is really professional, knowledgeable. Water heater replacement went I had him change out the vacuum breather to my sprinkler system which had developed a leak that is slow lately. Thanks again!
Fantastic experience!
After coming from a five day out of town convention, I discovered I had a leak in the tube that enabled water to go in the toilet. It was beginning into the bedroom and had flooded the bathroom. This was 9 am in the morning. I called one of those majors who told me that they could arrive approximately 4 pm but for an extra $125 dollars they would get out somebody earlier. I scheduled it and they would call when somebody became available. I happened to recall Rosie on the home a fixit talk show on 92.3. They proposed Benjamin Franklin Plumbing thus decided to speak them. I was told by them they'd have somebody out at no fee and within an hour. They could not have been nicer over the phone and told me that I will speak about later. I called and canceled another. What made the early birth is I live in a condo where they need to turn the water off to ten condos rather than mine. To make a long story short, I ended up spending $1700. My place was built in 71 and needed some plumbing help. What I love was that Dave, the technician remained to 6:30 pm from 10:30 am to get all of what needed to be carried out. He explained step by step everything he did and why. You might say boy was that this man taken. My husband was a builder who did this type of thing so I might be unable to perform it myself but know when it must be done. I call out that my bathtub was rusted through and has been leaking into the ground among other items. I would recommend asking for Dave he is clean considerate and explains all. If there were more stars to give him and this adventure.
Absolutely a positive encounter with these people.
Concerning the support plan. Benjamin Frankling Plumbing has a $14.99 per month support plan that will end up saving me quite a little cash for what else I know needs to be done. It saved me 15 and they waived the $65 initial fee.
Dave also referred to as a support for me personally that does restorations after a flood.Rocky Mountain Restoration-480-309-2524. They gave me an notion of how much harm might be done but needed to wait to allow it to dry before they could tell me for certain. I told them that it might be a while before I can afford what they might be indicating. They had the courtesy to advance me a dehumidifier that should it is run by me before weekend, it can really minimize the harm in floor and the walls. It is possible that as a result the job that is going to have to be achieved could be minimal. As they said it takes out the water can start. No credit card nothing a loan that is free. Nice to own Dave urge a bunch because my father's company use to perform resorations. Another thing I can't do myslef but certain know what to search for!
A big disappointment. Unless you're a millionaire and don't care how much $ you throw down the toilet COMPANY.
I called Benjamin Franklin for my plumbing issue after taking a skilled colleagues referral.
So that your due diligence and call other plumbers (such as Belsito plumbing) if you want the identical job done in a fraction of the price tag. BJ quoted the competition and $ 1,500. See the difference?!
The ceremony was fantastic but the price tag was inflated.
John, in the Southeast Valley area of Phoenix did a superb job. After renting our property for years we had multiple problems. He had us up and identified the the most cost productive and effective solutions and running in record time.
My experience was positive. Was specialist. Individuals at office were specialist. My issue is I invested $69 for the tech they couldn't flush my water heater due to water residue on valve. This I understand. Technician recommended water heater. I paid $69 for the tech to hook up a hose and drain it. When needed, so I could purchase one I'll be saving for a new water heater.
Ok, Upgrade that is Final. I have to admitI had no clue this would take as long as it didn't put in. This technology worked for 3 hours straight. Professional, and if he was finished the supervisor showed up and explained how they had new person along with a sick tech and none of this was an excuse and to this business customer service is essential and they apologized and managed it.They managed it much easier than I expected and I respect them for their possession of our issues with the part, pricing confusion and timings.
In the end now a tech by Haim's name came out and replaced our valve, they gave us a discount for all accidents of materials and time changes. They did this in their own, I was impressed.
This does come with a 2 year, parts and labor guarantee. I like that, and they place it into writing. I am glad it worked out and that I look forward to using them.
To come all the way through nicely, that is a company I will work with it, although Everyone can make mistakes. I'd love to think someone would do exactly the same with me.
