I like these people. I trust their work ethic and their work. They ensure I know the cost to perform it and the work to be performed. And thus far, they've sent their finest personable people. But I'll bet they simply know how to employ quality people.
I am happy to advocate Birmingham Plumbing, Heating and Cooling according to their exceptional work for me. This is my year for many things. It was plumbing. Jon Sweet came and replaced two places that had been set up incorrectly years past, and he replaced a flushing device for a toilet. Subsequently Scott (oh no, I forgot his last name) came on an emergency telephone to repair an AC device that a few window installers wrecked. Scott took extra time (without charge) to educate me on the workings of my pool plumbing. I am anticipating another Birmingham technician to repair my 18 year old furnace.
He determined the sink had to be plunged, When the serviceman got there.
Next time I'll do due diligence.
I had a clogged sink, and believed I had it snaked. The serviceman was very professional and did an excellent job.
I understand that companies have service call fees they collect, regardless of how much work is performed, but I believe I was taken advantage of, for the work that has been performed. I am not sure if I would use this company again.
We've worked for years with Birmingham pipes. The entire staff from owner to Colleen at work as well as their technicians (notably John) are the nicest to work with. Their name might seem"Birmingham fancy" however their prices are fair and they really care about their clients satisfaction! I highly recommend them!
I'm disgusted as to how much I spent. I called them because they were recommended by a friend to me but I felt as though I had been cared for. They made more money off of me to get a fix that was simple than a few people earn a month! It's disgusting I get it. . .everyone deserves to get paid but charging what they billed -double is awful. What a way to make the most of the community they support. No responsibility taken to their job! What happened to"customer support?!"
I've an old home in Bloomfield and now I've utilized Birmingham plumbing many times. The men are thoughtful considerate and diligent. They worked yesterday to solve an issue that arranged for this to be fixed as soon as possible to complete the job and turned out to be electrical. I don't have any reservations in awarding these men 5 stars because they despise them. Great company to work with.
I receive a drain snaked every spring as preventative care. I decided to try Birmingham Plumbing Heating and Cooling. I scheduled a non-emergency appointment almost a week beforehand. Birmingham's plumber ripped off us. They billed us 2x exactly what us billed . RooterMD had completed the week and Birmingham was. Needless to say I shall never call these folks.
My wife met them and I was not home. They would have walked away empty handed, if I would have been home. They use my wife's not being attentive to the cost which is worst. I would not trust Birmingham Plumbing Heating and Cooling.
I had an incident in which my air would not kick . Andrea and I talked and she was the understanding person to cope with seeing that it was super hot outside. She advised someone to come out to me the following day. Come to learn, my cable guy, which I had cable set up the week accidentally snipped a cable that caused the furnace along with my air conditioning to head out. They could fix the cable and my house was again back in business! I am glad that the company was efficient and speedy. Thank you Andrea for all that you did for me that day!! They even called me after to ensure everything ran smoothly.
My wife requested a quotation for a broken furnace engine blower. The tech quoted her double what two other firms provided (the part was substituted for the reduced cost with another firm and works perfect). After she asked for a breakdown of the prices; labour and components, she was told that they are not able to provide that. They had agreed to not bill for the service call over the telephone when the job was performed that has been added back into the last quote. We travelled with a different firm paid our $50, and would not suggest working with a company who's not transparent and honest.
