Thanks to Buddy and his team.
His work team came out for a repair the next week and they had been equally as striking. They worked hard to get the task done and they then cleaned leaving my lawn looking better than it did earlier.
First off when I had a quote, Buddy came out personally at a time which fit my program. We had been quite professional and walked me through my alternatives. He also bid a price that has been very competitive.

It Turned off water was an internal wall escape from upstairs kitchen dripping down our window and called Buddy Grigg's plumbing. Together with our in-wall faucets on tile, and no access from under sink we knew it was going to be a big job and pricey! Buddy showed up with in a couple of hours, identified difficulty, and even with all the rusty pipes that broke during fix, he saved thousands in repair and extra price and installed a fresh faucet that was beautiful,

Buddy is the best! We have gotten to know him pretty well since there's always something going haywire here, but he comes out every moment, fixes the problem up, and so is always great about explaining to me what steps he's taking, and what measures we could take to reduce the visits he needs to make. Kitchen, bath, under the house pipes... Buddy can deal with everything (and has, in our situation ).

D) 3 celebrity. The talkative or only fluent English speaking employee is fine, but they all follow one rule, they simply take directives from Buddy. When work begins only problem is not there.
After a few weeks, I realized the hoses where exceptionally high pressure (normal hose spray nozzles wouldn't turn away by themselves that the strain was so high, and at least one tap dripped). I had asked following the setup the way they knew the pressure reducer was put correctly, they said"it is preset". That is complete bullshit because each strain reducer says right on it needs modification and evaluation annually (and you will find spec for residential buildings). Anyhow, my stress remains too high and I'm not so sure that they even set up the right one (it seems small in comparison to what there was there before). So I'm not happy.
B) 2 celebrity. Tons of plumbers do this, although if you are in a jam, A little predatory pricing. My price guess pushed to around $150/hour, but a lot of that was digging that isn't high value work in this circumstance. Buddy knows how to create the $$
A 5 star star 5 star on blank, on response time, and a 5 star on the job, but only time will tell on that, since they do not really test their job as far as I can tell. What brings down the score is this.
E) 1 celebrity. Buddy is currently A-OK with operating with no contract that is written. While this is folksy and expecting, written contracts are a big deal in company, for your protection too, insist on one and spell out the workout and go over every detail until he initially leaves and really prior to agreeing on that big price and you'll be OK. If not, who knows.
F) 3 stars. Like many contractors, do not expect them to reveal precisely when they say, it is approximate (3 hours late one day, about an hour another, but this is not uncommon in pipes ).
Maybe they are better than two stars, a lot better, but A to F above what I saw and gut sense, it is a pass next time.
C) 1 celebrity. His men appeared to spoil the main line with 20" of dirt until it was completely built/finished to water and never really tested that part for leaks under stress. It probably does not escape, but again, who knows for sure. They did test the above ground lines as it was completed, and the job looks professional and clean. Knowledgeable people are able to eliminate this 99% of their time, but...
A) 2 celebrity. Buddy"exits left" when the job actually begins, and never returns. He"hope his men", that is probably warranted, but he won't ever know for sure because he does not inspect their job, whatsoever, possibly ever, definitely not in this circumstance.

Buddy Griggs. This time I called Buddy Griggs and left a message. He offered to come out and give me a quote and called me back. He showed up on time, professional and respectful. He spent an hour and a half offering my estimate. He used a camera and scoped both sewer lines. He let me watch on his laptop, and he gave me a very bid. I asked for the price and bid to be before I decided in writing. That he emailed me a comprehensive bid using a 10-year warranty on all of the plumbing work described in the bidding that day. The price gap between bids along with Buddy's bidding was scary. The price of buddy was half of what others wanted.
Master Plumber. I am so glad I chose at Buddy Griggs.
I've a younger ADU, along with an older home built in 1938. At some point this past summer the sewer line to the home had some issues. The problem happened in March, although I had it snaked.
I was worried about the sound and chaos of having sewer lines replaced, concrete cut, sand and whatever else. Where Buddy got his crew, I really don't know, but they were quiet and delivered customer service. Each time that I came out to watch or ask questions that I had been medicated with customer service. And in the conclusion of every day there wasn't any wreck. My point is, even if you have a older home, or you want fast noiseless job completed, Buddy and his staff are who you want to call. They clearly care. And as I mentioned previously, it is scary just how much money I saved by picking Buddy and his team.
The day Buddy showed up with a crew of 2 on time. Buddy's staff is tidy and quickly. I might add that his crew of 2 are polite and respectful and understood what they do. After two days of work both sewer lines repaired and were replaced as needed.
I highly recommend this business if you would like the best deals and no mess.

Buddy is championship!!! Here we were on the Saturday and he reacted and got us moving w/ hot water. A boon has Alzheimer's & desires water to get several things every day! Need a plumber? This man is the best.

Buddy is! He gave us the quote and was also the most responsive when we had a trench-less sewer restoration. He responds to many different plumbing issues but he has taught me the way to fix a problem on my own. He cares about his clients and he is highly recommended by me!

We had a clog from the machine. His helper along with owner came said their machine is too large to get into a laundry room. They will snake from the cleanout in the driveway. If I wished to snake from the laundry room, they believe that 2 snake laps. I've had plumbers snaking all the way beyond the drain at the driveway and they believed that one snake everything or out I needed completed within a hour. I guess they don't want to bother to move anything. They want to snake from outside. You're out of luck, if you don't have an cleanout.
$189 to snake than 20 ft.
Guys had a lousy attitude.
Won't be calling them.
I can't see how they have rave reviews not to get pipe clogs.
PS 3 weeks after,my drains are clogged.

This kind of repair or maintenance isn't easy to address and no homeowner wants to have to do it. But because I needed to do it, his crew and Buddy made it as painless as possible. Highly suggested. I usually try and do my own repairs around the house, but if a plumbing issue arises that I can't do. I will call his crew and Buddy.
However, one stood out from all the rest and that he was easy to spot. . The first time that I called him, he answered the phone. I didn't get a voicemail message, an answering service or a staff office person who had to"take a message", did not know what I was talking about and could not answer any of my questions. He also set a time and he arrived. Perhaps not an estimator or a different employee. The person who was going to do the job came to look at it. That was very reassuring. He was priced competitively, but he had a way of convincing me that he had a lot of experience with this process and that people was very capable. He promised me that the occupation would be completed in time, without unknowns or any issues. He made the entire process sound less intimidating urgent and less insecure sounding compared to others. There was no pressure. I believe it was the confidence that he needed in his skill and in his"crew" that came across and that really made a difference to me personally. Contracts are not a thing that everybody deals with. His bid was straight forward and simple for me to understand. There weren't any clauses about"what if people find this" with added expense for unknown or unanticipated issues that could arrive. I understood what it was going to cost, what I was going to cover and that I could make a safe choice. He gave a fantastic price to me I could charge on and that I understood the job and the provisions he was going to carry out.
We have an older home. It was constructed around 1946 and the pipes are original. We've got the clay (terracotta) sewer line typical of that age linking our house to the county line and it has held up well. We'd been having intermittent blockage problems over the last 15 years that increased with time in frequency. I usually called a plumber snake the line and to come and that managed to keep things. The backing up became more regular and it arrived to the point where we needed to do something more permanent. I started doing research. There are basically 3. Line the existing pipe with a resin based item, leaving the pipes. This is a good option if your existing pipes are in good shape and straight. If it will work this might be your cheapest option. The third option is called"Pipe Bursting". With this technique there is a new polyethylene pipe pulled through the old pipe. The older, brittle pipe is gutted, and shattered since the pipe is pulled through it. The pipe becomes the old pipe in dimension, direction and trajectory. It is kind of like threading a very long needle, in the dark and lots of feet underground. That is what we needed to do because our old clay pipe was to disjointed to take just a lining. I would suggest getting as many bids as you can find. Pricing was all around the place and I could not figure out why there was a range for doing precisely the exact same thing in the prices. This isn't a cheap thing to do. I thought that because digging a yard and the road was labour that not digging up the yard was likely to be inexpensive. It is not. No less than 5 contractors and I talked. They were very nice, seasoned and had great reviews here on YELP.
He stopped by to take another look and check in with me, the day before he was to begin. Nice, personable, friendly. He told me straight up that he wanted the job. On the specified day he and his crew got to my house and put in a 10 hour day. They knocked out it . They worked hard and constant , barley taking a lunch break or any break . Remember. This entails digging out to the center of the street. They handled visitors easily. The job site was coordinated, their equipment was clean and well cared for along with the job seemed to stream effortless to me personally. When the job was completed, they cleaned up the job site and my yardexcept for the area where they needed to dig up the grass. . What they did and how they did it was nothing short of amazing.

We will definitely use him again.
We used Buddy Griggs Plumbing of our rental properties for one and he was dependable, instantaneous and accessible. He was able to go out to the property the exact same day and kept us informed about the issue. He gave feedback about the job and the issue he did to the property.

Thank you Buddy for coming over and installing my own water heater! Painless, nicely priced, excellent support. They came out and couldn't do and tried to use Quick Water Heater/Home Depot the task either time and wanted yet Buddy came out and did it within a couple of hours at a price. Buddy is nice and very professional. We have used a great deal of technicians who have benefits, really pleased.

Buddy made several visits to our house to find out why our sewer system was a wreck. Cameras ran and consulted with the inspectors and it turned our sewer system needed to be re-routed to the main. He and his crew came at 8am the day after Christmas (that I wasn't thrilled about!) , but worked quite hard for days to get the job finished. We had the job turns down because it was too difficult, but Buddy and his crew are specialists and made it a experience. He is now our go-to guy for all plumbing problems. He finished our job at 6pm. I used the form of their website and did not hear back from them. It is likely they have an explanation, so I do not want to hurt them. However, it's well worth posting in case others have a comparable encounter.

Buddy beat on all the others to our place to do an estimate. Points for that.
Our water heater eventually gave up the ghost this Halloween, and it was under warranty still, however it was a Home Depot Crap Special. I phoned six plumbers from the Santa Cruz region to get estimates for:"Go bargain with Home Depot guarantee for me then install. Install it if I've got it on web site. .
It was great and simple to work together and they held that a slot for us, despite the fact that we had been getting estimates and told them it would be at least 48 hours before we made our decision.
Hot damn. Buddy Griggs is a classic school genuine professional that is all-american.

The worker of buddy Nick provided a very comprehensive, fantastic quote, and straight, and answered every question honestly. All of his estimates were aggressive with all the other gamers, or lower than, and they cost less for the tank unit than any competitor that is neighborhood. His worker Nick was very respectful rather than a seller that is tricky.
Buddy and his guys are getting all our business from now on. Couldn't be happier.
The price was the price we paid. There was not any tomfoolery about fees or anything like that. I would expect these guys in my house unattended to do a job and well, which I wouldn't say about every service company I've ever worked with.

We called him the time to install a bathroom. Called him to replace our dripping hot water heater. He had a brand new one installed and operating from the evening. Both times he had been responsive, friendly, professional and took care of our property. Here is a man who understands the difference between a job site and a house! Bonus: from Buddy himself, maybe not a draw employee from a large company Since he's the owner/operator of the company, we receive service. Highly advised.

Service: Fast and Simple. We understood it was an easy fix, and he had been in and out in 20 minutes. The real'pipes' took no more than 10 minutes. I wish he'd have spent a bit more time doing this, although he did a lively wipe down the bathroom area with two drawers I provided to him. I know he's not a maid and it is not his job to wash, but when I am being billed $95 to get 10 minutes of actual company, I was hoping he could have been a bit more careful to stripping down the chair so I did not see balls staying.
My roommate called this morning to get a plumber to come out to our location to see that our clogged bathroom. I never talked to this individual on the telephone, but I had been there to answer the door, talk to the plumber (who I am assuming was Buddy), and pay the man for his services. I must say it was the simplest AND QUICKEST ANY PLUMBER COULD HAVE MADE.
Additionally, I believed that because he had been coping with a couple of college kids and not a family/older grownup, he did not require much time to address the niceties..which is nice, but it makes me feel like we might have easily been taken advantage of (I am in NO way suggesting that is what Buddy did, nor do I question his ethics )
Estimate/Price: This is where I had been a bit iffy. After evaluating the situation, Buddy reported the bathroom would require"augering" which he billed at $95 to do it. It looked like a cost for such an easy task to fix. I asked if this was the only way to fix it, and he flat out said"yes". Well that did not leave me so we agreed to get him fix it. When he brought from the part of equipment, it was essentially a version of a snake which he used to dislodge a wad of paper towels.
Frankly it was an easy job. It was a simple clogged toilet (from a night of wasted faculty kids fighting over one bath with the bathroom receive nonstop attention from both ends. . .bleghh) that couldn't be fixed with our shitty plunger and all us being girls, we did not wish to get down and dirty... So we called a plumber. We figured it should not take over 30 minutes with specialist help, and we're sick of seeing a gross toilet with water leaking within the bowl.
Timeliness: Prompt and punctually. I was surprised they could get someone out quickly. That he had been at out location within the window of time by 10am and roommate called around 8-8 that he estimated.
Overall: Friendly. Prompt. Efficient. He arrived in within hours of phoning and was outside in under 30 minutes. Would I use him again? Maybe. But I would definitely call different plumbers to get an estimate to see how much it would take to auger a bathroom for under 15 minutes of real service being performed.
I would really give him 4.5 stars but I figured when I gave him the full 5 stars this review would get overlooked by all the other 5 star reviews.

We had a sewer backup in our garage clean basin. I was hoping to have a plumber place the screws to me knowing at getting feces in my sink I was in emergency mode. Well.... Never happened. We're sooooooooo delighted with the service that is whole experience. We had been advised that the on call man could come out when we managed to speak with a live man. Steven Sowanick was there in around 15 minutes. We spent a couple minutes and he went to work. In working order more, A couple of minutes of running the cable during a couple clean out we and spots had been. With their 60 day warranty on drain snaking you can not go wrong. All in all the bill was less than a after hours service fee with superior and excursion charge cost for after hours emergency telephone. I will be using these guys for my plumbing work I anticipate.

Back up of line in the two bathrooms. . .showers and toilets all backed up rather than functioning. Called Buddy Griggs at 8 am and said they could send out a plumber . The plumber, johnny, said he would be here in and called at 10:15
Johnny was good. He clean up his work space and ensure everything was in working order Thorough, personable, fast, tidy, and puppy friendly;)
20 -30 WAS and minutes! He assessed the circumstance, gave me a quote of that seemed reasonable, and went work. He then used his camera to reveal that the pipes were clear and pointed out.

These individuals have everything together, support communicating, responsiveness, and office employees. Got a text from a tenant, toilet expired. "Steve" fulfilled the tenant at the property within 2 hours, diagnosed, called my cell for empowerment and solved the problem. Very delighted tenant. BGP makes me look good as a property manager. Experiences with BGP were the same. Highly suggested.
