I phoned Calabrese Plumbing on a Saturday after having a pipe burst under my sink. George answered my phone. For me, he was on holiday. However, he asked if he could FaceTime me to have a look at the issue. He recognized it looked at trouble and proceeded to give me recommendations of different plumbers since he was not able to do the work himself, he advocated in the region. Even though I ended up not using him, you can bet if I have ever have another need for plumbing, he'll be the first person I call. Thanks again!

I emailed George Calabrese at 6am after finding a leak within my toaster valve. After a few back and forths on email, he called to go over the problem I was having and indicated a fix I would do myself before spending money on it a week out was reserved. 7:30 did me and the fix worked and could go to work as normal. You can not ask for a fair person - refreshing. Thanks!
Several months ago George helped me to fix a problem even though I was not a client! George provided the best quote for re-piping and a water heater elimination. Ben did a great job with removal and George came back to help with disposal of the device. Pleasant and professional. Fantastic experience. George is my go to plumber today!
I'd like to add my opinion that is positive . George Calabrese answered the phone himself, when I called. He listened to my description of this issue: hot water coming out of water taps. He diagnosed the problem as a valve at the shower came and fixed it. He is trustworthy, efficient, clean, and friendly and his prices are fair. Alleluia!
I first used George a few months ago, to replace an outside faucet that split and had frozen , along with several smaller tasks. I got three quotes for the set of tasks. My plumber had said the exterior aspect couldn't be replaced without removing and replacing any heating system ductwork in the cellar. One of the 3 new quotes disagreed, but suggested removing the cellar ceiling in that area, which might have required hiring electrician and a carpenter. Another suggested installing a new one a few feet away and capping the faucet - a place that appeared to offer more easy to access. George began but when he got into the job discovered that it was not possible, given specifics of the house structure and ground level. Rather, he managed to replace the faucet. His bid was near the end of this scale, although not.
More recently, my water heater was replaced by him. The old furnace had been installed when the area broke and flooded, damaging the carpet in an adjoining room. Despite that background, the heater had not been set in a floor pan. George utilized a pan. He checked the drain ran a line to a nearby drain, and snaked it. This is an instance of his perfectionism. It is typical of his work, though I will not take the time to detail examples. Apparently, he thinks in doing the work RIGHT, instead of just . What a joy to have a plumber who's an perfectionist! Unless I happen to need him at the exact same time , in which case I advise you to employ somebody else I recommend him highly.
After he was able to diagnose the matter within the telephone on our initial call, I'd my water heater is replaced by George. I'd replaced the cartridge in our shower faucet a couple of days due to a drippy spout and it was only a matter of a few months where the issue returned . With the second time, I discovered so that I gave a telephone to George, my hot water pressure had diminished. He went to ask several questions and guessed that something has to be clogging the water line. As it turns out my older pieces of it would get sucked and Rheem water heater had known difficulties with the dip tube into the water line to cause the difficulties I was having with the shower faucet. He gave me some directions to verify that this was the matter, because he could tell that I was fairly handy and sure enough that I eliminated the cartridge and could see a white substance. I sent a picture to him and explained the material. He affirmed that it was dip tube. He did all of this on the telephone and through email, talk about service! Because of the age of the water heater it was only a matter of time, so that I had him replace it. No problems since. George is lovely and quite knowledgeable to work with, and he provides topnotch service. He got the job done correctly and at a price that was fair. Thanks George!

I have been in my house that was present for 20 years, and I repent that I met George lately. It would have saved me countless hours of headaches and service. I had a leak that George worked with me OVER THE PHONE at 530 AM to allow me to stop the Leak, explore and reestablish service. He has never worked with me before and demonstrated professionalism and care, as though he new me for 20 years. He will always be. Thanks George!
I've used George a range of times and have been quite pleased. This week, however, dropped out. I got a panicked call that the shower handle was sheared off and the shower ran. I got home to look at it and had the home water is turned off by them. George was at dinner with his wife and completely booked for the day. He told me exactly what to do in order to fix it and asked to look at the situation through facetime. I installed it according to his own directions, got the part he advised me to and went to home depot. I texted him and he said that it was debris from the cartridge, and to turn back the water off, take out the cartridge, and clean the valve's innards . I did that and all worked great! Got everything put together. George insisted that I text him back and let him know how it went, which I did. He called me to be certain everything was ok. This guy can't be beat! Thank you!
Calabrese Plumbing is a local, family owned company. George listens to my problem, answers the phone himself and arranges to come as soon as is convenient when II telephone. A pipe once broke on Thanksgiving and we had water spewing! We predicted Calabrese Plumbing and George told us what to do to restrain the flood came out to our home At no extra cost!!! I strongly recommend this company for anybody looking for fairly priced, professional, quality service.
George (the proprietor and only employee) of Calabrese was fantastic. I had a leaking pressure regulating valve, and he supplied an extremely fair cost estimate (for Northern VA, at least) for replacing it. He done the work in a timely manner, was considerate and clear about what he was going to do, and showed up on time. I wouldn't be afraid to phone Calabrese again.
