I discovered garbage disposal that was broken and a clogged drain in my new home along with The Pipe Doctor sent a plumber . Adam cleared the clog, was educated, and mended the disposal. I'd hire these men . Also, the beard of Adam inspires authenticity in his experience.

Quality of the work seems great. In an emergency I would not hesitate to have them out. . As they seemed over-priced, But will store around later on. I paid $800 for 3 hours of work (and a half hour talking their pricing).
They do not bill a good experienced plumber can do a better job in less time than a bad plumber. They charge by the job and have a publication price for jobs. . Nevertheless they are eager to reduce that cost if your job is deemed easier or you've got several jobs completed, etc.. I guess thats wonderful. . Or could be nice, but in fact knows what's going on. In the end I felt like I overpaid despite the reductions. For coming out even in the Event That You don't have them perform some work -- which is why I ended up going with them anyway 50 charges $ bucks

The guys at the Pipe Doctor managed to remove some of the hindrance and replace the faucet in only a couple of hours. Definitely a massive improvement!
Therefore a very simple kitchen faucet replacement does not sound like a major deal, but how the former owner of my house had the cabinet, counter, and sink installed, there was a lot of interference that a builder I'd doing other work would not even try a faucet replacement without breaking the entire sink.

Overpriced. I called Pipe Doctor to correct a loose kitchen faucet handle because my usual plumber was inaccessible, which was leaking. I understood it was a few parts from the deal. They had been on time. The plumber said I needed a new faucet that was whole, he had one, and it would be $600. I said no. He said he'd have to order the component but it would take 6 months. Then he said he needed to find an Allen wrench to check it out further. He flips the cover off, comes back tightens a twist, and is performed in 5 minutes. The flow was fixed, and now a month later it is still terrific. But, I had been charged $300 for the 10 minute privilege. The plumber gave me an uncomfortable feeling, so I did not even try to argue; I wanted him. It required an whole month to clear. Call them if nobody else is.

Be aware that if they do take credit cards, they must charge an agency fee, so I wound up paying to avoid that.
We had two issues - a sink where the warm water had ceased coming out at all (slowly ), and also our gas water heater, which while usable was very old, not up to code, and needed to be replaced.
I had several plumbers give quotes and come outside to look at the issues. Shawn's estimate was very aggressive (another company quoted $1000 more!) , and he was good at explaining what needed to be done in order to bring things up to code (our pipes are fairly old, and some previous work that was done was... intriguing ).
The sink, Then. They had to split in the drywall a bit to get in the corroded fittings, but did so neatly and with a hole as they could. Everything works again, woohoo! I intend to call Shawn next time we have a plumbing problem.
Shawn and his helper arrived immediately, worked effectively, and within a few hours that the new heater was set up (they noticed that the heater they'd brought had dents in it, so that they returned it and got a new one before I said anything) and everything brought up to code (finally!) .

Oh , I'm absolutely shocked to see Gary reacting to my first review of 3 stars! Not only did I think the whole situation was handled by him poorly I'm now really seeing that he is unable to be entirely honest. As, I had been sympathetic the loss of his grandfather. With that being said, all I said to Gary was you did not leave any manner of notifying your clients you had a household crisis. Prior to leaving town, because he DID NOT tell me. Had he left someone to take calls, or even a message on his phone I would have known! He first asked me to remove it and called me after reading my first review. When I told him I'd update it (that I thought I had) after the work was completed he demanded I take it down and also threatened to not come out and fix the error! At that point I will not be bullied or threatened and I told him that was up to him but that would be reflected by the update. His only saving grace in this matter was Lewis, who is that the workmen that came out. I informed Lewis that although I felt sorry for Gary's loss, his behaviour was totally unacceptable and I'd give them a update of only one star only because of his professionalism. Having owned my own small company, I really do know that a very simple phone message saying you will not be accessible or because of a family crisis I will be out of city retains your customers in the loop and your company running smoothly or if you've got a trusted employee to run things as you're coping with personal matters. All this was preventable.

Plumbing that is fantastic solutions. Shawn and brandon came in and mended our regulator valve. They left mess and connected everything back to our older pipes. They had pricing as well. They also advised us on other improvements that we may want to make without forcing us into doing all of them 28,, that they noticed. We'll definitely return to them for our plumbing requirements.

The Pipe Doctor did a good job my Kohler wall mount bath and shower trim. They showed up on time, provided a quote up front and completed the job quickly.

Additionally, they provided a very competitive cost with other plumbers' amount I contacted prior to selecting them.
The team were friendly throughout the process and arrived on time, answering a variety. They left my house in precisely the same condition as when they arrived and were cautious.
Needed to replace an aging water heater and they did work on a project. I knew the diameter of the doorway area was too narrow for an 18" heater, so they were needed to remove a portion of the adjoining wall to perform the replacement.

Brandon and Luis came out to substitute some pipes this morning. They exhibited great professionalism and optimism that relieved all of my worries and did a wonderful job! 5 stars!

They were in NVa lately to repair a small copper water pipe, broken due to the freeze. I called on a Tuesday evening, but received no call back. They didn't resolve the problem, at least briefly, and came that Wednesday morning during business hours after 8:00. First, their website says they provide quotes, but I found they do not - and when a business starts out clinging to you, it's obviously a terrible signal. One pipe was ruined, but in accordance with their plumbers, 2 pipes required to be worked because of their positioning; this seemed strange to me , but I accepted their evaluation due into work and to the need to get the business done. The pipes were found in an odd location, and from their description of the difficulty of the job, I anticipated it would take a few hours, require particular parts, components, etc., so I accepted their quote of $600. They ended with 45 minutes of time actually working on the repair, and didn't re-fit the copper pipes with copper that was new, but merely applied some kind of material and adaptor fittings. The water did function afterwards, so I requested an itemized bill and paid the charge. I was told I'd be sent one by email, but the bill I received didn't provide any information about the parts, labor, additional charges for the service call and quote, etc., and it was only upon getting that bill that I was advised there was no warranty on the job. I emailed this business 12 (twelve) times for extra information and a detailed invoice, with no reply at all. I later found what appear to be comparable adaptor kits online for substantially less than $50; but even if both kits cost $50 each for a total of $100, that leaves $500 labor for a 45 minute job - more than $500 an hour in labor costs alone.
A similar issue on a different pipe occurred about 10 days after, and I obviously did NOT call The Pipe doctor this moment. I phoned another local business (Kinnett), after-hours on a Saturday afternoon. They came, returned the call and fixed the problem only a few hours later. They replaced the copper pipe that was original in a place that required under the floor outside work and access, with new copper. They reacted more quickly, performed a broader and hard job provided the bill details and charged less than half of the cost of The Pipe Doctor. Again - Do NOT call The Pipe Doctor for any type of plumbing job - you will likely be for that which is at best work that is average grossly searching, and you will find many, much better options.

Shawn was great. Following the first visit my voicemails went unless I called again, although the very first time Gary came he was amazing. Gary was very unprofessional, he had been rude and dismissive. I made him a voicemail asking for a previous appointment date, once I didn't hear back I assumed the appointment was on, it wasn't until I phoned him (30 minutes passed our appointment time) that he claimed to have left me several voicemails, and texts. Without hearing from me claims he called me several times. But during that time I got calls, voicemails, and texts from anyone else who tried to reach me. He also cancelled my appointment time . He continued to place the blame on me, even though in my own voicemail I specifically said that when the date that was earlier could not be done our initial appointment would be OK. He simply continued to tell me I had been wrong, and talked to me just like I had been an inconvenience, it was just after I asked him"what next" that he provided any resolution.
If it weren't for Shawn, I would have given a inspection that was much worse. 5 stars are deserved by shawn. Even after installation he followed up within an hour, as promised, and came back when the water wasn't hot after a hour (gas judge issue, not his fault). He was professional, and courteous. He had been educated and enlightening. They will be used by me later on if I can operate directly each time .

Shawn chose an effort to save me money which I really valued, although I am relatively new so I can not say their rates are for parts/labor to homeownership. I will certainly use their services based on this first encounter!
Shawn, the plumber, provided customer service and work. He readily shared his view on what could/needed where they were proper, to be done and offered cost. He answered all my questions regarding my pipes system, and given insight into things I would have to keep a watch on as well as maintenance I could think about in the future.
I had care support in the Pipe Doctor. They followed up with phone calls to program a work and were speedy and receptive.

We have had outstanding service with The Pipe Doctor! They arrive on time & are professional and extremely helpful. They have fixed many of our plumbing issues in our house - drains, replaced a bathroom, installed a new faucet, and eliminated repaired a leaky pipe & a laundry room sink. Gary and wayne are all fantastic!

Jimmy and substituted an outside fixture which was rather difficult to reach and Wayne were prompt. They solved a problem which plumbers were unable to tackle. They substituted a lever .

Jenn - Manassas
The Pipe Dr has been responsive. . .on time, entirely knowledgeable, and REASONABLY Priced. They are on my speed dial for any potential problems. Thank you Pipe Doctor for providing exceptional service!

This is the company my home warranty company sent outside. They came out very prompt to find out what the difficulty was. Had the parts ordered by the warranty company and have been back to install it a few days later. Shawn was a real professional experienced and did an excellent job. I'd recommend them any time. I will call them the next time that I want work no matter warrantied or not.

We'd Shawn piping due to an old rusted out section and set up a fresh water bib and come out. Shawn offered a reasonable price and was punctually efficient. Everything was explained and the last work was shown to us before he left. Great service. Will use in the future to get any work that is .

Great service! They came in their time window fixed my faucet quickly and provided friendly and professional service. Highly recommend using The Pipe Doctor!!

I would recommend The Pipe Doctor .
We discovered some water pressure problems, after moving into a brand new house. Gary advised us that the pressure valve was comparatively new and did not need to be replaced; but adjusted. This saved us several hundred dollars of price. He offered to go from faucet to faucet at the house to eliminate or adjust stream regulators necessary. This guaranteed that we had exactly the strain we wanted in each room.
Gary was fantastic! I wish I'd called him first. Instead I tried to get three plumbers to come out and three were directly no displays. Gary, however, was considerate, responsive, and swift.
