OMG. I had my toilet replaced in my home. Ryan & brendan came, assessed the situation, gave me the cost options and did the work. Did the entire job on a FRIDAY day (when most men and women want to beat feet to the wkend) in about an hour. All that and a ten year warranty.
Professionals who inform you if they will arrive, appear early, inform you all of your options, what it'll cost, are knowledgeable friendly, efficient and clean up after themselves.
Five stars is not enough.
I cannot rave about them ! We advised the setup of our gas water heater . The gentleman were really professional and proved here at 12:15. They honored the quote even though it was off and reviewed the cost that we were quoted. They hauled off the one from the new one with the cardboard box and quickly installed the heater. They discussed maintenance information to keep the one in form. Todd and brandon did an awesome job!
Two pipes came to my daughter's home install a water softener with pipes in place, to reseat a bathroom, and install a. My daughter called to go over the estimate with me. I thought that was fair when she told me it would be roughly $700. But then I had been told since they had to return to install the water softener that was only for the charges of this day. The total was over $1800! I requested to talk to one of the plumbers for a breakdown of the estimate. One of the charges was $198 for them! Yes, they needed to charge almost $200 to pick up several parts!! As soon as I told them to forget about it we would find somebody else, the plumber intentionally tried to talk me into using them said he'd take 20% off. When I told him that still would not work, he wanted to know what I would be inclined to pay. I would not have had them perform service for virtually any price with them trying to tear off my young daughter play The Price is Right with me on the phone. I had been told that the service call would be $29 if we didn't get the service. They tried to rip us off by saying it would be $49 for the excursion charge , when I told them we had been falling service. $ 1800 is astronomical, and I was shocked that a firm that is locally owned and operated would be double the price of the next estimate I received, although I really don't understand what's happening. And to be billed $200 to return the road to the hardware shop was completely unbelievable. It is the plumber's job to have the vital parts, and it is their job to go get them order them to repair at a later date, if they don't have the parts. I am attaching an image of the estimate. Maybe someone can explain why the prices are so much greater than the subsequent two quotes my daughter was going to be billed almost $200 to pick up parts and I received. I am rather disappointed in Carter's Plumbing and expected better from a firm that is local.
Whoever drives truck variety 111 Shouldn't drive for your company. He text and drive at precisely the exact same time although not only he's reckless. Saw him cut people off and he then started tailgating people when they honked at him. He'd frequently maintain his phone up like he was videotaping or taking pictures of people who took offense to his milking.
Called Carter's out to get a gas dryer instal and hookup. Friendly customer service from the very first call. The technician called prior to our appointment and was right. Very Happy with Carter's My Plumber.
Called them out to put a drain in for my washer. The guy looks everything over then gives me a cost also goes through the strategy. He also notices altering could be used by my hose spigot, shows me why pointing out issues with it. Gives me a cost of $294 to get only the spigot and can be done later. So I agree to the drain installation cost and he comes back out a couple of days later but tells me he is not sure if it can be done! He calls his manager who comes out and tells him how to perform it, which was the way he explained HE was going to take action. It gets done and works fine. I ask to acquire just how much was that I inquired and the spigot changed now and call them? $294. I said go for this. They send out the exact same guy that showed me that the issue with the older one. He tells me it ought to be 394 because of how difficult it's for to! He was the one that looked at it! Felt like he tried to shake me down for $100 more. Wonderful guy work but not exactly trust worthy. Probably wouldn't use them again.
A bathroom in my home had a small leak in the seal onto the floor. I called Carter's My Plumber to request an estimate. They told me 273.00 on the phone. I made an appointment for the next day, although it looked a little high. The plumber who came was a young guy that is great, we enjoy him. The only extra components were to get a new shutoff valve to the water intake line next to the bathroom (a $5.00 part). My invoice soared to $411.00! For the sum of money, I might have purchased a end bathroom from Home Depot and had them install it. So, I'm very disappointed with everything I got for my money. Before you call the plumber, consider Home Depot or Lowes, receive a price on a new bathroom including installation. I think you'll be a lot happier.
The day paul and the team at Carter's saved. After many awful encounters with firms showing appointments, providing inaccurate troubleshooting, and normally fear mongering regarding our lack of water, we can tell instantly that Paul was the real deal. He did a bit trouble shooting and showed up but after years of experience was able to conclude that the well pump itself was the situation. Not a fix, but we decided to move forward and replace. Because our old pump turned out to become stuck when they hit a wall, Paul worked to prioritize our job, and understood who to phone and what we should do. Although we conducted over into another day, they showed up early the following morning, made to work, and came up when our old pump broke off through pulling. We've got water!!! Thank you Paul and crew to doing the job right and being transparent. We'll be phoning Carter's for any plumbing needs!!
Called Carters earlier in the week for a quotation to shorten a gas line for our barbecue. Todd was courteous and professional and managed to perform the job. He was fast and effective, and the cost was reasonable. Very impressed, can use them again!
Called at 7a look at my leaking water heater. Talked to answering service. Jody called me back and stated someone could be here in 1-2 hrs. 1.5 hrs later I received a text that somebody was en route. He revealed. No introduction, walked inside and only said Hi. I explained what I'd done so far to the water heater and the issue. He turned a few asked a few questions and of knobs. Because there was no method to get inside it and then repair 23, said it had replaced, it could not be repaired. I asked for a quote. While he wrote up it, I called a local company and they quoted $800 cheaper. He contacted his boss to see how low they could go, but nevertheless didn't come near and the guarantee has been dropped way down to even get that low. I just paid the estimate/call out fee and that was it. The thing is that if I'd gone with Carter's, the price included the water heater, install, take a 6 year parts & labour warranty.
Everyone from Joedy (whom I spoke with over the telephone ) to Jason (the man who came out to do the job ) was AWESOME!
Need a reference or Don't hesitate to message me if you have any queries.
The customer support via telephone and in person was amazing. This company was not like the other big name companies. They wished to actually help out instead of with an objective of sucking your pockets dry and were very personable.
I can not think that no one refered to them me because they were a godsend. I will from now on use them with no questions asked as my pipes service.
This pipes support came out to my house. I had a water meter pit that needed upkeep. They handed me far the BEST deal, after getting 4 estimates from pipes solutions! It was so sensible that it was unbelievable.
Great customer service! Josh S. was fantastic! He was on time and very knowledgeable! In addition, he answered of my questions! Would definitely recommend and will use again in the future!
Friendly clean trimming staff.
We had a running issue with all our point that turned out to be a ATT cable through the line. They had us up and took pictures and running. No requirement for us to be present for the job.
They're who I'll call although we never want them.
Called at 3:30 came right away. Quoted on the telephone and didn't attempt and sell us on a program.
I've utilized Carters for about 10 years. Everytime, the work is done. I trust their identification of the issue and they offer two solutions: 1 ). Economical and 2. higher quality. I've chosen both depending on the sort of inconvenience and also the failure the failure presents. They also offer you a qualitative rating of the economic vs. the higher quality solution.
Loved before he arrived, that they sent a bio of this plumber. He was early and dos . I even paid significantly less than he quoted. Will use Carter from today on
While I do feel that Carter's is a bit more costly I have had great experiences with them. They've installed a water heater along with a tub drain and they've done good job. I have never had a problem getting them to come out. Actually they have been available the day and have the supplies they want in stock. They still have that little regional feel to them sending thank you notes and gift cards that are little after works completed and they do not charge to appear and give you an estimate. They've become my call if something goes wrong.
