I had the oil tank removed from my basement now by Santiago and Mario out of Comm Tank. Right on time. Pleasant, courteous, well experienced and professional. They needed to pump about 20 gallons out and also did it. (OK, maybe one tiny drop, but really, just the size of a dime!)
They needed to cut the tank in half to eliminate it. The entire process took about 50 minutes. They requested me to inspect their work before writing up a statement and the location was cleaner than before they arrived. I am about to phone their office to let their employer know these two did outstanding work....which more satisfied clients should do in my opinion.

CommTank replaced our previous tank at the garage with a double-bottom that was fresh one now. The technicians have been on time as promised, finished in 4 hours left the site tidy and clean, and the heat and hot water restored. The office people were also courteous and great to follow along with my questions. Happy with the experience.

I am dismayed that my expertise with Comm Tank is far off from that of other reviewers. I had a site visit on 10/13 to get a quote on removing an outside oil tank and replacing with a Roth Double Wall" Oscar"was an hour and a half and could not have appeared more disinterested in being there. My instincts were correct as now I still havent received a quote. Heres the kicker. We had a tank leak in a house in our community and all of us decided, as a team, to replace our petroleum tanks as they are about the exact same age.There are 11 of us. We each got quotes and guess which company never even made it. Less than one star review for this company.
Punctually, clear communication, quick completion, and a cellar after the work was done. They were awesome.
They drained my tankcut the tank, and set up the new tank.They place the oil back into the new tank and were done in roughly 3 hours.The Installers Adalio and Nelson were very professional and courteous,and they did an exceptional job.

Ok so. . .what would you do when you have 225 gallons of petroleum and you tank rusts out and pops up a leak? PANIC! I called my oilman and advised him I had been filling plastic pans with the leaking oil.He explained he'd send s omebody during the next morning.Never called/showed. I predicted Comm Tank,and within the hour The their sales mgr was my house.He explained in detail each aspect of the job including price. He had a crew of 2
Comm Tank came during their time and in about an hour removed fill pipes and our petroleum tank and patched the holes. There was no wreck and the equally men were professional and considerate. Outstanding firm. I would strongly recommend.
Commonwealth Tank was recommended to me from the builder who installed my heating system. Their client service/scheduling department was very friendly and able to work my own schedule around. One the day of the removal, the group (two men) arrived in time and were both very favorable. My basement was still pretty cluttered (lately moved into the home ) and they were quite careful when moving boxes out of their way. They were very professional and clean, and the job only took about one hour. After they finished, they had the room to make sure I was delighted with the work is looked at by me. The holes at the base from the fill pipe sealed and had been removed neatly together with cement, so no oil was spilled on the floor, and everything was washed thoroughly. . .they used air freshener to take out the fuel oil odor. I recommend Comm Tank because of their thorough work, and customer service that is good.
