Elmer was honest and friendly when attempting to unclog. He explained us each step as he travelled, making sure we knew what was happening and were alright. He found that our problem was greater than a toilet. He seemed fair and at no time didn't feel like he tried to find money by skipping a step or simply by doing something unnecessary. He had photographs are taken by us during the process for proof!
I would recommend this service to anybody who needs a efficient and friendly plumber!

After the plumber stopped by, he gave me a quotation that was double another quote I obtained. He quoted me $1,100 for four shutoff valves. I paid $475 and they did a fantastic job.
I called them twice to get a quotation and both times, I had been told I would get a call back soon. I never got a call, but was eventually told they can't offer me a quote over the phone and they'd have to send somebody over. If they'd told me on day one, I would not have needed to call a number of times.

Connor managed to fix all of our sinks.

German and carlos did a fantastic job replacing the drainage pipe and galvanized steel pipes that are old in back. It was a job and they did it efficiently and quickly.

It cost over what we had been paying, but clog-free drains are guaranteed by them for 90 days, and they discovered that the origin of the problem that we had been treating. Combined with the response and Carlos's outstanding company, I am very happy we called DPR.
Our sewer line chronically backs up and required rooting times per year. We used to rely on a generalist plumber, however I decided to call a specialist to be got by DPR on the job. Carlos came the same day, and instantly found the correct place to route the hydro jet through our drains (preceding plumber had not). The video cable then ran through the pipes and located a fracture. To top it off, he also took the opportunity to wash a shower drain which had a buildup of hair.

While the plumber quoted $ 4,500 with 15, $ 2,500 was quoted by oliver with permits. Plus, you need permits in Bernal Heights as folks are nosy and want to call this stuff in. Believe me, I know.

Oliver came out of me phoning in on a Sunday morning within 20 mins. Sewage issue. He brought a camera out and showed us where the issue cleared up was what he can in the meantime. Very friendly and professional.

Super was able to schedule and responsive. Arrived a bit later than the estimated time window (was in the close of the day on a Sunday, so that they were likely backed up).
Oliver was amazing -- fast, thorough, and showed me the issues. Needed reseal/replace a few piping to your kitchen sink and to replace the garbage disposal. 5 stars for support.
Pretty expensive, though that can be anticipated for support in SF. Perhaps might have purchased the components and completed it myself in a fraction of the price, but would've been a great deal more time/effort.
I'd use them again for major work or stuff that needs to be fixed asap.

I asked a quote on the phone plus I was told by them they needed to send someone to take a look. I purchased a disposal for them to work with to save on costs and went out. The project was quoted by them for 1-2 hours of labour at $595. I believe nearly $300/hr is absurd for the occupation. He did come down to do the task, but it was way too much.
Elmer and Omar arrived at the tail end of the window, so no notice was given before their arrival. I had been told there could be a call 30 minutes before they came.
They were quite nice when I denied the ceremony and it was not awkward.

I agree, you can not access the problem over the telephone but a range should be provided to establish expectations.
The last time we used the company to snake our drain they came out now to let us understand the costs have gone up to $325. This wasn't quoted over the phone and wasted our time and the plumber who came all the way into our house in SF in Daly City.

Robert was able to come back the following day to explore a strange water flow coming up from the ground. After exploring he was able to provide me a explanation of exactly what was happening and made a recommendation that decreased risk of unnecessary work. Throughout his evaluation he communicated his though process and observations, and that communication was essential in getting to the root cause.
Overall I'm impressed with his professionalism and communicating and would recommend Robert.

In a nutshell: we predicted several areas, and DPR was the best option, hands down.
- One big takeaway: we had been lucky to have had our bathroom is diagnosed by our go-to plumber before we got quotes from plumbers. The range of options (and costs!) Was very wide, and a small amount of knowledge and prep went a long way.

He became. We have found out that his father had to be taken to the ER. Our freezing frustration quickly melted into compassion, and we're glad that we did not start sending pushy or mean messages. Speak about how we are all fighting struggles that others might understand nothing about... Anyhow, since we couldn't go back to our go-to plumber, we had to venture into the abyss of finding a new plumber quickly.

We can tell you from our experience that DPR is legit: by the dispatching staff to the on-site plumber, we had a encounter throughout the board.

My sink disposal eventually died along with the dripping was out of my league. I predicted the next morning and Discount they sent out Angelo. Before we made a choice angelo was super solid and explained everything. He was friendly and super professional, showed me the way to keep the unit moving forward and installed everything cleanly. Will definitely recommend to someone!

Discount Plumbing has done multiple jobs at our elderly home over the past 2.5 decades, most recently Connor cleaned out a massive drain which connected into our kitchen sink and then refresh our disposal, etc.. Connor and the other people working there have done a great job, are good if they can't be on time communicating and efficient. I really do recommend them. They do a fee system for their job, so you should ask up front if this is, if you prefer hourly. They're extremely popular in Pacifica, you see their trucks out replacing sewer laterals, etc all the time.
