We got one of these Groupons and also the duct cleaners allow us know our furnace leaked water. We called Atlas for a diagnosis ($169), and they said"this thing will nickel-and-dime ya, and it may or may not be on warranty, so here is how far the new ones cost. (Woah, there goes our toilet update ) I shopped around for heaters that were greener, cleaner, desired to go back, and people looked at me as if I was crazy. I decided to find a bid and known as Ron Pringle.
Without charging me, they even came back to tweak a few gasoline lines that hung at a place. That can be a reasonable family business that provides a special touch and understands their business. Highly recommended... with chicken!
Frank, he and his son, gave me calls for replacement, repair, AND update to hydronic. He made a few phone calls and found the core was on warranty. It wasn't cheap but he saved thousands of dollars, fixed spared a high-efficiency heater AND left us with all the most delicious bottle of barbecue sauce.

I wanted to try a company, I had good communication, and Ron fixed our heater away for a price that was affordable. He clarified how it got broken in the first place so it will not occur again. He's been doing this work for a long time. I would recommend this firm.

Thank You!
Excellent, honest service provided for the forced air heating system at my rental home by Ron and his team. I have discovered that for all types of home repair it requires phoning several technicians in order to get in touch with someone who is accessible... they generally have their hands full and don't always have office employees. These guys know their stuff and I'll work with them again when necessary.

When you call more than three times as you don't have no one calls and heat back - that is the essence of a review. A company that doesn't return calls is completely unreliable although I understand you may be busy.

Ron returned my phone on Thanksgiving and put me up for service.
He showed up with his Mike and solved my issue. Reasonable prices, Good service and no attitude on an system that he didn't install. He has a new customer for life.

We lost our furnace during the coldest days of January. Our furnace was ruined due to flooding in our basement. We had been told we didn't have an option but to place it when it was installed 7 decades back. Ron looked on the furnace, and he rescued us from having our furnace flood by dangling the furnace even though he could not spare it. This reveals a good deal of ethics. He could have placed a new unit. He'd have obtained service calls on an ongoing basis. He chose to be aware of our best interests. Additionally, the work was done quietly, efficiently, and also for a fantastic price. I honestly don't feel that a heating expert, which if you read above you might have gathered more than a few companies have been used by us in the last few decades can be found by you.

He followed up how to get it done myself, and washed my filter. . .as if he thought I'd enjoy climbing under my home! I love him trying to save money - even if he has no clue how much I hate going underneath my house.
When the'wash filter" light went on and my home began feeling colder, Ron came out right away to check it all out while I was at work. This made me it super simple.
I will call him.

He said we ought to have called him he would have come out to fix it but badly? No deal was made on refunding any of their job and I didn't wish any more to do with him. We hired somebody to come finish the project, though the units have never worked well since.
The following morning I had been abandoned at 5am to get a trip. Got up - turned on the heat for my loved ones and left the house. Doors and the doors opened and called PG&E - having dropped my confidence in Ron and his employee. PG&E revealed up - said the gas lines onto the furnace and went under the house hadn't been linked - the connection was so loose he could HEAR the petrol leak before it was seen by him - it was bad!
I've waited a very long time to write this however, the job with Ron place us and I really feel like it's negligent of me not to post it. We've got an older house with old gas flooring components. Really old. They were checked by PG&E and are secure but on our list because they provide to replace.
This story was close to becoming my family's END. Frankly without what I believe Divine intervention - in the kind of a flat tire, my boys and my husband were toast. They'd have died in their sleep or my spouse would have turned on the stove to make coffee that would have been the end, and as he does thing each morning. Not linking petrol lines has got to be furnace fix 101 and his man and BOTH Ron were out here working together. It is a level of negligence that's inexcusable - no matter how grumpy you are that proven to be a hassle. I am going to offer him the benefit of the doubt on taking out the units when they were essentially fine - I think a number of that might have been needed to get the situation to code but if you are working together with GAS, there are errors you cannot create - not once.
He took them to the store, brought them back together with his employee and explained that the employee had broken something on one of those components throughout the fix - again kind of disparaging the ineptness of his employee - kind of embarrassingly since the employee was working only underneath our feet - using only a few floor boards involving us and could surely hear. It felt like being in the middle of somebody elses' marital dispute in the dinner table. In any case, he abandoned the employee to do the job. The employee set up thermostats and the components according to code - for every unit - but when the job was completed, just one of those components worked. The man came back but couldn't get that, so then Ron came backagain. Now Ron was beginning to get a little short. There was a smell of gas at the house and that night once I got home, everything seems to be functioning although I had to leave to get some errands done. I phoned Ron, who told him and was just plain irritated. He said it was to open the doors and remaining because of the work and normal and clear it out and we'd be fine. He made me feel somewhat ashamed about getting called - a sort of"what would you want today" feeling.
I phoned Ron based on testimonials, to come fix one of the components which wasn't staying lit. The pilot light went out. Ron is and came out as others have said - an guy. He had been on time however his employee who'd do the service came very late and after he came, Ron dressed him down a bit and then said something privately to me about, work ethic and if a man wants a project, number one thing is"be on time". Ron reported he was going to have create general upgrades which were needed if we needed to continue to use them, take them and repair them to take out BOTH units entirely. Reminder - just one of them was giving us any trouble - but I had been spent in getting them work to get a couple more years so I thought - a little pain today (500$ per ) than the price of a new system (that I just didn't have) but I won't have to take care of the warmth for a few extra years.

I would employ him .
Being at care I need to have a office. While I waited for my landlord to repair 16, my heater was out for ten days. He left town and didn't. On my job day I predicted several heating repair people and was desperate, Ron got back to me immediately, came over immediately, was friendly and down to earth. He showed me what was the issue and even made a trip to south san francisco on his own dime so he didn't need to wait for each week to have the part. He installed it and it appeared to work good. Then he, and another issue again went to south san francisco on his own dime. It works great, along with my patients and I are comfortable. He is kind and communicative, and understands his or her heaters.

My heater blew cold air and wouldn't turn off in the thermostat. It was a night and I had air blowing the house. I phoned Ron Pringle, Heating Experts, since he had great reviews and was found just blocks from my house. He had been a man with plenty of knowledge. The problem was fixed by him easily, inexpensively, and spent some time answering questions I had about my house and the furnace method. I felt I could trust him and will be calling him for some changes I want to create my system. The trade felt distinct from the company I have used and repeatedly for the past 15 decades.

His team and ron did a great job underfloor heating ducts and replacing our furnace. Reasonable prices too!

Ron is professional, personable, and very helpful. So that I managed to e-mail him pictures and questions he kind of upward with technology.
Ultimately, it was a choice that is good. The ceramic piece was replaced by ron instead of replacing the entire part. This saved quite a bit of money.
Only minor matter was that he showed up a bit later than anticipated. I living on the border of where he normally drives to.
I found Heating Experts and had a great experience.
So I called around to a couple different areas, my furnace was not working. I was somewhat reluctant to go with Heating Experts since this firm had one of the minimal trip fees. On the other hand, the good reviews made me choose Ron at the end.

Ron is quite experienced and able to uncover and fix the issues. If you need it I'd call Ron. I'd call Ron When it's something that nobody else could figure out.
Ron Pringle and Heating Experts came highly recommended to us from friends when we purchased a home. Our home is a duplex and demanded of both plumbing and heating upgrades. Ron did a great job on all aspects of the job which at several times hard due to bad access and distance were because of the age of our home.

Ron came this morning and I hovered around a space heater in a winter jacket and mittens. I was so grateful that he was able to schedule an appointment within 24 hours of my first call. We believed the warmth may be broken, but it turned out to be user error (whoops). Ron was amazingly professional, thorough, friendly, and personable. He pulled out all of the elements of our million year old heating system, explained me everything, cleaned the filters, and set it all back together within the hour I had scheduled to become home from work that I felt at ease knowing he'd looked in it, and approved it's use for now. We are looking forward to calling Ron once the system is replaced by us , especially since he offers a free jar of his home made BBQ sauce once we do. (!!) . And does Hugo, my dog.

Ron got back to me and apologized. He that he was swamped with simply and the weather had not gotten a chance. He explained that since his job has a guarantee, he'd even refund me the price of his original work! For fixing the situation Ron, Thank you!

I hired Heating Experts/Ron Pringle due to the testimonials and was a friendly guy. It was not until the next day if my furnace began singing, or hummingwe thought the system would burst, that I thought maybe something had gone wrong. Ron called back and left a message, I called and left a message and I called again and got through to Ron! Just to be greeted with an irritated reference about the way I had been the"one who'd left six messages" and that I had been"looking to blame someone". He asked if I'd"just let him complete" when I attempted to supply more information. I explained what was happening, and Ron clarified that this often happens and has to do with the filter vibrations. I said he has to be correct, because it appeared to have stopped humming loudly, and turned the system while on the phone with him. Because this guy is an aggressive person, he should let his employees manage all client relations, and for this reason I'd advise that you go somewhere else.

Ron at heating experts is a great man. Very. My furnace was replaced by him, ducts and had people prepared to dispose of the asbestos that covered my previous ductwork too! His costs were put on, we recommended him across the street who was doing a whole house makeover, and that he was delighted with Heating Experts too. Reliable- is there when he states he is going to be, and also will work WITH you, depending upon your needs and wants!

Ron's about win/win solutions!!
Ron at Heating Experts is a great guy. He is serene knowledgable, patient, and connected. I call Ron if I'm stumped - he knows who to call for what. He is experienced and professional. I like working with him, I feel that's really important to me personally and included in the process.

Ron at Heating Experts is professional helpful, and experienced. I recommend them to anybody who is looking for work.

Ron had to replace my whole heating duct, including the cap on all of the ductwork and the roof in the furnace into the roof. This included running it. He was fast, professional and tidy. He was personable and fair. His prices were very reasonable for the quality of work and ideas. He didn't sub the work out he did the work himself and revealed up on-time to both the estimate and the true work.
I called Ron based on Catherine R.'s inspection and I fully agree with what she said. A Yelp lurker, I signed up to yelp just so I encourage people to give him a phone and could place this review.
