Anthony was great! We had a job on our home that needed quick assistance from an HVAC professional and Anthony went out of his way to fit us.

Anthony was absolutely amazing in repairing my AC unit! That he responded quickly and I'd achieved through Yelp and answered my questions with his busy schedule throughout the day. And he was able to accommodate my program and did his very best to work together with me on a good time to come out on top off it. He was in and out within 1.5hrs and that included running out to find the job and sharing his knowledge on how to check certain parts of the AC unit! Pretty sure it'd have taken him half of the time had I never kept asking questions, so I appreciate how professional and patient he was throughout the process. I would certainly book later on again with Anthony!
- Communication - This may use some work as once he was running I was told to expect him at noon but didn't get any communication. Below is what I encountered before he came.
I had some leaks that needed some immediate attention and discovered Higher Standard Service once I hunted in the Quincy area. I have a mixed review for the service as a whole.
*Texted and called him 1:34 that's 20 minutes following the text was 4 minutes off
*Texted again in 12:40 which he subsequently said he needed to go to the supply home needed 30 more minutes which would put that in 1:10
- Price - I have not had much work done previously before but I had Anthony replace a faucet as well as replacing two water supply lines to my dressing table (two individual jobs) which came to around $380.
Together with the water lines guaranteed up to 3 decades, he ensures it for different amounts of time with his work. I am very delighted with that! All in all, I am glad to be able to find someone in rather quickly rather than getting an appointment that went to the week.
*Texted him at noon and he said he came out of Quincy and was going to me I am in Quincy Center
- Immediate. One of the five or four technicians I called, Anthony was the person which was willing and able to fit me to the next moment.
*Got a text saying he got off the Quincy departure
I looked up Anthony and leading plumbers from the Weymouth area. I called him and fit in me and he had a cancellation that afternoon. It was a small repair job that took him half an hour. While he billed me install it and to come back and could have only ordered components, he cleaned it up right there on the spot rather. He charged nothing extra and me the rate. He echoed exactly what the home inspector and everyone said and gave a look - the configuration is all old and out. He's emailing me an estimate of what labor and the replacement bits could be, but that I feel no pressure to take him up on it. I will though - he answered of my queries, responded immediately, fixed the issue, and was honest and upfront about it. I'll be having him come back to update the pipes down . Highly recommend!
Monday morning comes around, I don't hear from him until I check in and ask if he got the components and what time can I fulfill to allow him ... he said,"yea understand, I think this job will take too much work and I am not really sure that I can do it" This is via text.
He came out, looked like a pleasant, sincere child. While there, he was nice enough to clean the filter, and said a couple of things it could be. This was a Friday, he said he needed to order any parts morning, and that he could come back and fix everything on Monday.
He left. I thought that the next I'd hear would be for letting him in Monday morning to do the job. Instead, a matter of hours the renters, the next day called me flooding the space and saying that water is spraying out. I called Anthony, this child, advised him he needs to get out there and fix whatever he did and again ASAP. This is unacceptable. He said he can not, but then he can talk me through it, when I can go. I got out there myself and since it turned out, the filter that he"cleaned" was never screwed back in properly, so once pressure built, it began spewing water. After about 30 minutes and several attempts, I got it in no and straight issues. He said he'd be back in the afternoon to do the complete job and actually repair it. (FYI, when I called him this moment , he picked up the telephone and before he realized I really could hear him said,"it is this F'ing guy again". Very professional... however, I would never have had to call back when he had put back things correctly when done. I also kept it cool, bc in the day's end, I want this thing fixed.
The thing it, Anthony left a decal on both sides of my heating unit from his company's contact information without requesting me as well. As soon as I saw that, I knew I needed to post.
I called Navien who advised me to call Boston Standard Company and stopped texting him. Anthony kept texting me angry texts,"why am I being like this?" ,"why would I expect to get a refund?" .
Although, I was fuming that we wasted this much time hoping to get it fixed, I texted back,"fine, why not refund me my $198, and we both go out different ways?" . He explained no way am I getting a refund since his website (that he initially requested me to write an overview on) says clearly onto it that there are no refunds.
A couple of hours later, Mike from Boston Standard Co. came out sporting a Navien fleece. Said whoever was in here reversed the leads going into the thermostat and shut down the pump (the pump had power to it when Anthony was there, so that he definitely attached that incorrect before leaving also. I even took a picture of it on while he was telling me to install a Taco pump instead). Then Mike, the BOSTON STANDARD Co. technician came back in and found that the actual issue was the dip switches were never set when installed. It took no components or visits and 5 minutes. The renters have been happy with warmth.
My tenant came home and said they have no hot water. This was NEVER an issue. We let the technician know that now there is no hot water. He came straight , spent another two hours checking everything he had done the day before and stated that he believes he's now going to need to perform a complete full maintenance on the entire system, and change the filter, and he should also be able to get those components in by Monday. He also told me that it was not his fault, but that it was something that me or the renters must have completed after he left. (There is no way that either of those things could have occurred. I said, if it has to be done, then let's just do whatever needs to happen to get these girls hot water and warmth.
So, moral of this story, don't use Higher Standard Service generally, but certainly don't use them if you've got a Navien.
I believed, completely reasonable, and he seems thing. He billed me $198 for his time cleaning the filter and assessing the lineup along with its diagnosis. Since most other places are for the diagnosis I was not going to assert the extra $100, then they repair the issue. However, he needed the parts to repair a pump, so I compensated and said fine.
This child was awful. Sadly, this is not a joke, but didn't end up with a happy ending. My renter's unit reported no heat in a unit with a brand-new Navien system. I called and Greater Standard stated they do Naviens, also it would be 99 go from there and diagnose the matter and to come.
Anthony provides first class support and professionalism at a pinch. The heat of my rental property not worked and he was able to come the afternoon of my outreach. Quoted a price and assessment while coming using the final product within a few dollars of it. Quite pleased with everything to date and he followed making sure heat was functioning at 100%. Highly recommend and will keep on going to Higher Standard Service moving.
Extremely professional nice and educated. Went out of the way fixed at a price and quickly. Anthony took the opportunity give advice to explain everything, and keep me he do. As I girl this was really appreciated by me. I would recommend him to anybody without hesitation and plan on using him Lives up to the title Higher Standard A+++
Anthony came, and was fast to react to my crisis petition. He ran late but allow me to know and conveyed well, which I appreciated. Cost is unbeatable, service was fantastic! Will definitely be asking him!
Very mixed experience. Tried to schedule an appointment for a week and agreed on a Saturday ceremony until they canceled on me and gave the consultation. Supposedly I did not reply quickly enough. I really do have a task that is daily and can't answer during the day but always answered to all queries in the evening. I'd confirmed that I wanted agreed and the work completed to supply the material. Improve your customer service and Quit blaming customers, I won't work in the future with you, sorry.

My tenant had an problem with fundamental AC heating. I left a call with Higher Standard Service and told them about the emergency situation. Anthony was able to provide an ETA and verified that he will be at the property after. Communication was fast reaction. We realized it was a false alarm and mistake switched off the furnace button once the diagnosed was done. Anthony called me , explained in detail and didn't charge me anything. I am aware there are service providers that would charge for heading out to the property and perform check on the issues. Incredibly friendly staff and truthful with doing business.
