The cost was extremely fair, and had I not known as it would have ended up having replacing because of the stuff. He saved us a lot of money.
He was awesome. He did not attempt to sell something we did not need to me. That alone is worth five stars. He did not and also he could've taken advantage of this, although I understand nothing about sump pumps.
I would definitely use them again.
Where the pump is located, he pulled on a handful of debris out of the well. A bottle cap, sheets, a Lego man, plastic flossers for teeth. That's what caused the loud noises.
Steven came a little.
Our sump pump was making a noise which sounded like a garbage truck and dump truck put. I had been told a person could be here between 4-5.
Really interesting. To find that another reviewer got a direct callback. I have been attempting to get Howard County Plumbing for weekly. I'm having an issue using a 2nd sump pump that was installed by them. Since they refuse to get me I will try to use this as communication. I had the sump pump diagnosed by another plumber. The expense of repair is 2/3 the price of a new pump and indicate replacing. So I am still within my window of guarantee my pump was installed 6/18. I would like a call.
Thanks beforehand!
I had my husband eliminate his review he is questioning if the running of this sump pump has triggered a spike in his electric bill. I could not answer or deny that one.
Their support guy, Brett called to confirm he would be there at 1:45 arrive when expected the following day. He visually inspected the work area I had ready & fast shut the water off at the outside main line & got to work making the repairs. Brett was professional & worked to complete the fix in an hour. The aluminum & labour elbows he supplied resulted in a $150 billing. Brett was we shared a conversation about our interest in collectable automobiles as he abandoned & very agreeable.
It had been some time until it became apparent Since the pipe was behind the drywall and also closet carpeting & the walls insulation absorbed lots of the water. I ripped out the drywall, insulation & closet carpeting and managed to temporarily stop the leak with a bit of an auto heater hose clamp & rubber. Cleaning the water up & starting to dry things out, including adjoining carpet was my primary concern before contacting a local plumber.
The only thing I missed was a fee reduction email from Howard County Plumbing which was sent out after the appointment was left by me but neglected to watch till that day following Brett left.
I found Howard County Plumbing Service about replacing the valve & pipe, so I phoned them that day, onto a website that had a range of comments about their support. I supplied most of the substance except for a few elbows since I had enough a shutoff valve & heavy walled pipe leftover from a previous pipes job. They stated they could come out the following day between 1 - .
Needed to obtain a shutoff valve & about 4 ft of aluminum piping which had an pinhole leak. Pipe & the valve was found in my reduced level closet & and although the valve was visible, the pipe was unseen behind the drywall.
