Justin was kind enough to do a follow up only to see how things are moving.
Thank you for everything fellas!
Great men! Find and they came out to diagnose the problem a week, when my basement flooded. After a day or so they could pin point one of those issues with my drain tube that goes out into the street was backed up with a few tree roots. They were able to rust out it and that I have not had any problems since.
We're quite satisfied with the company's work. They came out to the house right away had been really kind on the initial phone call, and did a great job at a reasonable cost. We've got a very old house, and it had a number of pipes fixes. This required a number of plumbing and components, three trips, and also a great deal of work, working with the era of the plumbing and the house. They were thorough, efficient and exceptionally respectful. It turned out to be somewhat fair, although I was quite concerned about what the cost is. This is an old fashioned company with thickness of expertise. That's exactly what we had.
Crooks. Charged 1.5 hours - $245 to pole a toilet sink. Could it take an experienced plumber 1.5 hours to stick a sink? Stay away!
TERRIBLE customer support. They are not interested in new customers. Little known fact: We are interior designers and we all understand each other and talk! I will not refer your business and will relay my experience. For weeks I've been attempting to get out Bob to a client's home. He had me call him back 10 TIMES over 1 week. Then never called me . Left emails and messages Scott, for the proprietor, to call me back. Radio silence. If they can not even communicate/call a person back, how could you expect them to complete a job, quote a job, or address any issues?! Inferior company program! Get your stuff together!!!
AMAZING! I've been disappointed with customer support and responsiveness. . .Wilmette Lucke Plumbing changed my mind! Bruce, Scott, along with their office manager Sarah that is competent are completely awesome. I had an outside spigot that wouldn't work. . .Bruce came on so I could call anytime that 22, time gave me his CELL PHONE NUMBER. Whoa! That's what I call SERVICE!
We had a great experience with Lucke. We had a basement along with the plumber came out the morning to resolve a clog from the sewer line. Reasonable prices that appeared to be in accordance with industry norms (according to some Google searching). Very friendly plumber (Bruce) and personnel in the workplace. We would call.
Love these guys. Its you can trust to do the work right. So had limited experience managing plumbing 19, we moved into a home from a condominium in the city. Technicians are worth their weight in gold.
Can't recommend highly! Today was my first time using Lucke Plumbing. Outstanding and very professional support from Bruce, the plumber. I know virtually nothing about plumbing/repairs....and to have somebody so helpful/trustworthy signifies a great deal to me personally. The price was reasonable & everything. Would/will call !!!
The man was not friendly and would not give me a direct answer about what went on. Even though the leak seemed to be fixed after a very short time, they had to come with a different area for the following $125. They didn't ever give estimates or choices basically charged $500 for what should have been a job with a part to us. I wish he had explained what was wrong, provided me choices (fairly sure we could have needed a new toilet installed for that amount of money.) I'll go out of my way.
I feel like I have been ripped off. We had a leak and known as Lucke and the fee was $250 per hour, because they could not get anyone over until after 4:30! It was shortly after 5 pm when he arrived, not 3 am or a while which may merit a exorbitant fee for this.
The two times the guys were very considerate and attentive to put down drop cloths and put the small booties over their shoes.
I have needed to call these guys twice in the past couple of months since we've had house guests that have been flushing things down that are not suppose to go, both times they were finished in under and hour and had the difficulty diagnosed and solved quickly.
I was referred to them by a respectable contractor who uses them for all their plumbing requirements when their performing kitchens and toilets.
We called them to correct 2 faucets in our rental. The device owner had exactly the exact same issue previously with the taps and advised us to have the plumber assess that the"O rings" that I did. The plumber proceeded to try to fix whatever caused the leaks, and said it wasn't the O rings. We are in a condominium construction so that it was a lengthy and time consuming trip into the lift from our unit and down into the plumber's truck parked in the parking lot. I am not exaggerating when I say the plumber left about five of those time consuming around trips back and forth to his truck. Well, in the long run, he didn't correct the leaks, and then we received an almost a $400 bill from them, probably at least half of the time on the invoice was that the plumber's excursions over and over back to his far away truck. It was a entire waste of cash.
I phoned Wilmette-Lucke Plumbing to come unclog. Each time that I used the main floor bathroom, filthy water would back up into my bathroom sink. The 2 plumbers arrived late and tried to snake the downstairs sink (something I had already tried myself). They pole down threw the upstairs bathroom and decided to bring in the machine that was power-rod. I was quite pleased until I watched the ridiculously high bill...$612. That to un-clog a drain!?! much Apparantly the rate is $125 per hour per person. That's means it is $250 an hour to employ these men, not they use! WTF? Attorneys, doctors, and vehicle mechanics do not even make that much money per hour. Do yourself a favor and go with anyone else, your pocketbook will thank you!
It simply amazes me that this way operates. Experience as other posters. The guy made an effort to come out and examine the job but never got back to me after contacting them two. Is the market that good that they don't want people's business. Telephone a company that actually wants your business....not this corporation!
Marc came by to help troubleshoot a problem. Two other plumbers had come and they had neglected to figure it out, and we got water damage as a result. Marc asked questions that were exact, came by, and in 10 minutes figured it out and fixed it. Wow! I am impressed and will call them first next time.
Bruce out of Lucke Plumbing was amazing! I had a shower which wouldn't close off, along with also the replacement cartridge was difficult to install. Bruce wouldn't give up and was able after getting soaked through the procedure to repair everything. They'll be my first call for any trouble later on.
Ever since that time, they have been my"go to" plumbing company. They are educated and dependable. They are not the cheapest, but they're fair. The receptionist is helpful with scheduling, and friendly.
I used Wilmette Lucke pipes when a pipe broke in my home. A neighbor recommended them. They were fabulous! They came out fast, did good quality work and were reasonably priced.
I had the same experience as Glenn M., only worse. They came to my house and never gave a proposition to me. I predicted a few time for two weeks and they would not return my calls. The $ 6,000 project was given by me to Ricks Sewer and Drainage. They were fantastic.
Past bad! These men were unreliable, didn't return telephone calls from our GC, and had to do everything. Whatever they didn't do doesn't work. They left messes they never cleaned up. Rather than moving clothes and also an ironing board nearby where they were functioning, they believed nothing of splattering soder all over them. We added an addition, including a bathroom onto our home and these men were chosen by our GC. They installed radiant heat in our bathroom -- the flooring doesn't even get much less warmth the whole bathroom. The sewer stack in the attic was never fed via the roof, so it is currently releasing toxic-smelling fumes to our attic. The pipes resulting in the radiator heating system in 1 room bang so badly they wake up my kids up in the daytime. Without adjusting anything the radiators bled differently. I'm not sure what happened on the day when water was streaming into the kitchen from over from the bathroom - . Despite repeated calls to have them test the pipes resulting in the new bathroom before the walls were shut up, they never arrived. After the walls were shut up to test the pipes, they arrived they leaked, of course. The walls had to be opened up to be fixed. Use anybody else besides these men!
