I called Matthews to contemplate getting my two 50 gallon gas water heaters. They were instant and sent out among the folks to look and offer a quote. After the quotation I consented and work was started by them within a day or two.
You would be ridiculous to choose any other vendor, his staff and Matt aren't the type of plumber.
The de-install and installation appeared to be without difficulty. We experienced a slew of issues with the unit not and throwing codes working correctly the following day. There were two issues that the town inspector wanted corrected.
Matthew and his staff were receptive to the issues. Exclusion was made by them and came out instantly even after hours in order to fix the issues. It took many trips out but throughout the process Matthew was very communicative. He was confident they'd be able to acquire the unit to work and advised us that no matter what the issues would be solved. The issue has been solved and his staff and Matt have continued to follow up to be certain that there are no issues.

I had a great experience with the team. My renter reached out and contacted me about the kitchen sink. I figured I discovered Matthew and a professional could be a much better bet. I messaged them Yelp, sent over the photos and they sent over a great estimate for the job. One their team called before arriving and provided the exact same suggestion that I had in head and substituted everything that was resealed, with the garbage disposal, discovered a security issue and resolved it and tidied up in 45 minutes!

What type of a scam is that??! See if you can follow this one. I'd bought a dishwasher with installation but the store wouldn't install it because the valve was soldered to the water line. So I was seeking to schedule a plumber to come later in the day since the dishwasher was redelivered. If the dishwasher is functioning fine and have time to tackle repair or return, This way I know. When I delivered an image of this valve that was soldered and called Matthews, I was advised by them there is a dishwasher installment $225, and replacing the valve could only be billed hourly at $150/hour. She reassured me that the pricing foundation is hourly and I could expect to pay for just one additional hour due to this valve needing to be replaced, $225 + $150. This was quite clearly stated and I felt my questions were coated. I coordinated the delivery along with the plumber, also made sure their schedule permitted time; I was advised, the appointment lets two hours and that should be sufficient time. So installation was rescheduled two days after delivery 10-12 then the plumber was sick. So 9-10:30 was moved up there was a cancellation. Then the plumber came at 9:30 and was at a hurry to get to the next appointment when pointing out to me all kinds of problems that will run up costs and time and make him late for his 11:00. "Oh, I didn't know you were on a slab..." Uh, a lot of people are on slabs. Shouldn't someone have requested that on the telephone? He tells me all kinds of motives he might have to charge much more than I was told about the telephone, he will have to cut on the dry wall under the sink because he can not go down to the crawl, and I shall need two valves instead of one, for both warm water and cold water. I don't know why I was not advised that on the telephone. But of course I needed my dishwasher . So I advised him to proceed. After he finished in under two hours, all I could see is that the result that was explained about the telephone to me. He was agressive about amassing and in a major hurry, although I tried to get an explanation of that which was different. And he was not the one I spoke to on the telephone. So I called the office and find this: now they say they charge $225 for"dishwasher installment" and $150/hour labor, for many hours, and $225 does not include any labor, that's the"dishwasher installation." Huh? Now the final price came to over $525 and the dishwasher was there as was the installation kit, so all the materials that were supplied were the two valves. So I was charged for two hours over the"dishwasher installment" price at $150/hour and advised that I had obtained a $100 discount! I also was told of the following discount because the plumber and technician were really there two hours"and change" (a lot of time was moving over gradiose motives for the price shifting, and inquiring if he can play with my grand piano after he has been below the sink cutting gutters.) When he changed the valve, he also told me he would have to charge additional for carrying out my garbage disposal; and I said if I understood he was going to remove and reinstall the disposal I may have picked up a new one because mine is outdated, and to this he says, a new disposal would be $250, I have one on the truck, and that's the cost of installation that does not include the price of the disposal. Allow me to figure out this, to place the exact same one back in there is the hourly labor charge except to put in a new one I'd pay for the disposal plus labor hours plus $250 for"disposal installment?" Huh? Let me comment on the installation . It was rushed. He was not about to perform anything but a rush job Although I was standing there asking for your plumber to perform things and being billed . I asked so I could repair it readily if he would make a nice square cut of the drywall. Is it? No. I asked the technician if I should get my gun when the old one is pulled outside, so I could seal behind the dishwasher. I was told by him, no they have caulk and they'll take care of it. Can they caulk? No. Was a tirade about why I am going to have to call an electrician to get a plug under my sink. The wire was coming out from a tear in sheetrock from up the floor a few inches. I inquired if I could find a cable cover from my drop to feed through the wire. Do you believe that happened? The low point was when the plumber said an electrician should be called by me right away so I could sleep through the night, to redo the wiring of the tech. I saidI hope I can sleep at night? And he whined. The tech also felt free to go without being followed or requesting permission to go upstairs and through my bedroom. I'd bought a pricy floor model that was sent back to Atlanta in which a new control panel was placed on because the floor model had scratches. It is scratched again. Since they're really great, Can I head?

Matthew replaced my water heater only a few hours' notice. He was fair, educated me about what was going on without being amazed at all and improvements we can make. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. His office staff was also very helpful able to provide me a quotation based on. I never write reviews, but felt strongly enough about their service to want to do!

It is going to happen on a Sunday night when your husband is out of town and when you have traffic if your floor water heater will go out. That's what occurred to me! Fortunately it didn't flood. I spoke with Kimber on Monday morning and that they were out and we had a hot water. (They might have come out sooner but we had a battle, so if you want them in a crisis , no worries). They offered us a fair cost, were fast but thorough, explained everything. And generally were a pleasure.

Undeniably the best plumbing experience I have had in my 36 years on this ground. After a different plumber told me my only solution was either an additional water heater or a replacement I called Matthew's. 1 individual came, was well-mannered, thorough, and honest. No solution could be identified because it was an odd issue. The owner spent and then came 90 minutes looking for a solution. Was in the attic, under the house, performing everything. He solved the issue only $241 after and came up to rule out things.
Proceed with these guys. They'll find the work done with your best interests in mind.

Matthew and his crew did an wonderful job on my project. That's, I had a removal of this old and installation of this new. However, these guys went over and beyond doing things which weren't expected. This is how you wow your clients and turn them into raving fans. They were courteous, communicated arrived on time and got the job done same day. Without having to wait as I did with the old tank model I went from a functioning 18 year old tank model to a brand new Navien tankless model; could not be more thrilled.

I had an issue water pressure in my shower, so I set up an appointment and Wayne from the Plumbing of Mathew arrived out to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, problems with my house warranty coverage prevented me from getting this straight away. So since I did not get any job is based on the restricted discussion I did have, that was overall good. Wayne was pleasant and professional, and from what I could tell, wasn't wanting to overstate the job, up-sell, or something like that. The last star was dropped due to the fact that I would of been billed for time it took to go to the home depot since it was to start looking for the part that was necessary. Not certain if this is industry standard, but definitely not something I have personally heard before from a skilled tradesperson (plumber/electrician) performing work.

I am disappointed with their skills. I have needed a water hammer noise for some time and I had been told that pipes need to be bonded. I was not convinced but was still told that it's the pipes. So, I needed to locate another plumber.
Finally, got it solved and it had NOTHING to do with all the pipes rather a bathtub shower cartridge that vanished along with the noise permanently needed to be replaced!
Matthew's pipes is professional and quite polite. They did a good job with installing pipes hardware.

I left a massive puddle and noticed my water heater leaked. I sent out a quote request on here and Matthew was the only one have a thought and to ask anything regarding the water heater. Alas it was irreparable and too old and We must go with a brand new water heater. I was chatting with them at 9 I called approximately 1230 to get an appt and they had a person . He was friendly and courteous, productive and quick. He moved from where some rust had come from draining the water heater, all in one hour the water heater installed the new one and even went as far as to clean the tub. Pricing was unbelievably fair and did not vary from the quote at 9 am. I was incredibly pleased with my experience with them ( especially given a couple weeks ago I used another company and had a dreadful experience.

I agree with previous reviewers-- great service! A neighbor recommended Matthew's. I emailed him and obtained a prompt (and pleasant) response. He said he'd do a quote by email after I sent him a photo of my"old" water heater that we wanted to substitute. His price was in line (much better ) than another estimate we had obtained, but I had already decided to go with him based on reviews, neighbor's reccomendation, and his communication with me. Sam replaced water heater and came --he took time to explain things, efficiently, did excellent clean up, and got the work done promptly. I can not imagine any greater service. When we are in need of plumbing services later on will certainly call them. Highly recommend!

SO and went with Matt from another's recommendation glad we did! He's amazing. Responsive. Patient. Knowledgeable. Helpful. Friendly. Whatever you'd want your plumber is. We had a faulty piece in the faucet that is new and he assisted me predict delta to have it straightened out. Can not say enough great things.
