Tried Mr. Rooter a couple of years back when my water main broke. Dave mended it and came out on a Saturday day. The cost was fair, although I can't state they're cheap. I appreciated the guidance he gave me to keep costs down -"dig yourself"
Our house was built with pipes. We have known as Mr Rooter 3 occasions since our first encounter and have been really pleased. We use him at our construction.

The business sold as well as the new organization isn't as client focused or seasoned. Bummer...

The kitchen sink overflow issue was quickly resolved flush the water waste lineup down, and he asked how long was the wash out of the water waste line. I told him this is actually the first time since we moved into the house 15 decades ago. He explained that the recommended frequency is about once a year. I advocated frequency is anywhere between 18 to 20 months and looked it up on the internet.
He then inquired. He explained that he came from a customer who had their sewer line. I am able to handle kitchen sink clog, but not my sewer line! So since I'd Jason in, I went ahead and licensed the sewer line clean.
Price isn't cheap, but considering I had not kept up all these years, with cleaning, it had been well worth it, in addition to reassurance.
Thank you Mr & Jason Rooter. I will definitely keep you in my head to list when I have plumbing problems.

Owners changed, although it has been awhile since we've used this business. I was near the owner and she was kind and helpful . I can imagine they may have dropped a few clients on account of the ownership change. Anyways, with visit and this owner, they were helpful and in this case on account of the nature of the telephone. This recent visit resulted from one of those toilets making some sounds every few days or months as in sounding just like kind of water after a flush. They stated it may be the seal but noted that if it acted up again, we were to call for another visit and a charge could be applied to another visit and tried to figure the problem out. I discovered this fairly nice and useful.

I found they were quite reliable and used this company before. Other reviews says they are more costly than others. However, I prefer to have a good job done with a bit more money.
Jason came out to repair one of my shower. He quite easy to use and was on program. The issue was diagnosed by him and explained that I had to replace the shower valve. He finished work and returned with a replacement.

They are located at Vacaville not the Tri-Valley. To get components they go to General in WC which takes quite a while. Use these guys for their namesake to take care of clogged drains. Should you require plumbing call a local plumber. They provide complete job estimates that ultimately saved me money on the other guys

He called his manager as my fix wasn't regular (fire sprinklers must be repaired by accredited specialists else that the house owner's insurance may be void if not repaired properly).
Daryl, thanks! You are an all-star!
Daryl was concerned by my plight and told me to shut the water off and instructed my fire sprinkler system to depressurize.
A fire sprinkler specialist was called by me and had the task. I was surprised that he called me in the evening and that I had been out of trouble!
I finally got around to checking on a fire sprinkler repair that had been completed a few years back. The flow was worse.
I called and the tech called me back promptly. He was really active and fit me in in the day.

I have used this company many times over the years and always had a good experience. They were always a bit pricey but I trusted their work. I was saddened to learn that the corporation had been sold by the previous owner Dave when I called to get an appointment. I chose to give them a try anyhow. I was given a 2 hour window to get an appointment for the following day and was told someone would call . I waited and waited. No one and no call shows up. I give another hour call to them. They'd return to me although I was told the plumber was delayed. Not good they never called to inform me. An hour later they show up. They delivered over who did not appear to understand how to take care of a issue that I was considering doing myself a rookie. He guaranteed to return to me and took a few pictures. That was a week ago. The day after they came I had the good sense to call someone who came and fixed the problem.

I phoned this company for a leak in my water main and they dug a little and said it'd cost me$6000.00 for new copper water main. I was shocked . Since they didn't want to dig my entire lawn leak detector was recommended by them. Great thing I did where they were digging, that he discovered the leak right. It was just a busted pvc pipe which I had another pipes fix for$250.00.
What a rip off business don't trust these men. Call someone else!!

I have used Mr. Rooter for 6 years. Excellent service, though and quick. Had a good tech named Jason Whitehorse.

Request Shannon Silva- everything afterwards - 925-825-0100 cleans up. They go any place in the Tri-valley although we live in Alamo.
Had the best service encounter wth Mr rooter- that the water line broke due to tree roots - they came out promptly, wasn't an easy fix and they had the parts and got the job done. Consistently makes us grateful that we have a go to person to phone when these things occur and when the water comes back on. Will make certain to use them .

This is one of the times! 45 minutes to employ the scientific process to figure out where in the pipes was. Found it! Steak or congealed cheese before it left outside, beneath the spur. Fantastic job!!!! Polite, very neat with cleanup that is good and engaging!

Canceled 30 minutes ahead of supposed to appear. Offered no alternative to get a fix now.

Just had the very best customer service experience! Dave came in with a smile, a mat that was private, and shoe covers. I was advised that there would be no charge, when I inquired if credit cards were accepted. Amazing! I anticipated. Will definitely use the services of Dave and Mr. Rooter of the Tri-Valley!

He recognized the issue and scrutinized my water heater. But he said because it would entail more than an hour of work, even though the material cost was $15, he'd charge $300. Because the work was only for 15 minutes this wasn't accurate. I had another plumber come and resolve the same in 15 mins and billed $140.
I would not call him. He charges based on the level of your house and this situation's urgency, and not based on the material and labor required to resolve the issue.

Wow! My shower faucet needed to have it's cartridge replaced. I have done that before without a problem. But this time, everything went wrong.
They can do 24 hour assistance, they are quick, clean and beneficial. If you require plumbing work faucets repaired or any other emergency plumbing work, check these guys out.
These guys are awesome. I am a. I don't like to have someone else do what I could do. But every so often something comes up that I just can't do myself. Today was one of these days.
Thank you Dave! My shower was really saved by you on this one. Great job.
The answering service has been efficient and quick. Once they understood the water was closed off to the home, they made this a priority telephone. Within a couple of minutes, the person who owns the pipes division called me and was in my home in one hour. Following a fast evaluation of this situation, he reassured me he could fix it. And he did! He replaced that Moen cartridge in a couple of minutes. Since he knew that I was a he explained what he did and he showed me the tricks. What a guy. All this was on a Sunday too. I can't get over how this store is. The next time I need a plumber these guys get my vote. The cost was more than honest. I couldn't ask for a much better location.

I use to love Mr. Rooter but the new ownership DOES NOT care about customer satisfaction. I had had a bad experience with a few of the service men but I was idle and called them to fix my kitchen sink. I could pull the faucet out to wash dishes. $700 and a second trip and it's worse than before but in a manner that is brand new. The replacement faucet they put in is not the right size for a kitchen sink. It's more what a puppy washer would use. So that you become drenched as does your backsplash, If you do the dishes, then the water is splattering. The next problem is that the warm water is towards the right instead of the left but ok this is tricky to explain but for to warm water, you get extremely hot or cold. There isn't enough of a distance between warm and cold. There's no warm. The service man arrived. The issue is still there although it isn't that he is is rude or not able and the company just does not care. I'd rather have also my $700 and the difficulty back. Everyone is discouraging from this company and I hope you will heed my warnings. I've been burned workmanship. I miss the older couple that ran the corporation. They cared for their clientele.

Mr. Rooter, you guys need to stop trying to rip off people. You"re making all of the other honest hard working plumbers out there seem bad and since it sets a feeling which all plumbers are dishonest if in fact there are a few decent technicians who charge a fair cost for their service. Do not call or even consider using Mr. Rooter. They will try to rip off you and are quite overpriced. If you do not believe me Simply read the yelp reviews on here.
But after reading a few yelp reviews on, I found how they like to overcharge individuals and that many people complained how expensive they were. So I proposed to my husband we receive some estimates from 5 star reviewer plumbers. We had two firms have a look at the pipe and come out. 1 quote we got was to dig at the hole along with the quote we got was for $260 and $65 to dig. Talk about a difference! So we cancelled the Mr. Rooter repair and went with another business.
If you would like to find a plumber which will try to rip you off, then Mr. Rooter is the company to call. My husband recently called them to repair a broken water line in our property. The crack in the pipe was large and water was gushing out in large quantities. So in fear mode, my husband called the first company online that has been close to our property could be found by him. So he called Mr. Rooter and he advised him that it would cost $540 to fix the broken water pipe and an additional $245 for them to dig a hole for to the broken section of their water line. So to save some cash we decided to dig the hole ourselves and just pay Mr. Rooter to fix the pipe for us since it would take some time to dig the hole, they were planning to return another day to fix the pipe.

My water heater broke down Friday night and started leaking all over the garage. Panic mode kicked in and I logged on yelp and known as Mr.Rooter. Regarded as a great guy and had a great deal of understanding of water heaters and what causes them to go bad. He offered me a price (price + labour ) close to $2000 for replacement. I don't know a lot about water heaters, but it looked way too high. I shopped around and got my water heater substituted for less than half that.
If you don't understand about plumbing/water grills etc.. Please keep around or get prepared to be ripped off. I not only got a great deal elsewhere but employed the understanding that was great to get the exact same new components.
