Plumb Doctor was great! I had a expander on my water heater and they had someone out the following day. (Actually, it was later that day, as I called at 1:20 a.m. hoping to leave a message so that it may be addressed once someone was in the office) Brandon answered the phone and listened as I explained what happened. He recognized it didn't demand en emergency response.
Albert came to assess the matter. He was professional and prompt, and explained everything that he saw and what the repair would be.
He had all of the materials and was in and out in under one hour. Everything works fine now. I would strongly recommend this company.
Fourteen days later, the issue returned once again, so you could definitely see why I would be a bit perturbed to be exposed to cold showers , but this time, it had been more critical because my older parents who had been staying with me because of some hurricane evacuation of the Georgia coast during that time were now forced to brave the cold waters for two days of their visit.
All in all, Plumb Doctor diagnosed the issue and the tank has been healed.
In terms of the choice of carrying either a shower or a shower is now within realm of discretion since the water heater is doing what it is expected to perform.
After my first encounter with Plumb Doctor, before I chose to supply a review I had to wait for a beat. The water heater could not be reset by me after my few YouTube tutorials neglected when I first called. Matt was accessible to come to my home away because after a week of cold showers, I was finished it, that was great. The service fee that is 49 was somewhat hard to swallow since it required all of 8 seconds for him to get stuff up and running , but the policy is the policy and that is that. Well, I just wanted make sure that the problem was assessed and that I would have no additional issues.
Don't believe these reviews But expensive
They came out to snake a drain from clean out
What a rip off
Charged $450
Did unclog drain
I'm extremely thankful now for his team and Brandon taking such excellent care of us.
We had been in a bind as I was stood by another firm up and they got somebody out to get us up and running.
Thank you Brandon and Brian!
Always choose family owned businesses that are neighborhood - they will take care of you.
Unfortunate to require this weekend to services of this firm that is nice but aluminum pipes have their own time table. In the center of 3 kids sporting events the group at Plumb worked us after recovery firm began drying process and got wall open. Pricing was fair and the onsite crew was professional and worked efficiently.
Called and had a man come out for a quote. Not only did he not tackle the issues, he was argumentative over the phone over pricing. He left and really turned off the water source. Told and it did not. Needed to call someone else to correct that issue. Cost me $59 to create problems. Can not recommend.
Support in my plumbing crisis. I had a backup that might have destroyed my home if it weren't for the wisdom and expertise of the crew! They were the plumber we predicted to work out. The two said they didn't know what to do and just stared at it. These guys identified it and worked until 10:30pm without slowing until the repair was complete. Highly recommend!!
I found out about Plumb Doctor based on testimonials on the Yelp Site. I had a terrific experience with Plumb Doctor. When I called to get support, they exceeded my expectations from the very beginning. Brandon and his staff took my advice and set expectations . There was a 1 day turnaround for support. I ended up working with a plumber named Albert who took care of a water heater problem that I had with my home that I was in the process of selling. Albert took out time to explain the issue and was very meticulous with his test. The pricing inspect and fix and to come out the problem was also quite reasonable. Albert even provided some insight and recommendations on things I needed to do to avoid escapes within my own property. I would advise Plumb Doctor to anyone desiring plumbers that are good to resolve their problems.
As someone who worked in the remodeling business, I was very impressed with Plumb Doctor.
Not the business in the world however friendly, and timely plumbers are worthwhile. Quite pleased with their work. They are strongly recommended by me. Request Mike and Casey!
PS $50 bucks wrong. It is sucks and you may attempt to contend with them but at the day's end , they are pros and they ought to get compensated for their time.
Casey and mike showed up on right. The business gave me a 2 hour window, which is evident in this industry, but always a good sign when they show up right away and do not make you sit around. Really friendly guys! Before they arrived at they were polite to my cats who followed them around covered their shoes, and were in and out in under 30mins. It wasn't a plumbing issue.
I used Plumb Doctor to have two toilets consumed and re-seated and also a vanity removed during a flooring job. Matthew and Evan were so great! Called when they were on the road, on time, did a great job and cleaned up after job. I certainly will use Plumb Doctor in the future. Thanks Evan and Matthew!
His team rock and brandon!!! Brandon did all he can to get a water damage company that night when I found a leak out of my water heater on a Friday night. The moment he would, he delivered his incredible team (Matt and another guy I can't remember - so sorry) to my house Tuesday morning to replace my hot water heater (it would have been sooner but needed to get approval from my condominium association to turn off the water). These guys have been thorough, punctual, polite, and professional. In a fashion I understood, they explained everything to me as a head of the home. I suggest Plumb Doctor!
But, do NOT use their preferred water damage, restoration and drying company,"Quality Restoration". Should you would like details see my review of these here on Yelp.
Very professional responsive and proficient. Cody was responsive and quite helpful after he left and was my plumber - really knew what he was doing!
During the two times that Plumb Doctor was in my house, every one the guys were nice, courteous, professional, and working hard. They would be my plumber from here on out if I were not going out of condition. Incredibly happy and impressed.
In the process of selling my property, my purchaser sent their home inspector to do his thing. In doing the inspection, he was able to conduct water, for so long, it began to back up into the basement. I received a panicked phone call from my realtor and had been an hour off, and in my way back into the house, I phoned Plumb Doctor. Not only did Brian conquer ME into the house (arriving within 25 minutes of my call), he began diagnosing the problem until I came.
Saturday morning, bright and early, Brian was back with 4 other guys to complete the job. As soon as the blockage was discovered by them, there was bad news for me : the entire sewer line had replaced into the road.
For me, roots were found by Brian in the sewer line of our 45 year-old house. Not uncommon for clay pipe to be past its serviceable life. He concluded that we had at least a portion of the sewer line replaced after running a camera down the line. He gave me a price that was fair showed me the blockages on the camera. Next morning, team and Brian were here on utilities, waiting with all the necessary gear to come locate. They must do the job, After that fiasco got sorted out. It did not take them very long to hit a yellow coat. After getting stung a few times, and handling that issue, they got back . Because of how our utilities were in the floor, plus fighting the coats, it became clear this was not going to get done on Friday.
After spending 12 hours on a Saturday in the July heat , he required the time to try and compact amount and the dirt down the landscaping out to make that fix task as painless as possible.
A bit of a lengthy review ahead, but the bottom line is that Plumb Doctor was incredible, I'd and if I could give more than 5 stars to Brian and team.
I've had a few well-reviewed plumbers provide an estimate, with no fee and stop by. Definitely look around, you will find good plumbers out there keen to stop and estimate a project without charging you. Then this is an excellent $49 fall-back alternative, if you can't find a different.
I called for a quote, and now have a Kitchen renovation that is larger. They stated that for $49, they could stop by. . .It reminds me of contending to get my cable bill with AT&T annually. That is why I cut the cable. First impressions are important, and to nickel-n-dime your potential customers is a start. They lost me as a repeat customer.
I've utilized Plumb Doctor once before. When I called, they wanted $49 to stop and have a peek at the project I was considering to use them (a little bathroom renovate)...I needed to argue that out. They stopped by with no and that I hired them.
They did a fantastic job, no complaints, therefore +2 celebrities for that.
Their customer services can't be beaten by you. They go above and beyond, are extremely knowledgable and quite professional.
We had a plumbing emergency (flooded cellar ), and they reacted immediately to help us. I'm sure their schedule was booked, but the entire team jumped into support us. Some of his other guys and brian even worked throughout the weekend and late to help us fix the problem.
We are grateful for them, and recommend them highly!
Fantastic company great pricing customer service knowledgeable technicians on time Highly recommend it
These guys are great. I'd Evan and Matthew. As it turned out my problem wasn't plumbing, but they checked everything and identified that the problem accurately, allowing me to tell. Use these people. Thorough, well-priced, and professional.
Brandon was able to help me repair my trouble toilet OVER THE PHONE. He had been responsive, comprehensive and knowledgeable and has been able to help me fix my flushing toilet by providing instructions and taking a look at images. He followed up to be sure the problem has been resolved. As a millennial, new homeowner that was the best plumbing encounter I could ask for. Thanks again Brandon and Plumb Doctor for being such a fantastic help this morning!
Following a load of laundry, I discovered black sludge coming up out of my cellar drain. Ruh-roh. I have a home warranty (pretty useless if you ask me) and following my 75 charge, they delivered a plumber over (from a business I could find NO info on) who spent a couple of minutes rooting around. He could say that because the warranty didn't cover it, my part'could' be around 900 or 580 or several thousand! I didn't even understand what I'd be getting for that!!! I looked up Plumb Doctor in my Yelp app. From my conversation into the work completed by Cody and Brian, this is a great experience! Calm courteous, friendly, and professional, Cody welcomed my questions, in addition to soothing frazzled nerves and talked me. Their strategy was comprehensive (Cody removed my toilet and put in a camera which completely pinpointed the issue - even encouraged me to take a look), meticulous, and quick. We suspected that a sewer access line - since I had heard these can be thousands of dollars, I was quite worried! But Cody kept his composure (and mineif we are honest) and explained that a sensible plan of action. It was going to be fine. My home has the one toilet, so this was vital to fix. Out arrived Brian (equally fine ) together with the digger and the two of these professionals must work. We discovered that I had Orangeburg pipe (that is similar to a compressed tarpaper which was utilized between 1950-1970, a wonder it lasted so long as it did because my home was constructed in 1959). Well within one day of my first call, my home has a brand-new PVC sewer access lineup and up-to-code new exterior accessibility (which it hadn't before). I have peace of mind knowing I will not have sewage coughing up into my home. Can I have maybe found someone cheaper? I don't understand. It may be possible to find some random guy to do this work for less, but what IS unlikely is that I'd have found someone as knowledgeable and professional and comprehensive.
Cody was patient and very courteous. He answered all our questions and gave.
It had been pleasant to have somebody you can trust during a stressful situation.
Our water heater leaked and flooded our basement, on a Sunday morning. Frantic and not knowing what to do, I googled plumbing solutions and Plumb Doctor appeared out. By luck, I got to speak to Brandon, not expecting much because it had been a Sunday. However he got us and a recovery solutions connected to drain the water. (Which we decide to not hire coz of our budget). And he delivered one of his crew" Cody" the very next morning.
We are so thankful we found a fantastic plumbing firm. Thank you!
I would recommend Plumb Doctor to anyone that needs their services.
