We reside on the first floor of a three story condominium construction, and we came home to notice there was filthy water. We understood that it was probably a clog in the drain tube that was frequent. We were able to obtain an appointment for the morning after, which was great because some businesses were booked up for the next 4-5 days and predicted Right Away. Jorge came on time, and managed to fix the problem quickly. He also gave advice on the best way best to avoid the same problem later on, and was very professional during. Was not the alternative but got the job done right.

Called to ask quote. Called another day to confirm quote after tech gave quote that was outrageous to me below. Both instances affirmed that it should've been half of what was advised on site.
These guys must be rich unclogging sinks and rebalancing the valve handle for this considerably. Taking less than one hour. I wanted to get it over with and am remote from my house.
Guy fees $400, and goes to skillet onsite. And although toilet valve rebalance for $340 but discounted at $197. Total costs over $600 because of credit card fees.

It saddens me to View Right Away Plumbing advertises their Speech in 858 W. Armitage Ave. at Lincoln Park when in reality, It's coffeehouse called La Colombe

I own a spa that's located about 4 blocks from Right Away Plumbing. One of our showers drained very slowly so we telephoned them to rod the drain. The great news is that Jorge came within 3 hours of their calling and the occupation lasted only around 20 minutes. The bad news was that he charged us $329! To be honest, Jorge did inform the manager that it'd cost that much but she had absolutely no idea exactly what it should cost so she OK'd it paid for it. I've not ever written a Yelp review before but I felt I needed to warn others exactly what their practices are.

I can't depend on this company. Very unreliable and possibly price estimating.
The business has control of the technicians the firm sent. The plumber left and just refused to work. Very upsetting.
They gave me a quote, which is on the other side. But, I have a deadline to meet, so I agreed. The quote is based on four communications, including photographs. However, the moment the plumber arrived, he requested to double the price. Wow! He refused to perform the job and left.

Thanks Right Away Plumbing
He's been reliable and punctually with skills and knowledge.
I am in need of reliable, professionals that are qualified to support my clients and also to bring my layouts.
Their pricing is fair and they've always been available to help us solve any plumbing problems.
Right Away has added excellence to our endeavors and brought innovation to our pipes needs.
Tony in Right Away Plumbing hasn't let me down. He's helped me to make my clients happy by solving problems using building problems that were complex and technology in plumbing solutions.

Jorge did a fantastic job and was pleasant during his trip. Offered advice to maintain the kitchen command line clear in the future. I suggest Jorge to your plumbing requirements.

George and his manager came four days afterwards (yes, they are surprisingly busy). They ran the camera ($355 without videos listed ) throughout the drainpipe and found the huge congestion is now gone. They said it could be attributed to the flushing from downstairs. However, they discovered a second clog which could cause trouble later on. I requested them to conduct another round of snake drill to wash the clog area. They said that would not work. They ended up cut open two drywalls ($150). One is in the rear of the bathroom (totally unnecessary), and one is your ceiling downstairs. After that, they said they need to charge another $2700 to open the pipe and remove the clog (the cost does not include fixing the drywall). I stopped their support at that point.
I wish I can offer an O star to them.
I had another plumber business to check the issue. All of the movies were recorded by them and gave me a copy of those. The whole thing was completed within 60 minutes. Clean and clean.
I had them come to do the work and discovered this business from yelp.
If I had the business do the work in the first place, get everything done and I should need to spend $630. Now, I had paid $875 to Off and another $600 to repair the drywall. I could spend another 2700 to have the pipe opens and remove the clog when I listened to them. A company should discover the solution for the client, but not the unnecessary and very expensive solution.
The plumber George showed up in 60 minutes (at approximately 5 pm CST) and charged us $170 emergency charge immediately (Yes, perfectly match the organization's title ). He ran a sewer snake drill to attempt and clear the clog but neglected. The drill bit broke inside the drainpipe. Even the work wasn't completed, he charged us another $200 for his effort. He said he has to bring a camera the day, to confirm the drainpipe. We pay $369 for nothing on the day.

Businesses do not go out of the way try to locate a creative solution, or to keep to their programs or for their term. For instance, while I can understand that a plumber is postponed at a previous job - if it was my company, I'd ask that plumber to perform a later day that day and perform another job yet to try and take care of all of the customers on this date which were assured time. I don't love Right Away Plumbing, that I chose partially due to their namesake, because they lack consciousness of the needs of a customer delaying my services.
A girl asking me if I wouldn't mind rescheduling, although this day, less than two hours prior to my time, I received a call from the scheduling supervisor or maybe not the plumber. As I'd waited for this appointment, I said no, and she said she'd call back attempting to create my appointment happen. She subsequently called back to let me know they couldn't, and when I uttered my angry at their lack of scheduling priorities or consciousness, she said there was an emergency which took precedence (but maybe not in those words, Celene was in my opinion very curt and rude and lacking esteem for the spouses ).
Unless I'm happy with them, I do not write reviews. I did, however, feel slighted by this company now and opted to write this review to provide feedback about them and for anybody potentially seeking them.
While I do realize occasionally"emergencies" happen on a businesses end too, I don't appreciate when I'm made to feel like other people's plumbing problems are more important than mine, especially when I did my due diligence to program in a timely way. Not only that, but to get it done so last minute to acquire the notice did not allow me the day to search for options.
I'm waiting the supervisor to call me back - if I hear anything positive from this company I will update my review. For now, I don't advise this plumbing company.
Our first call with Right Away was ad prompt. I scheduled.

Beware. The repair was close to $1200. I've talked to many neighbors that had similar issues and the amounts they paid were just slightly more , or in some cases for a plumbing dilemma that was a lot more significant. This provider inflates everything when demand is high as a result of hazardous weather.
The leaky pipe, such as residential pipes, was behind a wall. Tim advised I would need to pay a fee ($297) to get him open the wall. How can you fix a plumbing issue if you don't get the pipes? Because I really did not have a number of options except to shop around which wasn't an option taking into consideration the 27, I agreed to the fee. Really? There aren't better instruments for this?
I chose your company based on a recommendation. You had reviews. You looked fair. But I feel like we were taken advantage of because of this weather situation.
I phoned on Friday and has been advised a plumber wouldn't be available until Saturday. I had been told the plumber could arrive at 12 noon. As this was I made an appointment.
He advised that it could be another $600 to repair it just where I told him I thought it had been once the leak was located. The problem proved to be a little"cut" in the pipe because of the freeze. What can I do but agree to this at this stage? This repair, cutting a tiny part of leaky pipe out and placing on a valve took 10 minutes.
I had been in need of a plumber to help fix a busted pipe in our house; the consequence of the polar vortex that is recent.
Additionally, a ladder was not brought by Tim.
On Saturday I got a telephone from the workplace telling the plumber would be there in half an hour or less at about 930. I could accommodate and had been in the region. I give this company the benefit of the doubt here - they were busy with all the inclement weather. I had been advised of this $297"emergency" fee which I agreed to.
Tim our plumber has been nice but he looks a little lost occasionally. I am not a plumber but I really do have some construction comprehension that is limited and I was surprised by some of Tim's comments. Had I not been there and had I not had a good idea I think we would have experienced multiple holes in the wall where the busted pipe was located.

I emailed the company to discuss the problem but to date, haven't got a response.
Future customers beware. Be sure to shop around or at least receive a quote on your phone if possible before wasting your time. It is companies such as this benefit from clients and weather scenarios that are desperate for a solution.

Totally unprofessional. Then told us and charged my spouse 1000 bucks to get a toilet repair we had a toilet. George preyed on renter and my spouse who had been fearful and didn't know what to do. Dishonest and combative when I questioned him. Unwilling to honor the warranty. Call someone and avoid else

I think burning your house down & starting from scratch would be less painful than hiring this company. Ugh.
Payment time, alright. Sitting down? Good. I told him I am paying using a credit card & I'm told'So that you don't have a check?' . Nope, I really don't , & even when I did, there's no recourse on a check. So then I am told there's a freaking 3.75% fee for using credit card. What?!? Visa & Mastercard charge 1.5%. So there's an additional $40 in pocket. Over $1,100 to fix one pipe, semi-installed dishwasher & a twisted, and I needed to clean the mess up floor, under the sink, & toss away the debris.
Well, it was not supporting the sink, it had been supporting the dishwasher. Hence the dishwasher has been taken out & the repair. I guess it's a whole lot simpler to take out a dishwasher once he left, than to place it back in, because it's crooked & the screws fell out. I want to get out Abt to reinstall it.
Consequently, they arrive at about 4:30 & were clearly not happy (Can't really blame them, for I had been told that they functioned 72 hours in the last 6 days. Ouch.) . So I am asked concerning payment & informed them. Nope. They receive the owner on the phone & he tells me the exact same thing, the woman said it was nice me inquiring. Nope. Fine! It, I want it done. The boss calls due, & back to his voice that is loud, he tells George which he is skeptical I'm likely to pay. Nice. Oh, from moving through the rear of the cupboard and he had been forbid. Um, how in the holy hell are you to get to the pluming that is in the wall behind the cupboard if you don't undergo the cupboard? Sorcery? Anyway we begin. I guess so a hammer has been used to rip out the back, their budget is not large enough for a sawzall. No biggie, but it might have been cleaner. And by doing that, the change for my dishwasher is sitting on the ground of the cupboard. Great.
You'll thank me.
AND READ THE WHOLE THING BEFORE CALLING THEM! My hot water went out & I wanted a company to stop out. So until I found somebody that I needed to make a few calls, of course all companies were deep in repairs. Well, got an answer at Right Away Plumbing. Downhill from there folks. I explained that we were planning to undergo our building insurance, for it's at the wall when I talked to the woman on the phone. No problem I had been assured. So far, so good, right? I had been told the techs are there Sunday between 2 and 3 & that there was an agency charge for a Sunday trip. No problem I assured her.

You might end up feeling ripped off although They're responsive.
We feel given credit for being return customers to zero and were benefit from.
Good news: Selena since we had a frozen pipe, the receptionist is responsive and discovered exactly the same-day appointment for us.
Bad news: George showed up early and we missed his telephone. We offered to pay to get him back although we didn't get a heads up telephone and he charged us $930 for 15 mins of effort to defrost a kitchen pipe. Last year we needed the work from precisely the exact same company around precisely the exact same time and it was $350.

After enduring a vacation emergency!
Not only was that the company professional and quick, Jorge was personable and an all around nice guy. I have NEVER had an incredible encounter when dealing with a plumber.

I found leaks from the toilets in my condominium on Sunday. Their phone was not answered by the plumbing service nor have voicemail. My condominium management office has been closed for the weekend so I called Right Away Plumbing later hunting Yelp. They answered their phone Sunday morning (wow) and scheduled me for the next day since I didn't feel it was an emergency. Jorge arrived immediately to diagnose that replacement was needed by both O-rings on tank bottoms. He didn't have components that are O-ring, but rescheduled fixes to the following day. Work has been finished and I am highly pleased with their service. Jorge was very nice and asked me to call so they could return at no additional price, if there's leakage. Their repair price was fair to me.

Jorge was great! Came sooo nice, and even showed us how to use the disposal so this clog doesn't happen. Not a lot of companies would show you the way you can keep it. Right away plumbing will be our move to from now on! Happy to locate a local plumber.

Pipes firm. They have been used by me . They are considerate honest and do quality work that is rapid. Save them into your phone - you won't need to employ a different plumber again.

Customer support over the telephone was much more helpful in figuring out an external issue I tried to have solved.
The guy they sent out was out of it... beyond anxious and on edge. It was a little concerning. He was not sure what the issue was or how it began to begin. He came out on a rainy day, so it was the perfect time to confirm the roof whether the issue stemmed from there, to confirm. He made a decision to jolt off, and declined. He up and left!
He had been incapable of writing it had been the condominium assoc. fault as the congestion came through the roof, since he was not sure where it came from. Which will be on the condominium association, as any professional would tell you, if it were from the roof before it got repaired in 2014. Right Away Plumbing fled and couldn't figure out where it backed off suddenly, and came from. Girl in condo #3 is mind of condominium association, whom requested him to specify where the leak came from (roof or wherever), for paperwork. Whether he confirmed or not, condominium assoc outcome are the same... it is the duty of our institution. He was uncomfortable because he was not sure. I had been told there would be a charge for his inspection. I wanted to provide him the cash, but he ran out.
I took the plumber into the upstairs unit, where he couldn't figure out in which the pipes issue came from. After I explained two possible options (rooftop or toilet unit from condominium above), he remained mute and allow me and the friend in condo #3 figure out the possibility. He remained perplexed and nodded his head in agreement to comment of it coming from condo #3 pipes (behind partitions, which he would need to open to view ), or roof. Nothing helpful, as two non-plumbers (condominium #2 and condominium #3 girls) guessed its one or the either. Afterward, I walk out him, and then he complains that he didn't agree with condominium #3, which"she had been talking too fast and I couldn't understand."
Something with your team was way off, and as I guess, might be why he had been on edge the entire time (25min). No, the review won't be removed. This was my experience with your company. I had a professional come out , the next day, and the work is taking place as I respond to you. To explain, the problem was not in the roof.
If you have to open a wall up and look internally at the pipes they do not do painting. Not a big deal (since they can offer a referral), however, the guy that was sent out to us won't be working on my property.

These people are liars and thieves. I phoned them a month ago for a leaking sink pipe, they came out and they supposedly"fixed it" but maybe not the right way. A few weeks later today, it is leaking severely again, he did a quick fix which should have been achieved from the first day, but did not and charged me a different service fee and said I want to cover over $1000 more to have it repiped where they charged me nearly $400 initially for the"fix" they did. None of that makes any sense. Their yelp reviews are deceiving and I urge anyone.
