Nate worked to dig up the pipe, identify their mother root's entry point, removed cut and replaced the pipe and was done in a couple of hours. They quoted the flat rate cost of a roughly $345 which sounded like a cost that was reasonable to do the job of cleaning the plumbing. Once they found the problem was our drainage pipes were clogged up with roots causing a rest in the pipe which could require replacement of pipe, excavation, and covering back up, the cost jumped to $1650. Expensive, but after the technician showed me the very clear video evidence of the camera (sort of like a colonoscopy of your pipes ) trying to go through my plumbing and the root obstruction, I had no doubt that it had to be done. This cost was at the top of it not rather of the 345. I wish though, at least I could have saved a couple of bucks, I had noticed the $40 off coupon on the site.
I'd a hot water heater is installed by Roto Rooter for me. Service Tech Nigel Rattray did an install for me personally and came on time. He went above and outside with me. I've used this company several times, and they have always done great work.

Your company did a out of my house so hence the furniture in the master bedroom had to be transferred, the floor had to be ripped up. The dresser in the master bedroom had to be transferred in order for this to be done. A photo of my son was sitting back of the dresser it was an 18X24 on canvas They had to have thrown it away

Again it was coming to the end of my window and I heard nothing. I called and the plumber showed-up to tell me that the price for the toilets was likely to be 600!! I said, absolutely not and I told him that the price for Home Depot. Again, he tried to negotiate he said, $525, I told him and he comes back and states, $350. I again remind him that not- . He states,"oh well- I tried!" ....what? ...I really don't think they should waste anybody's time with this particular ordeal if the plumber is merely likely to NEGOTIATE when they get there. The celebrities are strictly since the customer support representatives were so type but the plumber's behaviour was bizarre...
Not saying RotoRooter doesn't do a great job saying they don't do the job twice like other plumbers.
As far as the evaluations that are higher, it might be a bit skewed by by the fact that R/R has a weekly raffle for a refund when you compose an internet review.

Wow. I should have checked online because of their pricing! Twice that of those opponents. $338 will almost purchase men, a power snake.
It is after 2 am and I am currently with no water on day 2. The repipe started,,,, yesterday! I'm so tired and I am still waiting for them to get done. The technicians are very pleasant and they are currently trying. But they were not staffed for this particular job. 2 days with no water! If it were not for the nice plumber I would have rated my experience a 2. I really don't know if I should be mad or just cry.
I have never had to call a plumber earlier so I decided to give them a call, because I have seen their vehicles 20, and I picked Roto-Rooter. I called at also the representative who took my call told me they'd be to me and also 3:00 pm and they'd call me if they were 30 minute away. I called back 6 pm came so I might get an ETA, and they put me through to a dispatcher. She was much less favorable & she said"You are next on the list so when he concludes he will be on his way for you" I asked her if she knew how long and she said over the hour. He was professional and quite nice. I don't have any complaints about him. My kitchen sink was draining . He came in and seemed. . .well glanced under the sink and said"it is gonna price you $338 to snake the drain" I WAS SHOCKED! If I'd have known it was going to be this pricey for literally 15 minutes of work I'd have called around and went through somebody else! But I had waited hours for them to arrive and I needed a kitchen sink so I sucked it up and needed to pay it. My husband was quite curious and called a friend of his and they had theirs done by another company for $148! The technician by Roto-Rooter advised so I am convinced he charged us too much but permits this, they get commission! The more you understand I guess. I gave this two stars because the technician was so considerate and professional. However, if I have another dilemma I won't use Roto-Rooter! To pricey!!! A business which charges hourly is cheaper than them!
UPDATE:
I called another company: American Leak Detection, Now. The technician was very educated and had one of his tools that a tank of petrol that was plugged in a water faucet. Took him 10 minutes to discover the leak, which I could hear the bubble sounds under the slab. Roto-Rooter guy want to send another technician to confirm the pool because he was 100% sure there was no leak within the home perimeter so"it has to be from the yard. Incompetents.
I've an undetected leak from the home, that each city meter it is about 100GL/hour. I requested a professional technical on water flow detection and called Roto-Rooter. I had been told the price was $199.00 an hour. I had been told that since there is a listening device needed, I needed to wait two days for the technician to come to my house. After the technician came he said he couldn't use the flow detector apparatus because the home did not have a water shutoff valve. I was so surprised, as even though I'm not knowledgeable sense says that the water valve needed to be open to the flow. I found out he did not have the a water flow detector on him. He kept walking and from a room. He lied to me he came to the time he left my house. I called Roto-Rooter to whine about Mr. Alexander's behaviour and they sent a different technician, now with the flow detector device who stated that make nonsense to shutoff the water to detect a flow (Like I believed ). Roto-Rooter will never be in almost any property I have. Unfortunately 1 star is lowest score I will give, because 1 start is too significant.
Jerry (regional manager) was fantastic. He refused to give up on a clog up and after four hours. He functioned as quickly as one could be, was very professional and was friendly and persistent.
Horrible experience. Thursday scheduled for repairs. No show. No show. Very bad customer services. Will never seek services from them. No way!

WoW dont know what happened on Jax Northside to Roto-Rooter but after using them to the 13 years I only quite them. Price went from $628.00 for new sump pump and labour to some projected qoute of $1200.00 to the identical issue in only 16 months! Im done.
VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE!!! They won't quote you hourly rates over the phone. They wait until they are on site to give a quotation to you. $338 to snake a drain! They had been listen for half an hour. Locate another plumber that will give you hourly charges over the phone.
Nate is very conscience about what he's doing, and explains the circumstance. I would definitely want Nate to perform any job that is upcoming if possible.
Called Roto Rooter but I wasn't certain whether it was a plumbing problem or Septic system. Answered a series of queries and determined it was a line issue. They told me service by 5:00 as Nate turns out and sent over within the hour. Nate was of he remembered our past circumstance before at our home. Went obtained the line flowing and directly to work.
They were late. I called to cancel but they showed. Secondly... Over $300 just to unclog a kitchen sink? I figured why not, since this was the best name in Google search although We've never paid $120 for competitors.
Thank good I asked to get an estimate cuz they would not give me a quote over the telephone. I told the guy we never pay over $120 and he said"welly'all don't have a background together with us" and I asked"what does history have to do with all the price?" And he responded"It doesn't, I was just letting you know". ....Okay. I read they were more slightly expensive compared to others but not three times the fee, my goodness.
Called and made an appointment for Monday to Get a 6-10 PM window. No issue, so it had been set for the following day at precisely the same timeframe. Called at 8 PM that next day just to ask when I could anticipate someone, as I never heard from anybody and just wanted an concept of a time and had been told, once more, a tech wouldn't have the ability to come out and would I reschedule. I advised this had been rescheduled. They asked when they could program it for another day at another time and apologized.
