We had a plumbing problem on Wednesday and known as Roto-Rooter. They advised that somebody would be there involving 6pm-10pm. They kept us informed on the plumber's progress the whole time and soon we realised that it was getting quite late and if the plumber did come after 10pm, it would be be quite late to do anything. So we re-scheduled for the morning. They counseled the plumber are there involving 8am-10am. The plumber arrived after 8. What a guy that is nice! I found it all quite useful as I don't have any clue when it comes to plumbing. He was meticulous about not leaving any wreck considering it was a plumbing problem and fixed the problem in no time without any issues. He attempted fixing the issue with a drain stick ("snake") but realised that the difficulty was running through to the primary line. He then had to use a massive machine (larger snake) to get the water to flow through. He had to remove the toilet so as to succeed with the occupation. He was able to push through and repair it. He then put the toilet back and cleaned the bathroom with very very powerful chemicals ( germs be gone!) .
Terrible Service. I had an appointment. I had been informed at 430 pm that afternoon they could not send out somebody. I had been reschedule again, and they cancelled the appointment.
The technician went out to my property. He didn't call with the service and price like I requested, before completing the job needed. Since I had been with a client he stated no I want a cc on the 23, I asked to be charged. Fine. I said give me 10 minutes let me go inside and get my credit card. He rudely stated to me"10 minutes! I am on the clock" Yea so am I and you did not even call to get approval to do the repair that would have given me a heads up to anticipate a payment telephone!!! Completely finished after that tech with roto rooter. Too bad since I manage 10 units and they've been our go. Adequate timing for them though, my great regional AC guy I have been with for 15 years, to become an ass to me recommended a plumber for me.
Outstanding service !!!!!! I called on a Saturday at 3am and I managed to find a tech out the next day! That he went over the possible repairs and gave a free identification, once here Roberto was fantastic. He then attempted the repair but found that the problem was worst than believed. He then replaced the toilet and gave us a 1 year guarantee on labor. He even attempted to buy. He did all this in under 3 hours on a Sunday which was really wonderful. Would recommend to anybody who wants plumbing repairs
Everybody knows that if you've got a leak or pipes issue, it is a really stressful ordeal. Particularly, once the issue has been experienced by somebody other than yourself and you are responsible for fixing it.
I phoned RR to resolve a water pressure issue and a leak . I seriously wish that he had not, although A repairer came out the day. He had been socially challenged and it generated a bit of a rub. He understood it was a rental house and for some reason that he decided to treat the renters as second class citizens. He informed them of anything never spoke to them and left without saying anything. I had to pry info and found his pricing defendant given my experience with this company. They learned there were just two leaks when there was just one earlier and nothing was fixed, once the tenants discovered he was gone. Never mind I was charged for work which has been badly performed or hadn't been performed.
Because despite this piss experience Mike McCloskey sent out a person, the inspection is 3 stars. He advised me that Greg was off but I know that he was actually working. Guess that's a wonderful way of saying I'm going to improve your experience. The new tech (Devin) was a godsend. He fixed it all and communicated with the renters. And for that I'm grateful.
Additionally, Mr. McCloskey took an extra $50 off the entire bill. I would say once the service is done, it was good except it is precisely the same discount given if you check in on Yelp. Though it was appropriate under the circumstances but it was a wonderful gesture on his part. Despite my scar tissue, I'm happy with the final result. And the renters are.
"Roto Rooter was the third company to emerge and attempt to locate and repair a leak between my upstairs kitchen and bathroom. Billy cut a hole in the ceiling to locate the origin of the leak and fix it. He was was very professional and thorough. Cleaning up the clutter and covered the holes in the ceiling with plastic before leaving. The price was competitive and reasonable. I'll certainly use Roto Rooter for the restoration work and would utilize their plumbing solutions again. I highly urge Roto Rooter."
They set an appointment for later that day to get a felony demolition man to come in and he too was courteous on-time and efficient. Everything was cut and the drying and de-humidifiers equipment which had to stay for 3 days was set up by him. I knew he would have to come back daily to have a reading and understood my schedule was going to be tough to pull off this week, however he arrived at MY advantage even as late as 6pm to perform what he needed to perform and was quick about it too. Now if I could only get my builder to perform the rebuild so easily. . .lol.
I called late evening expecting to leave a message and was surprised to locate the phone was answered and I was given an appointment for the next morning which was some businesses and Columbus Day - . The tech actually arrived a little bit early and was very courteous. He had his supervisor (actually I think he was the proprietor ) come out while he was there and have a moisture reading of the wall while he went to work on the leak. It was ascertained that some drywall needed to emerge.
5 stars for super technicians that are fine and immediate actions!! Although my problem wasn't pressing to the point I had water spraying down the house or anything that drastic, I did have a fairly major problem with a flow that I could view had caused water to become trapped inside the drywall of my half tub.
It is always stressful dealing with plumbing fixes, but Roto-Rooter made it fairly painless for me. If needed I wouldn't be afraid to call them.
What a joke! Can be a plumber designed to fix problems without cleaning the vents. Next, after coming back the second time to wash again, they ship out the man with a camera and that presents me with a 5500 dollar estimate to replace the drain pipes. I went to Home Depot and rented a snake and washed out the clog with no difficulties. I don't really understand why I paid 450 bucks.
I am surprised that this company has 4 stars. I called out a plumber to receive an estimate. They shifted the time of the appointment and did not inform me that the plumber had been on the way into the house. It's been over a week and I haven't obtained an estimate. If your Work to be carried out in a timely manner I would not suggest this compNy. It's been over a week since they won't even tell me just how much it is likely to cost for their solutions, and that I can't even hire a plumber from them. I'm upset and very frustrated. What a waste of time.
If I buy it individually, I am doing a little bit of research into prices for installation, but I would not be afraid to work with Mr. Amos!
Since my hot water heater stopped working, called around 11am and I attempted to troubleshoot, but was unable to re-light the pilot light. They'd Mr. Amos out to my home! They called to give me a heads that he had been on his way, so I really appreciated efficiency and the communication!
The price for replacing it seemed a bit higher than what I expected (quoted $1150), but it feels like there's some markers up Rotorooter adds for moving to purchase and deliver a water heater, which seems reasonable. The price was a bit high for somebody coming out just to relight a pilot (nearly $100), but they have to earn their money also, I figure. Mr. Amos was professional, friendly and efficient, and beautiful to work with!
I get a phone at 8:56pm informing me the plumber was on a project and he could be at my residence in a different 1-2 hrs. I cancelled it. I then obtained a $75 coupon, so chose to call them again. The guy came out, unprofessional, and advised it would be $300 to snake my bathtub. What a rip off, as well as service. Go people!!!
I was not able to get the job done and I assumed it wouldn't cost much but I was surprised when he handed me the invoice. It came up to correct a flow.
I placed an appointment on the internet and they called back with the time frame between 8-10. The tech did not appear until about 3:00 .Usually that they should quote the price before doing it but this was not the situation.
Update: Once I complained, I got a call from a production manager and we talked on the telephone and I told him exactly what had happened and he said he would talk to the general supervisor, he also said he would call back another day but I still never received a call back.
Nicholas is the best. He had been on time, incredibly wonderful and very professional.

Guess what... We got Nick to come back out and clear the primary drain line. Before he did a great job once more and like I mentioned. Learn from him and this time they delivered another gentleman to shadow him. Nick is great at what he does, and I'm not one if you don't do a good job, to give out praise easy. "The very first time we called Roto-Rooter we were absolutely desperate!! It was Thanksgiving, 2 hours before 21 guest arrive and we receive a clog in the household drainage system! Being skeptical of national brands, every drain business that was neighborhood was called by me in the publication. Nobody would come out, so I called Roto-Rooter. They had been so pleasant and they had somebody out over the hour! They saved the technician and the day was incredibly nice and very professional. And, they didn't up charge for the holiday call! This is my service call with the service and these was, once more, outstanding!!
Missed the entrance window following calls forth and back, and then by a mile, may not provide an estimated time of birth.
I prefer professionals that know how to strategy.
Four hour window is a joke. What they do is string you along. They were to come involving 3-7pm, then call to inform me they can't even appear until the next day. As it is Friday night, at this point another plumber can't be called by me and I will need to begin all over with another corporation. Advertising / switch and bait.
My son stuck on something and we couldn't get it out. I had been given a window that was 3-7pm, but needed to get my daughter for 3:45. He was very professional and friendly. He assessed the problem and walked through the possible measures that would have to be taken and the procedure and costs. He was completed in no time (maybe 15-20minutes). Polished the inside of the bathroom and let me know of another problem with the bathroom. Fantastic company with A1 customer support & great techs!!
Will definitely be calling them in the future with any plumbing needs!!!!

Nick got the work done efficiently and fast, was clean, considerate, and showed up immediately. He was also able to clearly explain that the particular problem we were having with our bathroom drainage and what type of maintenance we could engage in to prevent this problem. I'd if I could give zero stars. I predicted at 5:00 pm, has been advised that a technician would be in touch within fourteen days. At 6:00 pm, somebody called to let me know I am the next one in the queue and they'd be there within the hour. 7:30 pm, I phone back - somebody says they'll be there within the hour; I advised her they said an hour ago. She predicts the dispatcher. He"ran to a problem." He will not be there till nearer to 10:30 pm. THEN 12:30 AM ROLLS AROUND. No service, no updates. I call backagain. He's"still on that job." There is no fucking way he's been on precisely the same job for 6 and 1/2 hours. It's bullshit. She says he is on his way today (12:52 AM). They just lie to you and make you wait for nothing. Such a joke.
